Received as a gift this xmas and have used everyday for numerous hours and cannot find fault with them. Having used Tritton and Turtle Beach headsets previously (both which both due to poor construction quality) I can say this product blows the other brands out of the water. I should note that I only use them on PC. I use the headset for gaming primarily, but also for listening to music and watching videos on Youtube, iPlayer etc. This Headset does also have DTS mode if you don't want to use the Dolby 7.1 mode, but I find the DTS mode to be god awful. It is incredibly tinny and sounds come across as if they are recorded inside a wheely bin quite frankly,i'm not entirely certain of its purpose. In order to make the most of this Headset I cannot impress upon would be customers enough to USE THE LOGITECH SOFTWARE. It may take a few minutes to fathom, but once you have learnt how to use the advanced equalizer to customize the sound to your own liking, only then will you be getting your money's worth. I say this because the headset has some pre-loaded sound profiles, but these are customized to different scenarios, some of which are not suitable for listening to music (quite frankly, I find that if I use the FPS profile with 7.1 turned on, the headset butchers any song I throw at it). Thus I suggest you turn 7.1 on, and create your own custom profile that makes games AND music sound great (as I have successfully). Its all about your taste in sound really, I like lots of bass etc.I have found that I need to mute my laptop speakers when using the headset in USB mode because sounds play through both for some odd reason (Windows 7). I am yet to use 3.5 mm mode as yet.If you have any other logitech products and the gaming software pre-installed, you will need to download the latest version from the logitech website for the software to recognize the headset. I bought a logitech gaming mouse about 6 months ago and that version of software did not recognize the headset. It also changes colours, which you can customize from the software. The USB cable is of very high quality, mine is not braided, just rubber, but very well made nonetheless. I use the box to keep the cable and headset in to prevent any damage or excessive wear. The cables are removable from the headset, which I find a great feature as all of my previous headsets have suffered from being pulled out from the bottom of the headset when I get up, now I can simply unplug the cable from the left ear and safely move away without damaging the headset or cable.Very handy volume scroller on the headset with audible tone to tell you if you are moving volume up or down and by how much. They also look pretty damn cool as well.QUALITY + BUILDThis headset is of a solid plastic construction. Some have mentioned a 'no-frills' design, and this is true to some extent. One could describe the construction as 'rugged simplicity'. No fancy parts that are likely to break etc,GAMINGI would not say I am a hardcore gamer, but for those interested I play games such as War Thunder, M&B: Warband, Star Wars Battlefront, and Rocket League for example. The 7.1 Surround Sound is amazing and is perfect for gaming, giving a fantastic gaming experience, with sound effects moving around you in a fully surround sound fashion. You can turn 7.1 off with one of the G buttons on the side of the headset as some older games don't sound very good with it turned on, such as AOE 3. But again, this is down to taste.MUSIC + VIDEOAfter having customized a sound profile to my liking, I leave 7.1 turned on and have no issues with listening to music or watching videos. Perfect balance of all elements. Although, there are some occasions when it is best turn 7.1 off to improve quality, often I find with Youtube videos, but this is rare.MICROPHONE + COMMUNICATIONSI personally use TeamSpeak as my chosen communication software (can't stand skype) and the mic i'm told is perfectly reasonable. Some have said it could use slightly more bass (my voice sounding slightly tinny, may be because there is no foam thing on the end of the mic) but I have a very deep voice as it is so this is of benefit to me. I really love the concept of the fold away mic, keeps it safe from damage or getting caught on things etc which also mutes the mic at the same time, but there is also a G button for this.COMFORTHaving a larger sized head, I find this headset VERY comfortable. The headband extends out a great distance and is padded (although I have had headsets with more padding, but this will suffice). The ear-cups are VERY spongy which is great, the cups also are designed to fit around the ears rather than on them. Previous headsets I've had have sat on my ears and crushed them, which become very painful after long sessions. A downside of having ear-cups like this is that my ears get very hot after a short while, requiring me to take regular breaks (but one should take regular breaks when gaming or using computers for long periods so this encourages me to do so). The ear-cups are also removable and washable.Overall, I solidly recommend this headset for most types of users.

