Written by a nine year old year 5 boy:Ok I have not played this, but I watched A LOT of videos, first the all bosses video but anyway. The game is short and (mostly) easy but the final boss is REALLY strong (of course) and has 7 PHASES, that's more than Dark Mind From a different game. All of Kirby's abilities are good but my fav is Stone because I can beat any boss easily:D. In Kirby Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot and Adventure Wii/ Return to dream land there are harder versions of bosses, but in KSA there are no harder versions of bosses, instead all-new bosses like Yggy Woods and (spoiler alert) Void Soul. The best bit of the game is Kirby's friend heart move, press X to throw a heart to make friends with an enemy (easter egg: in the King Dedede, Meta Knight, Wispy Woods and Pon & Con fights, after defeating them friend heart them and King Dedede and Meta Knight will become dream friends but not the other two, instead something else will happen!) This is a spoiler easter egg: in The Wispy woods boss level go to Wispy but instead of fighting him go all the way back to the start and Fly up the tree at the start and there will be a door there leading to secret HAL room, plus if you fly up the wall instead of go in through the boss door you can fight Wispy With the Friend Star!!!!!!!!! This is a short but fun, cute and great game.

+ Classic Kirby: if you have played any previous Kirby game this will feel very familiar for you.+ Friends: being able to turn enemies into friends to help you out and give you alternative abilities to bust out on your foes is great+ New abilities to mess around with and solve puzzles.+ Puzzle pieces to find on every level make replaying levels fun+ Despite not being able to test out the co-op yet it's a very welcome edition to the franchise+ Friend palace: after beating them you get to recruit Meta Knight and King Dedede to your team of friends- Although there are some mini games to play after the main story they are not enough to pad the game out; the games longevity is very short and thusnot worth the price it is currently at (£30 would definitely be more reasonable).- This isn't necessarily a bad thing but the boss fights felt very easy compared to previous Kirby bosses (this is probably a plus for kids, but as a 22yo who grew up playing really hard Kirby games it made the game feel a lot shorter).- Sometimes your in game friends will destroy enemies whose ability you wanted to use; you can get around this by running away so that the enemy can respawn.

Another great title on the Nintendo switch. Its Kirby's turn to go full HD and boy is this a pretty game. Just so colourful and full of charm. Each level really pops and has its own aesthetic. The gameplay here is like any other Kirby game. Particularly the 3ds games. But it even draws from the wii game with the four player options as well as buddy riding from dreamland 2 as well as combining powers like the n64 title. Basically its alot of different Kirby mechanics coming together in one game.On one hand this is great as it feels like a complete experience mechanically. But on the other their is very little new here. On top of the simple level designs unfortunately stops this from being a definitive experience, especially if you have played Kirby games of past. But saying that this is still fun. If this is your first Kirby game then your in for a wonderful, colourful, bouncy and adorable game. For veterans like myself I find it feels a bit stagnant and would like to see a more developed and unique experience.

An absolute joy to play. Kirby’s 1st Switch outing is also the 1st first part 2D platformer on the Nintendo Switch, and boy, does it deliver. The levels are expertly designed, not surprising considering Nintendo’s finesse in the genre. HAL laboratories, the 2nd party study set up by former president Mr. Iwata - san, who are responsible for development have really nailed the sheer fun of a Kirby game. The game runs from between 6-10 hours, which while may be deemed short by some, is a constant barrage of laughs, especially when played in local co op. Seriously, gather a few friends and play this game together, you’ll have an absolute blast. The only reason that I gave only given this title 4 starts is due to the very low difficulty level. There is no spike, it’s constantly very easy. Which is fine, and I understand, with the demographic being families and young kids. Even so, I finished the game with 91 lives collected.

I liked this game because there is lots of stages with lots of secret items to collect. You can befriend certain enemies by throwing hearts at them. You can swallow enemies and friends to get their powers. You can activate special friend abilities and use the powers of your friends to add their power to you weapon. There is also boss battles and bonus stages you can unlock by pressing big switches in main stages, as well as a goal game minigame after completing each stage. By collecting puzzle pieces, you can complete puzzles. There is also dream castles, where you can summon bosses you have beaten as well as characters from other kirby games to be your allies.

This game has a variety of different modes to play in. The amount of combinations and different characters attacks is unreal. I found it to be so fun and cute. I was disappointed I finished it quite early. But by finishing the game its opened 3 new game modes to play in which is pretty cool- I enjoyed the surprise game modes once i finished the game. Its a fun, cute little game to play if you don't want to delve too deep into a proper game mode, the different levels are quite quick to play

Kirby Star Allies is great fun, it's bright, colorful and upbeat. Play with three of your friends locally, which is perfect as not a lot of games are co-op now days but with this all four of you can chill on a sofa and go through the whole story together. You all can swap abilities & change characters. You can change the elements of weapons by getting your friends to use their abilities on them. If you don't have friends local then you can have 3 other CPU characters play alongside you

This game is incredibly gorgeous and looks great in handheld and when docked. Playing this game solo is fun and not annoying since the allies are really smart they understand what they need to do in each situation, but the absolute gem of this game is the multiplayer. Playing this game with someone else is so much fun! It is a tad on the easy side but if you are looking to have fun rather than challenge yourself I would definitely pick this up.

This is another excellent instalment of Kirby and his first outing on the switch and it is glorious! Wonderful graphics, captivating music, and the gameplay is simple and easy but still has its challenges! I cannot recommend this game highly enough. Sure, don't overpay for it! I had to search quite a few different shops to find this gem! This puts a smile on my face whenever I play it. more kirby please!

I'll keep this short and sweet, I like buying the Games that Nintendo develop with their main characters in as those titles seem to hold there value and never drop in price. This is a side scrolling plat-former with bright candy coloured visuals and adorable characters, obviously there is no real challenge for anyone over 5 but a good game to have in your collection, expensive for what it is.

Great little game, fun and family friendly. It's not massively difficult (with the notable exception of the final boss). This is Not a completionist game. It has "secrets" that are easy enough to find and feels like a game you can actually Finish once you beat all the levels. For some this means limited replay value, for me, it means I can move on, satisfied I beat it!

I was in a sainsburys, that in-store argos didn't have it in stock so I reserved it for immediate pick up at another store I was passing whiteout and about, easy, peasy. My boys love it, I know nothing about it but it keeps them occupied for a while and it can be a 4 player game which means they can play with friends when they come over as well. Win win.

It's a great update on the classic Kirby game with new innovations and powers. The graphics are beautiful and it's really fun platforming action. I do often prefer to play without 2-4 other characters interfering and getting in my way but they are needed for some parts of the game. The game is rather easy though. At least it's not frustratingly difficult!

My husband hasn't put this down since I got him it for Christmas. He played Kirby when he was young but never actually owned one of the games until now, so the lack of new mechanics is no problem for him.It would be good for any age upward of 6ish. I haven't played it yet but my husband can't put it down so I'd say that's worthy of 5 stars lol!

Bought this game for my 7 year old who has been wanting this game for a while. He absolutely loved the game and was able to complete levels etc without any help. Made a lovely end of school year well done treat. Had to order this game into my local store and was delighted when it was made available before the original date I was given! :-)
