I have two of these, I think that should say I like them. They are not anywhere near the quality of, say, Bose but are nowhere near that price. For everyday use, like watching Youtube and if you can't really tell the difference between an F flat and a G string then these are really good. They do lose a bit at the extreme lows and highs but not anything to worry about. They're pretty robust as well. My first pair have taken a lot of knocks and being dropped and still work perfectly.If you're looking for simple plug and play speakers you can't go wrong with these.

If you have a basic set up, and space is at a premium, then this these speakers are for you! 5W RMS is loud enough for most uses (I don't know where the 28W figure comes from??). Connection is really easy, in that there is a 3.5mm stereo jack, and 1 x USB connector. Just plug in, it & it works! Very easy.When you switch off your computer, then it also switches off, although there is a power switch. If you are looking for a basic pair of speakers for listening to basic sounds from your computer, these might just do the trick. They are powered by USB so you don't need a spare plug socket. Power/volume controls are easily accessible. These speakers are fine for watching online video content, casual game play, and playing notification sounds from your PC. The sound is clear and crisp, and the speakers can reach quite a volume. That said the dynamic range is quite limited as one would expect

I purchased these speakers as my laptop was too quiet when watching stuff. I didn't want anything fancy or expensive. I found these on Argos.com and thought they would just be cheap speakers that altered the sound a bit. I was shocked when I first used them as they were perfect! For the price, the sound is fantastic. Great for watching stuff if you are fed up of quiet laptop speakers. So glad I purchased, I can now watch stuff and hear everything perfect. I like how they are easy to use too.

cheap cheerful do the job if you want speakers, but don't expect to plug headphones in & get the same, plugging in the headphones into the headphone socket on them just bypasses the speakers & the volume controls don't work at all, its just like pluging them into the comp itself, so don't expect nice boosted sound like you get from speakers, if you just need speakers this is good product, if you like headphones too buy something else that will amplify the headphones as well not bypass the system

I purchased these for my son to use whilst playing games on our home PC. They are a great size and for the price the sound quality is ok. Obviously you are not getting BOSE or SONOS sound quality but for what you pay they are ideal. They plug straight into a USB port so setup is very easy. The speakers also come with a headphone jack which is ideal so you don't have to listen to Minecraft being played over and over. I would recommend these for anyone looking for well priced PC/Laptop speakers.

My previous speakers on my desktop suddenly up and died on me so I needed a quick and inexpensive replacement accepting the fact that any system is only as good as its weakest link, which in my case is probably my ears!! So I reserved these speakers on the Argos website, shot up the road and collected them. Came home, plugged them into a USB socket - problem solved!! What's more, I was and continue to be pleased with the sound quality and clarity - and for such a reasonable price! Well pleased!

For the price of the speakers they give out excellent sound. I had a set of speakers from Logitech which had a sub-woofer and which gave up the ghost. I did ponder substantially (because of the price) what the sound quality was going to be like. Well I thought I'll buy them and if they were of no good, then I've got 30 days to return. I did not want to spend a fortune, which meant down-grading. These DO give a good sound and I do not miss the sub-woofer. A good set of speakers to down grade to.

I'm delighted with these, not only is the sound great, but the volume control knob on the front means that you can easily use it to adjust volume while watching a video instead of having to use the Windows icon on the computer. The headphone jack means that headphones can be plugged into the speakers instead of into the computer, and the blue light showing you that they are plugged into the computer means that I can tell whether my computer is on ‘sleep’ or turned off without fiddling with it.

For the price, these are fantastic, and great for when my Bluetooth speaker runs out of battery! Power comes straight from the laptop via USB so no need to plug in separately. A simple on/off button and separate volume control is all they have on the front but that’s all you need. Maximum volume is actually based on the power supplied by your laptop USB socket (my low-powered Chromebook with regular USB gives middling volume, but my i5 Windows laptop with USB 3 gives decent high volume).

For Zoom use, to distance sound from the laptop and the webcam. Cheap [ relatively -very cheap], easy to power [ laptop USB], easy to connect [ 3.5 mm jack, reasonable length of lead ], light, easy to put away [smallish]. Plenty of volume available for local use [ note - not for auditoria]. Sound quality - good clarity, ok for voices, but boomy - not recommended for serious music listening. A useful alternative to headphones, where there is a small audience or a person is hard of hearing.

We bought these speakers to plug into our old flat screen tv as its sound quality was terrible. We didn't expect too much as they were very small and cheap. But we were completely surprised by them. The sound quality is brilliant. Very clear and nice and loud. Easy to connect. We just used an iPhone plug adapter to plug in the USB power cable, and the speakers plugged straight into the headphone socket on the TV. We couldn't be happier with them. They truly are great little speakers.

I needed a set of speakers with a headphone socket, to plug into my wall mounted TV. This allows me to easily plug in/remove headphones. (Many TV allow, via the menu options, to output sound through the TV speakers whilst headphones are plugged in - my TV doesn't). So this set up was the answer.The sound is amazing - when I first set them up I thought the sound was coming from the TV and that I hadn't plugged them in properly! The sound via headphones is brilliant too. Recommend.

Just replaced my monitor and the new one is without built in speakers. I didn't want more 230 V plugs/transformers nor did I want batteries - so USB was the answer. I ummed and ahed about larger products with bass ports but didn't want to give up valuable desk space. I expected a very significant compromise on sound quality with smaller speakers but the sound is really pretty decent (even the bass content) and the price point as good as internet shopping. Very pleased all round.

Firstly id like to say that the Trust Raina speaker set that i purchased from argos is one of the best and definetly is for the price. Theyre very high quality and for the price you cannot complain at all. Argos thankyou for fulfilling my search. On a side not ive done this as a non biased review but i never win anything and ive just had surgery on my face after being knocked of my bike on friday so if i was one of the 10 winners of the £100 gift card it would be a blessing x
