This was bought as a gift for my daughter who has two teenagers who love paella which she was making in two large frying pans and generally making a mess of the top of the cooker. I live in the paella area of Spain so I am used to people using paella pans (but not non stick) over special gas burners or over wood fires so I thought that this pan might help her in the UK. I was not sure how this would work out on an ordinary electric cooker though so half expected her to tell me that I had gone mad. When it arrived she contacted me and said that it was ridiculously large so I assured her that it was not and that she would find that her paella would be much better and that she would find that she made far less mess.

I bought this pan to make err. . .Paella!Upon arrival in a comically massive box it was exactly what I wanted.A great size at 46cm, so you could cook enough for 6-8 hungry people in this I would say. It has the dimpled base to ensure heat is evenly distributed across the pan/food. Really well made riveted handles mean you can carry it full of food safely as it has a good balance to it say if you wanted to carry the finished product outside to the table. Non stick coated so I use silicone kitchen utensils only so as not to scratch the pan.In use it is the business in my opinion. I love cooking and have used loads of different pans and for its purpose this is a cracking pan!

It's a great paella pan. Put paella ingredients in, paella comes out.So far, so good.The one small niggle is with the heat distribution. For me the only way of heating this is to use the fish grill, which is long and thin, but covers the whole centre third of the pan, however there is almost no heat distribution to the remaining parts of the pan, needing much stirring, or rotating of the pan. So 4 stars from me, 1 more if they improved the heat distribution, which is going to be worse on a normal single ring (as only the middle 6" of the pan would be hot)

Rissoto/paella/pilaf hybrids for a family of 5 in one pan. Just cook on the wok burner and keep stiring - and then take the pan to the table and let everyone dig in.Even with the big wok burner it does bend up a little in the middle and doesn't get as hot at the edges - and if it was any bigger you couldn't use it on our cooker (which is a big un) - but as long as you keep your food moving its great fun - and looks impressive.really good quality non stick coating - but a bit too big for the sink (and we also have a big butler sink)

I absolutely love this pan. Only used 3 times so far and it still looks as new... I've oiled it for when it's stored so hopefully that'll stop it getting affected by rust. Word of warning though, it's absolutely massive and when I use it, I centre it on my wok burner hob and then turn all 4 other hobs on low to ensure heat distribution. If you didn't have a huge hob, you'd struggle tbh.

I'm not new to cooking up a Paella but this is the first proper Paella pan I've owned and wow! what a difference it makes to the cooking experience. This is the ideal size for 2 greedy Paella lovers or 3 average Paella lovers. The nonstick is as advertised, truly nonstick. It is also extremely easy to clean, no scowering required. Can't recommend this Kitchen Craft pan highly enough,

Firstly this product is amazing value for money. It's easy to clean, and transfers heat fairly well.The only down side is that the pan does distort slightly whilst over the hob (slight bulges where there is direct heat) Nothing drastic, but I guess it's cheap and cheerful and being a thin gauge metal I would expect this.Far exceeded my expectations for the price.

This product was just what i was looking for and the price was very reasonable, i cooked my very first paella and it was 1st class, Had some burnt bits of rice on the pan which is normal but it came off after a quick soak with washing up liquid delivery was quick also would certainly reccomand this to anyone.

Good product very reasonably priced. Just one slight problem, the middle of the pan is slightly higher than the outer portion meaning the cooking oil gathers around the edge. This was rectified easily using a rubber mallet to correct the bulge, but this should have been picked up by Quality Control

Great pan and looks really nice. Easy to use and clean. I made the mistake of putting too much into the pan so found it hard to cook all the parts of my paella properly but not the fault of the product.This arrived really quickly and was very well packaged.

Have thought about buying a paella pan in the past but cost put me off. Bought this in January sale. Used once and paella turned out well. Not so much 'crust' on the bottom which my son was disappointed about - will see what not stirring next time achieves.

we have a 5 burner range so this pan can be fitted using a combination of burners, the non stick quality is OK but time will tell if this scratches. The size means feeding many, this is not good for small quantity - I guess the number of servings is 4 plus.

Arrived within a few days. Did not mind the delay as do not intend to use it until we get some actual sunshire for Garden Spanish evening! But impressed by the quality and much much less expensive than similar goods in local store.

Very impressed. It is an excellent size for a 500 gram paella mix. I cooked it on top of the gas stove with 3 of the hobs on. You need to keep it moving, however the finished result was crispy rice and it didn't stick.

Really pleased with this pan good quality but I wish I'd bought a slightly bigger one.Great size for 2/3 people, but any more than 3 it's a no no.Would recommend the quality of this pan, but a bit on the small side
