✯ L'ORÉAL PARIS✯ BROW ARTIST✯ XPERT✯ MECHANICAL BROW PENCIL + STYLING BRUSH‘Made in China’~ COLOUR CODE/COLOUR : 107/COOL BRUNETTEThis quality mechanical eyebrow pencil is supplied simply in a re-sealable plastic-type bag and in a strong cardboard outer for safe transit. With a diameter of around 1 cm, it measures around 14 cm with both lids in situ. The elegant barrel is SILVER-coloured with 'L'ORÉAL PARIS ~ BROW ARTIST ~ XPERT ~ MECHANICAL BROW PENCIL + STYLING BRUSH' embossed in BLACK, the latter in various languages. The end pieces, under the lids are LIGHT GREY coloured. One rigid plastic-type lid is transparent and covers the spiral-effect ‘styling brush’ that is around 1.5 cm in length. The brush is quite a firm texture, to me, but I like it.The other rigid plastic-type lid is a similar shade to the eyebrow pencil colour. A label on this lid has the bar code, colour & other detail and peels back to reveal the ingredients (1st image refers). Simply twist this part of the barrel a little to reveal the tip of the triangular-shaped 'pencil'.Fully retracted the pencil area is around 2.5 cm in length (last image refers). Both lids click audibly back into place. After a bit of practice, I found this easy to ‘apply & style’ with the resultant look less painted & the colour a more natural looking shade of DARK BROWN than some others currently on the market.ooOooManufacturer Detail:‘Brush your brow hairs upward and into place, to open up the eyes.Begin your application from the inner corner of the eye, lightly brushing colour in small strokes. Finish using the sharpest edge of your Brow Artist Xpert to create a clean finish.’[16 images attached]

L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Xpert - No. 108, Warm BrunetteI've used all sorts of different eyebrow products over the years since I over-plucked my eyebrows in my teens and on one side in particular my eyebrow is overly thing. This is a really good eyebrow product I am happy to have in my make-up kit.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* It's small enough to fit in your make-up bag on the go (my favourite Laura Mercier pencil now comes with a spoolie on the end which makes it too long to fit in my travel make-up bag)* Contains a spoolie which is great to tame eyebrow hairs and get them facing in the right direction before using the pencil,as well as afterwards to help with blending and getting the hairs to lie back in place again* The pencil is wind-up, which means there's no need to sharpen the pencil - just wind the lead up further* The lead itself is triangular, meaning you can draw on fine lines/hairs with the tip or make broader strokes with the edge* The product feels as hard as a pencil lead, which means you build up your eyebrow look with feathering strokes to get to the desired effect, starting from quite light with the initial strokes to quite dark* If you make a mistake, you can smudge the crayon off with your finger and carry on=== NIGGLES===* With the lead in a plastic casing rather than protected by a wooden pencil, I'm not sure how vulnerable it will be to snapping offFor sale at the time of writing this review at £6.99.

I usually like L'Oreal products and this is no exception. L'Oreal Paris Brow Expert, Number 105 for Brunettes. This pen style applicator is of a standard length and consists of two separate products in one. A 'wind up and wind down' eyebrow crayon one end and an eyebrow brush the other end. Both ends have a lid … one brown and the other clear plastic. The colour of the crayon is quite a dark brown and the texture is not too soft yet it applies easily and evenly. The brush is a small spiral mascara type wand which you use to comb through your eyebrows before and after applying the crayon. The crayon produces a good colour which suits my dark brown hair and eyebrows perfectly. It covers well without looking too obvious and the brush tidied up my slightly scruffy brows nicely.I am fifty seven years of age and do not have the inclination to style my eyebrows apart from the odd tweezering of a stray hair or two. However I am sure this eyebrow pencil and brush would be just the thing for the modern eyebrow styling phenomenon which is sweeping the nation amongst teenagers.

I find this is a really good eyebrow pencil, which works well for me and my needs. I have a scar running along the middle of one eyebrow, when I split my eyebrow 23 years ago. I have dark brown hair and eyebrows and this is a good colour match for me - dark without looking artificial. I have been using no 105 for the last few months and this is a slightly cooler colour, which is actually more closely matched to my own eyebrow hair colour. The pencil runs smoothly when applying and I like the unusual shape of the lead, which has a thin triangular rather than a circular lead, giving a point at the top and a wider base. This allows you to have broader strokes for the whole brow, but with a bit of practice, you can angle the top to give the more delicate strokes for definition.Really pleased with this pencil and the way it allows me to cover my scar where no hair grows in a more natural way. I use the brush on the other end of the pencil to soften the lines and blend into my natural brow-line more effectively.

Very nice brow pencil with a cool brunette tone - not too red. The slanted tip means you can get a great, precise finish, and by using the flat edge that fills in a larger area, also a nice natural more shadowy appearance which is less harsh than trying to draw individual hairs in with a pointed tip. The pencil is quite richly pigmented, so take my advice and use a very light hand if you want to maintain a believable look rather than Scouse brows! There's a spiral brush at the end which is handy both for grooming the brows before you start and also for slightly softening the look after application of pencil. My usual gripe applies here in that I don't like the peel off stickers they plonk on the pencil as you end up with a gummy residue that can collect fluff and dirt. However I suppose it's understandable with these more budget end cosmetics that tend not to come in boxes. Good value and happy to recommend as it does the job it was designed for very well.

