I am very impressed by these! We've been playing with magnatiles for the last year, but as my son has been getting more and more into building I realised we needed more tiles.I went on here and saw these. I really liked the bright colors and the half price sale so I decided to buy and try. These magnets are pretty strong. Much stronger than the magnatiles. You can actually carry your creation around and turn it in circles etc if you wanted and it wouldn't fall apart. I can see how these would be a massive be hit for little kids in that aspect. My son loves building super tall vehicles with these (I also snapped up a vehicle set)and was balling when we had to put them away for bed time.I want to buy more sets but that'll have to wait for later as they are pretty pricey! All in all a fantastic toy I know we will get years of play from.

Bought this for my son that has special needs. He loves MegaBlocks, but I wanted him to try something a little harder to work with. He had lots of frustrations at first, as he didn’t understand what was happening (why are they sticking together?). But now he loves them! He doesn’t build things with them yet, but he explores how the magnets react. Very sturdy, which is excellent, as my son likes to throw things and let them fall on the ground. For kids with fine motor skills problems, this is perfect, as they have a little challenge to separate the shapes when they’re attached. What we do is stick them all one over the other and my son has to separate them. He’s getting better at it!Thought of buying a generic name, but this one’s worth the price.

I think these things are decently built to last a fair amount of time, but not under constant punishment from kids. If they learn to behave and respect the pieces they should last pretty much forever. There is so much you can do with these and it's tons of fun while working their 3d brain a lot. The way they built the casing for the individual magnets is brilliant: they have enough space inside the plastic to shift around themselves which lets them polarize the right way together all the time. It's a neat trick to fight against repulsion of similar magnet games. Kudos

These are great fun even for a younger child than recommended. I got them for my one year old and sure he doesn't build with them yet but I build small things and he smashes them and thinks it's hilarious. We also stick them to the fridge and he pulls them off and stacks them up. He will learn to build as he gets older and they are sturdy construction to last a long time.

Excellent for creative play and such a clever idea. However, very expensive and the 38pc is just not enough especially if 2 kids (or adults - they are very addictive!) are playing with them. Am told much cheaper if bought in USA if you know of any friends visiting!

These are quite pricey for how many you get but it is a good construction toy! My kids always ask me to make the ball. It's amazing how they all come together. My children have hours of fun with these and there aged between 3 and 8. Great for all ages

I have brought various sets of these for nieces, nephews, grandchildren, friends children etc of a variety of ages, all as gifts. I was pleased with what I saw and hope that they will be very well played with after the BIG DAY!!!

These were a hit with my nieces (5 and 7 years old). The colours are lovely, the pieces are a good size for little hands, and it's fun to see what ways you can put the parts together. Definitely recommend, for girls and boys.

This was bought for a three and a half year old child, I don't know what she gets from it other than a lot of somewhat chaotic enjoyment! For a child that age I think that is pretty good!

We already had a set of Magformers for my son and it was one of the most fought over toys we own. So we bought this for our two year old for daughter for Christmas and she loves it!

My 6 and 5 year old grandchildren love these and the shapes are good from an educational point of view as well as the fun element.

Great set, lots of fun plus educational at the same time, expensive but worth it. The set should last years as it's very sturdy.