£115 for gaming headphones may seem steep, but imagine viewing the latest Bond movie with the music piped through a cheap set of speakers. The reason why film buffs invest in high end sound bars is because sound quality is as essential to the immersive experience as high pixel density. The same with gaming. If you're spending out for high-end graphics cards and processing power, then sound quality warrants similar attention. So, the verdict on these austerity-busters from an avid gamer:With the current age of professional gaming bringing such high demands of precision and quality, the headset market is a premium one. Gamers will want to get the most bang for one's buck when choosing which headset is right for them. The Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum retails at $149 US (£115 UK), and delivers in almost every aspect asked of it.Sound qualityThe 7.1 surround sound provides excellent immersion for the wearer; Crysis 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, League of Legends, CS:GO, all sound superb on the G633, at no point during testing did the sound break up or distort which is essential when attempting to maintain a cinematic feeling to games. In terms of maximum volume, this headset gives more than enough, the G633 reaches a loud but not dangerous limit. Further adjustments to the sound settings can be made through the 'Logitech Gaming Software' which will be mentioned later. The only real gripe I have with this headset is a personal opinion, I listen to music and watch trailers quite loudly on a Turtle beach x12 which offers a large amount of bass control but at the cost of much more audio breakup, this is also dangerous due to the high volumes which can be heard on the x12 and is why I do not consider it a limitation with the G633, rather a suggestion that it could be improved if a safety feature could be added through the 'Logitech Gaming Software' console, so individuals such as myself can choose whether to take the risk. One of the games I played during testing; Crysis 3 is a graphically intense and cinematically beautiful game, the headsets capabilities were well noticed here.Microphone qualityThe G633 comes with a pull-down microphone which can also be extended at the tip. I recommend extending this tip as although the headset utilises incredibly good sound-cancelling technology, it can still leak through and be picked up when around 80% volume, below this threshold is fine and nothing will be heard. Other than this, the microphone is very good quality, it showed massive improvement over my existing medium and little to no background noise can be heard on playback. The microphone also succeeds where many others fail in that it accurately recorded my voice, it is relieving to not sound like an exaggerated version of yourself when recording videos or streaming.Comfort / DesignWithout sounding too praising of Logitech, I must say that this is the most comfortable headset I have ever had the pleasure of using. The soft material and padding on each speaker is large enough to engulf your ears but still remain firmly locked to your head while being used. The adjustable head strap is very generous in that I for one have a wider head than most, however I was still able to adjust this with room to spare without sacrificing any level of comfort or durability. From a non-gaming perspective this headset might at first feel slightly heavy, but by gaming standards it is perfectly normal. The design of the headset shows significant improvement over its wireless predecessor the G930; the reflective plastic design and customisable lights & buttons all come together perfectly in a classy design with little to no flaws. The lighting panels and buttons can be customised from the easy to use 'Logitech Gaming Software' whereby a variety of colours can be chosen in breathing, pulsing, or static modes, and any key can be assigned to one of the three given buttons.Summary (0-10 stars)Surround sound 10/10Audio quality 10/10Customisation options 10/10Comfort 10/10Microphone sound-cancelling 8/10Microphone recording quality 9/10Durability 8/10Style / design 10/10ConclusionThe Logitech Artemis Spectrum G633 is the best headset I have ever experienced, I would suggest to anyone who can afford it that they should put it on their Christmas list ASAP. The value for money here is very noticeable, for the retail price of £115 you are paying for strong durability, good style, and great audio & microphone quality. There may be cheaper options on the market, however you will have no regrets after gaming for a few hours with the G633.