Well I thought I would try this colour out as it's near to the natural colour my hair is. At first look I really like the packaging with the brush at one size and the pencil at the other was perfect. I tried the colour on my eye brow and it was perfect. The shape of the pencil was great to as it's slanted, this made it much easier to apply. I have over plucked my eye brows so have very little but with this pencil I was able to make them as thick as I like them with the triangular pencil and fill in where my eye brow is missing from an accident I had a few years ago. I had many compliments about my eye brows, but not one of them noticed I had used a pencil. They all said that they looked very natural & would never have known.I have recommend this item to many of my friends who like me have over plucked. Would go out my way to buy the Brow Artist Xpert. An amazing product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This brow pencil is really super easy to use & it makes a great difference to your brows because it makes them look fuller & younger too. I find that my Brow artist xpert pencil makes my brows look thicker & more defined than my old pencil & the effect looks very natural as well. The pencil lasts all day but if not it is easy to touch up your colour with just a quick sweep of the pencilThis is a retractable brow pencil so there is no need for a sharpener. It also has a wedge shaped tip rather than a point which makes is super simple to get a natural look. There is a handy brush at the other end of the pencil as well which is really useful for brushing your hairs upwards before you apply anycolour.I am very pleased with this & will be recommending it to everybody because it is so simple to use & very well designed. A lovely natural brown shade in a retractable fine tipped pencil, complete with a spiral brow brush at the other end. Most of us have brown brows rather than blonde or black and this not too dark, milk chocolate shade will suit the majority of skin tones. The pencil is as narrow as a fine tipped colouring pencil, much easier to apply than a chubby and clumsy brow crayon.Black, drawn on brows may be fashionable but they are also ridiculous in the eyes of a sizeable minority and this Brow Xpert pencil happily helps you look stylish as well as bucking an unsuitable trend. The retractable tip should mean that this pencil is kept in use a lot longer, rather than put at the back of drawer when it needs sharpening to be forgotten about for months or years.Lots to like and very little to dislike about this.

This colour is stated to be a cool brunette and I find that it's a good colour for those of us who don't want a reddish tinge. In Colour Me Beautiful terms it's more suited for Winters than for Autumns. The brow pencil goes on easily and fills in any thinner patches in a very natural way when applied in a series of strokes. It might be a little thick for those who have a narrower line to their brow but I very much liked how quickly it could be applied, yet retained a natural effect. I like the spiral brush very much and use that both before and after applying the pencil to create a natural but defined look that fits well with my colouring.I do not like the stencilled effect that seems to be quite popular nowadays and this pencil and brush allows for a more individual effect.

Overall I think this is a great product - I love the touch of having a shaping brush at one end! It is easy to apply, and looks nice and natural - enhancing brows rather than giving them that scary painted on look. Slight criticism that the shaped pencil lost its edge very quickly, meaning it was not as idiot proof as it possibly suggests, but it was still perfectly usable - just needed to be a bit more careful putting it on! I usually use a Benefit brow pencil - and I'm not sure this is good enough to overtake that - but it is a close call because the added brow brush really is a genius touch that tips the scales in L'Oreal's favour. A very close call - so no doubt for the price difference this is the one to buy![This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is an ideal brow pencil with a brush on the lids to brush up the brow into place before gently adding definition. Its surprising the difference that a little addition of colour can make, adding definition to brows instantly makes the face framed and the eye are look more “lifted”.This is a twist up crayon type product, it’s a thin tipped crayon making it really easy to add in small natural strokes and its very buildable meaning its easy to keep things natural and not end up with “too dark” brows. The product is very soft and goes on smoothly, its long lasting too.I tried the Cool Brunette which I found perfect for my fair skin as it wasn’t too dark. The Warm Brunette is darker in colour and would suit someone with brown hair /medium to dark skin tone

This is the best eyebrow pencil I have used in years, as I over plucked my eyebrows in my teenage years as was the fashion back in the day I am an avid user of these little miracle workers and have tried many different ones. This is L'OReal Paris Brow Expert NO 108 for dark brunette so.Well I have dark blonde hair and this colour is perfect for my eyebrows. A pen style applicator on one end with a wind up wind down pencil on the one end and a eyebrow brush to tidy up the brows on the other end. Both ends have a Iid, one clear and one brown.Easy to apply and I have a small scar on my eyebrow where I had chicken pox as a child and this covers it comfortably and discreetly. At £6.99 this is a brilliant buy and I am going to definitely re-buy.

What is really nice about this Lóreal brow pencil is that it manages to be not too hard or too soft but somewhere in the middle. Hence it is hard enough to make really good strong evenly coloured lines but not too hard that it hurts or prevents you putting the pigment on in consistent way. The head combines a pencil head and a styling brush one at each end. The brush is really a handy addition allowing you work the colour into a more diffuse or complex shape. There is a wide range of shades in the range-I tested Brunette which gave me the type of brown I was looking for and expected. This is a standard sized pencil which fits easily into the handbag and will work very well if you want have iton hand for reapplication during the working day.

I love this mechanical eyebrow pencil and the shade is perfect for my eyebrows. The angle tip allows you to fill your brows with a few strokes and build up your colour gradually for a natural look. And no waste compared to pencils which need to be sharpened and can break. The brush enables you to finish off the look by gently shaping the brows; I like to spray it with a bit of lacquer to make sure the brows stay in place. I find it easier and quicker to use this pencil as opposed to a powder kit, especially in the mornings when I do not have much time. Reasonably priced compared to other similar brands and should last me a few months.Very happy with this product![This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
