This is a tremendous bag. It has a cool retro style but is very practical - its construction is sturdy and the inside is lined with a waterproof material. There are pockets tucked away everywhere, and it's full of clever features. I particularly like the laptop compartment, which has its own padded lining and is accessed from a zip on the outside of the pack - ideal if you fly with it and need to get your laptop out at security. It's comfortable enough for day hikes too, and will carry a good amount of kit - the main compartment is surprisingly spacious, in all dimensions.

Gorgeous bag and well designed. The material is sturdy and the bag is comfortable and well-structured. There are modern touches (well padded laptop/document compartments, lots of pockets inside) without compromising the retro aesthetic. I recently bought a Patagonia bag that looked good but completely lacked the features this has. This one is leaps and bounds better in terms of quality and useability yet costs the same.