Okay so im coming from a Razer Blackshark which i bought 3 years ago but only used like Max of 50-60 times of max duration 1 hour.I got a few things to say and well usually i start with the bad things but then again i only bought the G633 recently so i got no bad comments about them.So here we go.Lets start with the Headset Shape. The shape is fully plastic and really solid which gives you the feeling they wont break but then again they are flexible but not so much that they are annoying but not so little that you get uncoftorable really easy with them, they have the right amount of flexibility so that you are as comfortable as possible.I wore them for 3-4 hours and i can easily say that afteronly 20 minutes i forgot i was wearing them and also i want to add that they give you this Premium feeling.I tried testing them on gaming and music to see how the sound was and i saw a slight diference between my BlackSharks and my G633 UNTILL i tried out the Suround system of 7.1 and i can say i was mind blown and since im an FPS player i could easily hear all my surroundings with great ease almost as if i had eyes at the back of my head which my BlackSharks failed hardly at doing. You will notice there is a big diference between Music and Gaming,in Gaming you have this real time Realistic sound and at Music you have this enchancment on bass and something i also like is that the headphones where focusing more on the sounds/music that you can hardly hear but love, so basically it made Music sound better with this headset. In general like i previous said they bring this Premium quality in sound and Shape as if it was a 400-600 $/€/£ headset.Something i also really like is the buttons you get on the left side, three G's customisable buttons a mic mute button a volume roller so you can adjust the volume and a switch for PC to 3.5.All these buttons make life way easier for a Gamer.Something i was curious about was if i could have my PC and Phone connected at the same time and surprisingly i actually could but obviously i was getting confused after a while since i was listening to music and a game but Hey it works so thumbs up for that.Overall i have to say that Logitech did an amazing work on these Headsets and i got to be honest i Love them!If i had to rate them to a scale of 1 to 10 i would give 10/10 since i basically cant find anything that i dont like about them.I recommend this Headset to every gamer so if you can afford it and looking for something new.. Go for it you wont be disappointed o promise.

Personally I am not much of a gamer, but my wife spends a lot of time with Final Fantasy and, before that, World of Warcraft and has found these headphones to be a lot better than the ones she was using before because they are comfortable, and she can also plug her phone in and take calls while she is playing. I know it is a bit gimmicky, but we both like the way the boom microphone pulls down and extends. The instructions for this are practically non-existent. Just a hard-to-understand diagram on the inside of the box, but it does give you a link to the Logitech website where you can read a proper PDF manual and download the software you need to do advanced settings, including the settings for the lighting effects.I'm not sure how practical that is actually. You can change the colour of the lights on the headphones and make them cycle through colours, but surely when you are using them you can't see them, so its a bit gimicky but you only have to look at the design of gaming mice and keyboards to see that gamers are not exactly hostile to a bit of gimmicky design :)The downloadable software is quite easy to install and use. The same program will also control/configure Logitech gaming mice and keyboards so if you have one you may already have it anyway.I haven't played with any of the audio settings because everything sounds fine already. As far as I know, Final Fantasy doesn't make use of surround sound so we are not really making the most of all the capabilities. Being positive, that means we are future-proofed for when we do get something that makes use of the 7.1 surround.I think these headphones would be a bit better if the phone connection was by Bluetooth instead of having a second cable, but otherwise they are good although at this price I would say they are for serious gamers who will actually use all the features and controls.

First thing I noticed when I got these is that the headphones move around easily and freely, which can be annoying when you are not wearing them but is no big deal, these are extremely comfortable more so than any other headset I have ever owned and provided a nice sound quality, it works well on my pc and has a nice mic which can be neatly and easily stored away if you finish gaming and want to watch a movie or listen to music without having any mic interference.ONE PROBLEM though that I have found so far is that I bought these headphones for multi platform play, although they are amazing on my pc when I plugged it into my Xbox One is that, although they work, it does echo in party chat...what they fail to tell you before you buy is that for your receptive console you may need a chat adapter because I cannot plug the jack straight into my controller with echo, so I will have to spend another £10-20 on top of this to see if this fixes my problem which is no big deal but I would like to have known that beforehand... the echo isn't soul destroying but it shouldn't happen.Sound quality is good and the mic quality is apparently great my friends tell me (sept on Xbox when they say what is that echo) the headset also has glowing lights that are cool but kinda pointless, if you care about it enough you can apparently program it to whatever color you want so there is that... it feels weird knowing that if someone walks in on you they will see your head glowing like a Christmas tree.Overall for what I payed I am very happy with the product and would rate it a high 4 out of 5... it would possibly have been a solid 5 out of 5 if it worked on my Xbox One without fail, or at least if I was warned clearly that I might need a chat adapter to solve any problems.

