I figured on testing these before going through the rigmarole of getting to the back of the table to plug them in the back, and I wasn't overly impressed because of the crackling from one of the speakers. But after some tweaking I managed to figure out how to minimize the noise while still allowing the audio to be heard at an acceptable level. I always knew that, being on the cheaper end of the speaker market, that they were not going to be crystal clear, and was happy enough to set them up more permanently. And I'm glad I did!!!After using the rear output, I was pleasantly surprised that the crackling wasn't present at all. A bit more testing reveals that the crackling was merely because I tested them laying down,

I've noticed that many people complain about crackling and interference with these but I would suggest that if you are trying to power them from USB 3 ports that might cause such a problem. I power mine from an external USB power/charging port on a mains socket and don't have any interference whatsoever.It is true that the sound is a little bit tinny but that suits my purpose as I have them connected via an adapter to a 1/4 inch jack on my computer's studio interface which also supplies 2 other speaker systems and for purposes of audio mixing I was looking for something that was top end heavy to emulate playing tracks through laptop speakers etc.They look quite decent too.I don't know how long

Had a Creative 5.1 system for a few years, however unfortunately they just stopped working one day when turning them on, looked into it and found out it was a common problem, electrician friend looked at the insides and worked out that it had been put together badly, and that a number of units just blew. so rather than spending another £80 on speakers thought id go back to basics, and glad I did, saved myself over £50 and these things work just as well, equally as clear and no issues with tinniness, or rumblings.

This is one or the cheapest ways of getting more sound out your computer for less than a tenner! I admit there is some hissing when the speakers are not in use but for £10 who can complain! These speakers do better sound quality than some wall socket ones I brought a while back! So if you need something quick and useful to boost your sound this is defiantly a good thing to look at!

These are amazing. No problems with them, no buzz or crackle and beautiful stunning sound. They look good too - not cheap and nasty like some. Very happy. I got them because the cheaper ones I bought didn't work and another set I bought - different Wesdar ones had terrible crackle all the time. I would definitely recommend these.

Not a huge volume but neat, easy to fit and ticks all the boxes I wanted for speakers next to my computer whilst working. Great value. It is only two speakers so if you were looking to replace a 3 type version as I was then review as my three unit version seemed to give more volume and you could put the speakers further apart.

My boyfriend is a musician and he needed speakers for his laptop. Obviously you can't expect miracles, but for they price they are, these do the job very well. They are powered from the USB port which convenient for him during workshops and lessons, without relying on external power sources.

Very good value for the price. They look fairly stylish, stand OK and deliver a good sound. They are perfect for me when watching videos or playing games. I know they did not include a headphone jack but I wish they did but that's my fault for not picking a speaker that had it.

Just needed some speakers for my desktop computer, these were cheap and do the job fine. Perfect for my needs but maybe for someone who wants amazing sound quality - should invest in some more expensive ones. Happy with this purchase

Great value for money, not too big or small and easy to plug in and out. However, when turned up really high, If no sound is being played through them, they buzz but it's not that distracting. 100% worth the purchase

These are great for the price and give a good sound quality / volume considering they are powered by USB only.Highly recommend for listening on the go or when you are lacking in spare plug sockets (As I was)

These are very reasonably priced and have a great sound. My portable dvd player has really tinny sound and this solves the problem. I'm not really hi-fi savvy, but am happy with the sound from these speakers.

Bass is good. Sound is clear and loud. Perfect for making music and playing songs. Good size, easy to use and look really nice with a reflective finish. Perfect. Can't beleive they're so cheap, it's madness.

These speaker are awesome, crystal clear even when turned up to maximum volume, if your just looking to improve from the bog standard speakers built into your monitor then buy this item. Cheap reliable. ;-)

These were very good for the price. There is a slight hiss if you listen very carefully but not enough to notice generally. The sound from these are very good and overall very good for the money.
