No UK plug. This was not clear from the description, despite ordering it from Amazon.co.uk. Also now manufactured in Mexico and not Germany unlike earlier Irons, so too early to tell if it is being built to the same standards as before. I will know in a couple of years. Why not be open about this? When it was built in Germany the fact was plastered all over the front of the unit. If there is nothing wrong with building in Mexico you should be just as proud of the fact. If you are building there to reduce costs, then you should reduce the retail price as well.