.Logitech's wired G633 Artemis Spectrum gaming headset supports 7.1 surround sound and are designed to connect with mobile devices, home theatre systems, game consoles, and PCs. As opposed to speakers, these headphones are easy to carry. In addition the Artemis Spectrum headsets offer both Dolby and DTS Headphone compatibility. With 7.1 surround sound, your gaming experience is heightened by creating a full-on gaming environment, which enhances movies - and mission critical to many types of games these days. Having correct spatial cognizance and being able to clearly hear the direction of subtle sounds can mean the difference between preventing a surprise gunman attack and losing the game. This is only my second, only, foray into the realms of gaming headsets, so I have no real baseline to judge them against (as my first set were rather basic fare). I have always used bog standard headsets for my gaming needs. However, Logitech's wired G633 Artemis Spectrum gaming headset has really been a game changer - no pun intended. The headset is well designed with easy to reach controls and the ability to change the colour of the LEDs on the set. I have found them comfortable to wear, although I am not one to play any one game for more than a couple of hours. So I cannot attest to how comfortable they are - after a really long gaming session. I really love the bass on these headphones and overall the sound fidelity is very good as you get the full on “immersed effect”. The surround sound effect is a surprising experience when you hear it for the first time. My only gripes are the overall design could have been more refined and certain types of music do not sound well through these headsets..

AUDIOMy first impression of these was "ok the audio is nice but I expected more". Then I downloaded Logitech software and noticed that the oudio was set on normal stereo instead of DTS. Gosh what a difference! This things are amazing!Playing games and listen to music is so delightful now! Also, Logitech software offer a good customization of lighting effects and it also recognizes popular games by itself and gives you some preset effects for those. Also, the G buttons are a great feature!MICGot to say that the mic is the worse part of the whole headset, but I was getting litterally furious over it since it had A LOT of white noise/buzzing and friends online had the impression I was speaking through a metal tin. This seems to be related with a Microsoft update, and got to say that is a shame that Logitech hasn't updated his product over it, yet.IF YOU ARE FACING THE SAME PROBLEM:-right click on the sound icon on the lower right end of the start bar;-click on "sound";-go to the "recording" panel;-select the g633 mic and right click on it;-select "properties";-go to the "advanced" properties panel;Your mic quality is probably set to 8000Hz which is the lower. That's the problem! Put it up to 48000Hz (DVD quality), save changes and enjoy! It won't be the best mic of history but I think you can live with that even if you're a streamer of some sort.

This was an excellent buy especially as I got it through a lightning deal at a really nice price. Sound quality is excellent and it really is mind blowing. The volume seemed a little low at first which got me worried as all the bars were set on the highest level. I went into control panel and just moved the volume bar down to low and back to where it was. This sorted it out straight away. No issues since. The max volume may be an issue for some people who like their audio extra loud as it's fine but it's never going to be deafening.I found the ear pads not being leather a little disappointing as the leather on my previous headphones just feels nicer to touch that the synthetic material used here. However that said these are extremely comfortable and stay that way however long you wear them.I'm not sure what the deal with the lighting is. I thought it would be very annoying as you'd be able to see them constantly in your peripheral vision. This is happily not the case and you won't even know they are there. As an adult and not an angry gamer teen, it might be funny someone coming across you sat there with lights pulsing on the sides of your head but it's a sacrifice I can make as these are awesome. All in all an excellent buy!

Very good , the 7,1 very noticeable in battlifiled 1 and 5If playing wither 3 use Logitech g hub to change from Dolby to DTS and change to ultrawide it sound amazing. The rgb is good if only buying for rgb it wouldn't be selling point although Is customimble (honestly prefer it on staic mode or off)ConsBigger than normal headphonesSays for phones but you wouldn't really use these on phones , even though you can , if wanted use on phones for daily user (buy a separate pare earphones or headphones)As these would be just to big for causal everyday use such as walkingOverallIf your a gamer or if looking for greet sound quillity on PC I would buy them , Im also a music producer and these are very adjapatable to the DAW you are using .The mic is very good . Wired version is the way to go, upgraded from the Corsair Vengeance Series, The RGB is neither here nor there and is only included because of the current RGB lighting fad the community is going through, although the RGB lighting is a good indicator for my family and roomates to know if I'm busy recording/streaming/talking to people just by looking, rather than having to potentially disturb me, sound quality is pretty darn good, out of the box they're alright but I did a little tweaking with the EQ and surround sound settings. The Mic quality was something that worried me as many reviews that I had watched online all had abysmal mic quality, but Youtube compresses audio, but testing it myself over Streams and recordings, even chatting in Discord took my worries away as my friends could hear me crisp and much more clear than with my previous Corsair Vengeance.Definitely worth the upgrade, but be cautious, you're paying for a good quality headset but with the price hike of the RGB lighting, so buy them when they're on offer like I did.Don't go wireless, stick to wired, much more reliable.

