I figured on testing these before going through the rigmarole of getting to the back of the table to plug them in the back, and I wasn't overly impressed because of the crackling from one of the speakers. But after some tweaking I managed to figure out how to minimize the noise while still allowing the audio to be heard at an acceptable level. I always knew that, being on the cheaper end of the speaker market, that they were not going to be crystal clear, and was happy enough to set them up more permanently. And I'm glad I did!!!After using the rear output, I was pleasantly surprised that the crackling wasn't present at all. A bit more testing reveals that the crackling was merely because I tested them laying down,

these speaker are great for there price hence the 4th star however the music quality and volumer are acceptable (idont listen to booming music but do love a good singalong and dont like the sound of my voice) these cover my aweful screeching just fine with good quality treble and vocals, the bass is definatly there but thesse are much more tweeters than sub's (obviously) they are let down by a couple of things firstly the actual design flaw, when there is no music being played and the speakers are on the level of white noise is WAY above what it should be (only benefit i guess is it will make people energy conscious) my other issue is the USB power i thought i would be ok with it but all the USB cables now coming from my USB hub is just annoying now and very messy,

I've noticed that many people complain about crackling and interference with these but I would suggest that if you are trying to power them from USB 3 ports that might cause such a problem. I power mine from an external USB power/charging port on a mains socket and don't have any interference whatsoever.It is true that the sound is a little bit tinny but that suits my purpose as I have them connected via an adapter to a 1/4 inch jack on my computer's studio interface which also supplies 2 other speaker systems and for purposes of audio mixing I was looking for something that was top end heavy to emulate playing tracks through laptop speakers etc.They look quite decent too.I don't know how long

I needed to improve the very poor speaker output on a new desktop computer monitor . These little speakers are perfect for my needs. The sound output from these will deafen the whole household if put on maximum volume. I do not expect top end hi fi sound reproduction for the price I paid . I consider the sound output better than the average radio and if,like me, that is what you want then you cannot go wrong with these. I have tucked them behind the monitor and out of sight and the sound is still satisfactory. I have set the volume on the speaker to the highest I will need and thereafter control the volume off the computer. I cannot say how durable they will prove to be but the build quality looks OK Supplied by Fuzion off Amazon within 48 hours post free.

When this arrived it didn't fizz.BUT - once I set it up, used it, used it a lot, it shone! "It grows on you".It is sturdy, has good quality cable, has LONG cable thus really useful, has lovely soothing blue light, very good speaker cones, very good on/off switch, very good volume control. It takes being stupidly dropped off a chair arm as if it was made for that! Oh, and it has a lovely mirror finish which really is smart every day you use it, thus rounds off the package.Yet, at the beginning, it did not "seem" like all this. Strange, but a lesson worth the learning. It is in constant use & never has given the slightest trouble. A brilliant buy! Many have asked where to buy one for themselves!!!

Super little speakers for the price! I use these for playing music through my p.c. and streaming internet radio. For under £10.00 these are an absolute bargain!. Good sound quality for their size, no issues with background noise through an MP3 player (a little noise through my p.c. but that's a shielding issue with my p.c, not a problem with the speakers). A nice long cable between each speaker, a long 3.5mm jack cable & what's more just plug it into a USB port for power! Recommended product from TRUST who in my opinion always make good quality P.C. products! 5 Stars all the way, a real bargain!

Bought these speakers to use with my laptop as inbuilt speakers a bit on the quiet side. Extremely pleased with them considering they were only £8.99. Used the laptop's "Beatsaudio" software to drop the treble and up the bass a bit then settled down to watch an episode of "Game of Thrones" - so much better than with the laptop speakers,Two minor negative points.Firstly, the speakers are a little bit unstable (physically) - they don't take much to knock over.Secondly the power-on light - it's very blue and very bright! I've stuck a piece of insulating tape over it, it was so distracting!

Had a Creative 5.1 system for a few years, however unfortunately they just stopped working one day when turning them on, looked into it and found out it was a common problem, electrician friend looked at the insides and worked out that it had been put together badly, and that a number of units just blew. so rather than spending another £80 on speakers thought id go back to basics, and glad I did, saved myself over £50 and these things work just as well, equally as clear and no issues with tinniness, or rumblings.

I thought these sounded awful at first- thin, with poor resolution- but they sounded better after a while. Much better. Kind of like being disappointed with a car you buy for lacking the acceleration of a sports model but then discovering that it's a fun little drive anyway. To get the most out of them I have to imagine I am a small man and they are actually three times the size but enough of my warped imagination. For the price I paid- 12.98, including delivery- I'm satisfied.

Not a huge volume but neat, easy to fit and ticks all the boxes I wanted for speakers next to my computer whilst working. Great value. It is only two speakers so if you were looking to replace a 3 type version as I was then review as my three unit version seemed to give more volume and you could put the speakers further apart.

My boyfriend is a musician and he needed speakers for his laptop. Obviously you can't expect miracles, but for they price they are, these do the job very well. They are powered from the USB port which convenient for him during workshops and lessons, without relying on external power sources.

Great value for money, not too big or small and easy to plug in and out. However, when turned up really high, If no sound is being played through them, they buzz but it's not that distracting. 100% worth the purchase

I also splashed out a tenner on these, but I have to say, I'm very impressed with the sound quality. They even have appreciable bass for a desktop set. These speakers are a bargain at less than £15.

Great value for money. Sound is very detailed and good stereo separation. Obviously limited bass (you would need a separate woofer) but not tinny in any respect .Ideal for a bedroom/small office

Good value speaker with free postage, sound is very good with a nice earthy bass. Better speaker than the price would indicate, usb power is better than anticipated. Would highly recommend.
