I bought this set of desktop speakers as my other Creative's (with a sub-woofer that had stop working) had been with me for about five years. I was a little concerned that there was no sub. with this set up. I use them as a reference 'cheapie' so that I can compare how my music (I write songs), sounds in reference say, to my 'Yamaha's'. While there is no real comparison, I find that Creative has pretty much hit the spot especially considering the modest price. I would recommend them for their tight sound; I find that the ideal setting for the tone (for me anyway) is all the way up - not too trebly, though I find the sound a little too muffled for my liking when the tone switch is all the way down - anti-clockwise.

Excellent sound quality, power, BUT : they are plugged as additionnal speakers to a 25" monitor screen, itself with HDMI connection to PC. AND there is a major problem : every time I start the PC, I have to UNPLUG them, check "monitoring device", RE-PLUG them, check "monitoring device" again, AND ONLY THEN will they work, BEAUTIFULLY, excellent definition, good basses, great response. BUT what a drag on start-up!!!I suppose they were meant to be plugged direct to a PC via headphone socket...

These speakers are in my view a good compromise between small size and good sound. They look great with gloss black fronts and the power/volume control plus tone control make it simple to get the right sound. A nice touch is the speakers go to sleep after a few minutes when there is no sound input, but instantly awake when an input comes back. Naturally the speakers do not give much bass, but the sound is surprisingly good for such small speakers. I would recommend these speakers for PC usage.

I required a set of speakers for my PC, I wanted good quality, and a decent sound, and I went for these creative speakers at under £40 ,they look good,and are a perfect size, once set up which was very easy,I switched them on and the sound was as good, if not better than I thought, nice treble and decent bass output, the bass ports are on top of the speakers, you can control the amount of treble but not bass, but I found the bass was acceptable anyway for these speakers...highly recommended.

ive been looking for ages and was totally confused with reviews of various speakersI like the fact that buying from Argos you arent waiting around for the post to deliver(although i do rate the Post Office) I took a chance from Argos reviews and picked these Creative speakers.simple to set up- very good sound for small speakers-a huge difference with the tiny laptop speakers.So to sum up I think anybody would be very happy buying these speakers from Creative and Argos

Very pleased, the sound omitted from these is superb and to be fair resembles a far more expensive product! There's also no transformer or speaker humming (that I can hear) either in standby or when used at any volume. I love the automatic standby feature too! All in all there's no negatives from me. I'm using these direct from a gaming monitor (mainly for games) and would confidently recommend these to other users looking to do the same.

I have given this product 5 stars. Even on the sound quality but, I'm basing this on how much they cost. They are relatively cheap so you can't buy them and then give 2 stars for sound quality as they're never going to match a £100 set of speakers. So for the price, after some experimenting with the tone and my pc's graphic equaliser I'm more than happy with the tone and quality. I like the gloss finish and think they look pretty good.

I looked at quite a few reviews before picking these. They are a simple but elegant design. Takes analogue sound, so relies on your sound card quality, which will normally be OK.I don't run them loud, but at low to medium volumes there is a good balance across the spectrum from bass to treble.They go into low power mode when not used, but come back very quickly when they detect an audio input.Runs off the mains, not USB power.

This is my second pair of T10's. MY first pair were bought 12 years ago and served me 100% until I accidentally damaged 1 speaker. This new pair will serve me just as well I have no doubt. Great sound, style and value for money. I would recommend these to anyone who enjoys their music or gaming as a good all round sound. If it helps you the overall approx measurments are 90mm Width x 190mm Height x 140mm Depth.

Love the style, the decent width gives the speakers a firm base. Decent length of cable between the speakers. Sound output is superb with volume and tone control. If you normally close your computer down with one click then walk away, fear not, the speakers will shut off within 10 mins and will reactivate when the computer is switched on and they detect a sound signal. Decent price too, highly recommended

I've had this make for many years, a d when my old stopped working I looked for the same make.These are the slightly updated version, the sound is excellent and they have tone control. These have a new feature of if they don't detect any sound they so into a sleep mode. But they start up again very quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some new speakers.

These speakers have nice crisp sounding tweeters and a good base sound for their size. I bought these to connect to my TV as TV speakers are rubbish these days. They also turn themselves off when no sound goes through them after 10 minutes and turn on again automatically when they detect sound. I bought these because I couldn't hear speach very well, but I can now. Great buy.

At first I thought these were a little pricey but worth the plunge.A step up from USB speakers these are powered.No separate Woofer but built in bass system delivers the goods while saving space on your desk Great tonal range ,bags of power and excellent sound quality.Look good too.These speakers bring out everything in my preferred music.I highly recommend them.

The speakers are little bigger than expected, but not large enough to cause any problems, they look good and have a nice finish. They produce a nice quality sound, with a fair amount of base, my only slight criticism would be that as you turn the base up, you loose the treble, so it is a little bit of a balancing act. They are very good value for money at the price paid.

The speakers do the job adequately, and they are quite nice to look at. A little bigger than PC speakers I have had previously but that's OK with me. One disappointment was that there's no port for a earphone jack which one reviewer mentioned on here, but that's not the fault of the sellers or makers. The reviewer, whoever it was, misled me and maybe others.
