I actually bought two of these. They offer great sound quality. You just had to plug it in to the speaker 3.5mm jack and a USB port on my computer and it works a treat.I have been using them for Skype calls as well as listening to music and online videos.It has a headphone socket in the speaker so you can plug your headset into this directly rather than unplugging the speakers and plugging your headphones into the socket on the computer which is very useful.One good advantage is that when I turn my computer off the speakers turn off as well, so it saves electricity rather than having them plugged into the mains and on constantly.There is no need to install any drivers/

Great sound quality and just had to plug it in to the speaker 3.5mm jack and a USB port on my computer and it works a treat. Of course the sound quality isn't as good as more expensive models, but it is actually very good!It has a headphone socket in the speaker so you can plug your headset into this directly rather than unplugging the speakers and plugging your headphones into the socket on the computer which is very useful.With mine, when I turn my computer off the speakers turn off as well, so it saves electricity rather than having them plugged into the mains and on 24/7.Didn't need to install any drivers or anything - the USB is strictly for the power only so you don't need a driver at all.

The sound output on my flat screen TV is abysmal. This is a known problem on these TV's as there is no room for a decent speaker format. I connected the speakers stereo jack into the headphone socket on my TV. and plugged the speakers power source into a spare USB outlet on the TV. The results were amazing. The volume control is worked by the TV. remote. It is extremely loud if needed. When watching a program that's suitable, the stereo effect is superb and even a surround sound is achieved as well. Talk about £10.00 well spent.Many thanks to the selling company.8437bob.

So happy with the purchase. They are light and do the job. Power feeds on USB connection and aux needs to be connected for sound. If you are expecting super bass and 5 star sound then go for something else obviously as these are budget speakers. But regarding connectivity, sound control and sound quality I think they are great for the price. And dedinitely not too little sound as some commented. Tested on high volume and no crackling sound also. Id say go for it.

Two very light weight speakers, connecting via USB and colour coded sound output jack around the back of the computer.The length of the cables are enough to reach computers that are on a different level to the monitor.There is nothing behind the decorative mesh, so they wouldn't be able to withstand a clumsy strike.Very pleased and for the price you really cannot complain.

Bought these for my gaming monitor which has woeful speakers for when I'm just chilling out and watching stuff on Youtube or Netflix when I don't want my headset on. Quality is surprisingly good, plenty of bass build quality is good. They are quite light though and do fall over with the lightest taps. Stuck some double sided tape under them onto my desk to solve this.

Weather itdvd's or youtube your wanting good high quality sound from and the use to listen to it yourself or with freinds these are a well priced excellent pair of speakers headphone socket volume control and usb powered. If you just want a pair of speakers and don't need a subwoofer and all the whistles then these are great and the don't whistle either.

They sound, er, okay at best, and due to being USB powered, only have limited amplification. However, being USB powered, they switch on with the kids computer (so no more leaving speakers switched on overnight), and they don't look unattractive in design. The headphone jack is a nice touch. For the price and the application, these are perfect.

Update May 2020 - I bought these in July 2016 and nearly 4 years later they are still going strong. Used almost daily to play royalty free music (from Jamendo) in the classroom at my sewing school from laptop. Yay*Really good speakers. Last well and are on a lot at my sewing school

Brought these to replace a mono speaker. Very impressed to say the least. These have a high sound capability, and fulfill my needs perfectly. Would I say these are the best ever? No, but I would pay a maximum of 20 pounds for these, not just 8. Great barging, definitely recommend

We bought these speakers to replace the same type we had before, however, the sound quality is much richer. Very easy to install as the audio end of the cable goes into the back of the pc and the other fits into a USB point, simple and quick, up and running in no time.

I have been working with bad speakers for several years & now I have these new speakers , my world has changed. They are cheap, but they are fantastic & I am thrilled with them and recommend then to everybody.

These speakers seem to be well made and provide good quality sound. I was pleased with all the features including headphone socket , l.e.d .light and volume control.A good purchase.

work well. ok for me just help me hear the computer better .and audio from downloads .no what we would call tinny but can be adjusted on themedia player anyway. spot on!