Another Logitech product I bought due to already owning the G502 mouse. This was another Black Friday offer that I could not refuse. I had wanted this for a while and had seen many reviews before purchase. I was originally using the Hyper X Cloud II which for the price is a great headset. But this one is even better. The sound quality is brilliant and the Dolby and Surround works really well. The bass is really good in this headset and the low and mid are crystal clear. I still use the Hyper X on my 2nd PC and my friends always know when I am on that one as they say the microphone on the Logitech is so much better. If you already have Logitech gaming peripherals you will no doubt use the software, and these can be set up in that software too, all your Logitech gear settings will be in the same place which is very handy. Lastly the ability to retract the mic is great as it mutes the mic at the same time which I find makes a massive difference compared to my other headset that has a control box you need to fiddle around with to mute the mic.I highly recommend this headset for any gamer.

Very good headset, I have been using this headset for over a year now and I see that it is very good it has not cracked and none of the padding pealed off yet, it has fallen off my desk many times because of the wire being 3 meters long. The wire is a plus and minus, I can walk around my room with the headset on my head but I sometimes entangle my feet in the wire, but I prefer it being longer than short.Discord is a weird one, Im unsure if it is discord of my headset not picking up my voice sometimes when I sometimes say only one word replies, the mic is definitely better than some more expensive ones, my friend has a headset over 200 and their mic just has a static attack sometimes, the mic on this headset is great except when saying one work replies. The ear pieces did bend a little bit but that's dude to my glasses, at the start when I wore the headset with glasses it hurt my ears a little bit but as I wore it more my glasses made a dent in the ear piece and it is prefect now.

I've used many Logitech mice and keyboards and always associate the company with high quality, though this is the first time I've tried a Logitech headset. The G633 Artemis Spectrum Pro Gaming Headset is certainly very impressive looking and has the sort of sleek looks you'd expect for something designed for gaming. The headset is cushioned and adjustable and very comfortable when put on, staying firmly in place. This is actually the first time I've used a 7.1 surround sound headset and I was very curious as to whether real surround sound can actually be re-produced with headphones. I have to say I was blown away by the quality of the audio, very clear and crisp and when turned up to high volumes it was still clean with great clarity.Better still, the surround sound effect is awesome and really takes gaming and movie watching to the next level in terms of audio, in fact I now prefer using the headset to my desktop speakers, very impressed.

5 / 5 if you're getting these mainly for PC, 3/5 if you're getting them for consoleI use these mainly for PS4 and they're pretty good, I only tend to use the USB connector, but have tested the 3.5m jack also, this seems fine too.sadly no surround sound for consoles! gah! it feels a couple of steps down from my turtle beach PX5, but they were phenomenal, so that isnt a criticism, and for the price I couldnt expect much more.Using these on PC, so so much better, the surround is spot on, amazing value for the price and i'd put them just under headsets that cost twice the money. They look sick a/fcomfortable a/fi think i a spider must have gotten into my protein shaker cause i just had a gulp, but vommed a little when i felt something at the back of my throat and now i'm scraping spider legs off my tonguepoor little bugger got shaken / protien'd to death.... a/f...rest in spaghettinever forgetti

I admit to having no experience of Gaming headsets prior to using the G633, but I am quite fussy about sound quality for movies and music and I'll apply the same critical ear to this headset review. The first thing that struck me about the G633 was how heavy it was upon removing it from its (very high quality) packaging. I was concerned that this would make it uncomfortable to wear over a long period, but these concerns were proved wrong. The second thing I noticed was how low-grade the plastic felt - for a premium product, I would expect the 'phones to use higher quality materials. Nonetheless, the bits that are in contact with the user - the cups and headband - do feel nice enough,so perhaps I'm being nitpicky. The 'phones don't feel like they'd break necessarily, but they just don't ooze quality like, for example, a good pair of B&W stereo 'phones
