Embarrasingly, this has to be one of my favourite possessions. I have it on the wall in my utility room and have used it for almost 2 years now with no signs of it weakening or deforming in any way. It comes with two screws which were absolutely too short for the job and my husband replaced them for some much longer, more robust ones. We have it screwed into an external wall. Other than that, I have found it a great size. I can hang a large man's t-shirt plus a smaller item e.g. a medium sized woman's skinny t-shirt on one section, so it can hold quite a lot. I tend to use it for bigger adult tops and other long items like dresses, but I avoid hanging heavy jeans on it. It could probably cope fine with them, but I feel like it make cause sagging with time, so I hang them elsewhere. I couldn't be happier with this item and love that it folds away against the wall so discreetly when not in use.You open out both arms and then pull out the rack. The arms extend 53cm from the base.

being a bit OCD I over research before any purchase, then end up torn as cant find anything that covers everything I want. Not with this. I bought 2 x the largest ones and mounted side by side along my back alleyway under a canopy so I m not having laundry on a horse around the house. Main benefits to me:* folds almost flat so not always out and ugly or in the way* each rail slide independently (not overtaking the ones before and after), so as I remove dried items I just slide that bar along to reduce the projection* If I want to walk under the lines without whacking the dangling clothes (eg getting the bikes out), I temporarily slide the lines in with clothes on them, then pull back out after* easy for 1 person to put up

I chose this towel rail because I had space problems - small rooms, lots of furniture. It was an excellent choice! It works very well, and my house looks more organized, now. It also looks good, although a bit fragile (I will be careful and hope it lasts years).Update (27 Mar 2019): Rectifying what I wrote above, this clothes dryer is very sturdy and durable! It is now 5 years old and it seems that it will last forever (I bought two more for my daughter and upstairs)! Additionally, I thought about its 'flimsiness' and concluded that it is what explains its sturdiness, like the flexible palm trees that resist cyclones (I have a degree in architectural engineering). Great design!

I used to have a concertina type dryer in my utility room, however this required constant moving about in order to get in and out of other appliances as it took up so much room. When I unpacked the Telegant I thought it looked very flimsy however this is not the case. The rails are solid although flexible and the drying space is surprisingly large. It is quite stylish even when it is in its extended position. I particularly like that when it is not in use I can fold it away quickly and simply and it is very unobtrusive. It only requires two screws and is easily fitted to the wall. I would have thought if you lived in a flat it would be a 'must buy'.

I was looking to replace one of my old clothes airier which was falling apart. As I wanted it for the small bedroom I though this was a great idea. When it came I had the option of putting it along a bare wall but it would stand out and look a bit of an eye sore OR mount it above the radiator under the window and but lose ability of using the back rail - which would be directly above the radiator. I plumed for above the radiator and although I've lost one line of space I can still get a full load onto the drier and it looks less conspicuous now. As mentioned previously it copes well with the weight of heavy items such as jeans and towels.

I got this for drying clothes in the kitchen instead of having a typical clothes hanger out in the room taking up space.Does the job very well. Seems a little flimsy because it has a fair amount of flex in it. This however is required or you would not be able to reach through the rails etc to hang things up.I have hung up heavy items such as jackets and damp jeans with no trouble. Hold more than you would think too and has a solid rail when folded up.Only real downside was the quality of the screws to attach it which were pretty cheap and easily stripped.Overall good item though.

My wife wanted an indoor airer/hanger in our utility room and she found this on Amazon. It's really quite big, as it's one metre wide and has 8 pull out hangers so it needs a reasonable sized area to fit. It's very simple to fix up, as all you need to do is drill two holes, use the supplied wall plus and screws then affix the to them. It mainly gets used to hang ironing on, but we do use it to hang wet clothes on when it's wet outside. It's pretty good to be honest, but it does feel a bit flimsy (even though it's been up for four months and has been perfectly fine).

I purchased this while my Washing machine was out of order and I waited 3 weeks to get is sorted. I was hand washing the clothing but couldn't spin it and couldn't dry sopping wet clothes on a radiator. It is very strong with plenty of room on the multi rails, I have it fixed to the wall at the back of the bath so drip drying wet clothes was easy and stress free. Have recommended it to family and friends. It is neat when closed away . Definitly 10/10 but be careful when ordering as there are 2 models with one having a much shorter length of drying rails.

The product works well, is neat and tidy, once you have it up properly. Because of the design, there is a weight distribution on only two screws, which if attached to a dry/plasterboard wall puts a lot of pressure on the fixings. The rawl plugs and threaded screws provided are poor quality and the instructions to drill 8mm holes is incorrect. We used spring toggle cavity fixings and these have held the product up well. Rawl plugs and other fixings were unable to hold the product in place, even with light clothing.

A washing line indoors. Bags of room for aged Dad to hang up his bits of washing to dry in the bathroom. Folds away to an unobtrusive box on the wall with a handy towel rail underneath. This was a replacement for an older (20 years) Leifheit one that had started to fall apart. The new one is not quite as sturdy as the original but still plenty strong enough to do the job. As a bonus, Leifheit had placed the fixing holes were in the same place as the old one therefore no drilling was needed in this instance.

I've been using this and the smaller 70cm one for about 2 months and have installed them one above the other. Easy to put up. Folds away easily and neatly. Holds a large amount of washing and spacing between rails allows good drying. Much better than freestanding clothes horses which jam your fingers on closing and can be accessed by children allowing them to pull off the clothes and get tangled. Seems to be sturdy but need to carefully feed through heavy big items like jeans not just yank. Recommend.

Had ours for 4 years and it's been faultless. Used every day for all manner of laundry & couldn't manage with without it. We have it fixed in a utility room over a radiator, so is super fast drying the items. One tip is to place the heavier items nearer the wall (common sense I know!) to take the strain off the fixings, but it's well built so could probably cope with most things including wet jeans, if you can get a good fix to a solid wall. Highly recommended.

This is a great product! Ordered it so I could save on space in my Tilly room (only had fclothes horse which took up floor space) and boy does it do the job. We are a family of four with two teenagers so it gets plenty of use and is holding its own brilliantly. I can get lots on and tend to use pegs rather than draping clothes over the wires as it saves space. My husband mounted it quite high (over the radiator) so it doesn't get in the way when walking past.

Hurray!!! I can finally get rid of my clothes rail which is taking up lots of space and looking unsightlyThis rail is very sturdy, hardly takes up any space and you can get quite a lot of washing on itWe have ours hanging over the banisters of our stairwell, so it's not in anyone's way at all and the washing dries very very quickly as heat rises and we have a three-storey homeI'm sure this will last for years and I would recommend it to anybody.

Great idea for space saving. Have used this for the past few days. My only fault with it is that when we push the 8 rails back in to close it all up they don't all clip back in flush and there is a bit of pushing/lifting to get them to line up so that the two side flaps can be closed. Minor issue and a great space saving design for a great price. Argos sell this for over twice the price.
