Bought this kitchen for my little Daughter and its a really lovely toy! Firstly it arrives flat pack.. it took me about 2.5 hours to assemble but the instructions were very straight forward and everything is numbered. The kitchen looks amazing, adults love it (not that its for us!) and children of all ages instantly want to play with it. Its very durable and will last us for years hopefully. The only downside i would say is that the kicthen sink becomes loose and is easy to pull out and this was the first thing my Daughter did! (Annoying!) however now she realises its more fun not to pull it out she doesnt.. Also the catches inside the cupboards make them very hard to open,

An absolutely beautiful kitchen, so well made and although it took a while. (just over 2 hours) it was easy to put together. Once constructed it is very stable and I wouldn't agree with a couple of reviews I read saying this was not the case or the door catches were not secure as the ones on our kitchen were fine.My daughter loved it from the moment she opened it and has played with it daily ever since.Although it is an expensive item compared to other play kitchens, especially plastic alternatives, after shopping around and reading many reviews, I believe this will be far more durable and last much longer, as well as looking far more attractive than any other in the market,

First time I used amazon was to order my daughters kidkraft play kitchen, after reading reviews on ebay where by the looks of it, the sellers buy it off here, as some feedback coincide with the out of stock availability on these leaving many children let down. I was a bit nervous about getting it, and I am so glad to say it turned up the very next day as amazon stated it would! I now don't bother with ebay and have been buying off amazon ever since. The kitchen was very very well packaged, no missing parts, all screws and fittings there and amazing instructions. So worth the money! looks fab can't wait to start playing with it with my daughter. I'd recommend this kitchen for toddlers,

Arrived promptly. Took some time to build but clear enough instructions without too much bother. Got to say I managed the construction all by myself! Once built it's a lovely looking little kitchen and just the right size. I bought this for my 14 month old daughter who already loves it. Not even walking yet but she cruises around it and reaches into all the different sections. Even make believes her cooking skills! I have it in my living room as it's a real talking point amongst family and friends. Sturdy and a good size, my little one is likely to have many years of fun with this beauty. The red colour is as vibrant as the picture and I really cannot express how cute it is.

Just finished putting this kitchen together over a couple of nights, took 3 hours in total.The finished product is very sturdy & I am sure my daughter will love it!For any parents putting this together (Especially on Christmas eve) watch out for the leg screws on step 17 (Screw H with leg 32)The plastic foot has not been tapped & the screw is very long so it gets stuck half way through tightening them.After having to use pipe grips to try & free it, my fix was to cut the screws down with a hack saw (Leaving only 4 threads visible) & it screwed on very well.The other step to watch out for is Step 12 (Door 37 with Hinges Q)

This one has a lot of positives, but asssembly will take some time. The instruction set shows how to assemble, but it will be nicer to have some label showing up/down , left/right , front/back for easier orientation. I had to check the hole positions on the booklet in order to verify the direction of a module.Still, I'm quite positive on this one and thankfully the manufacturer has provided spare bolts/nuts/etc in case you loose 1-2 pieces.If you have the option to call someone to assemble it - don't hesitate to do it.It took me around 3 hours (I was going slow) to 'fight' with the instructions ,

Ordered this as a Christmas present for our grandaughter and she loves it. Well made and built to last but I do think the door closing clips are a bit strong for a toddler in particular the microwave door. She found this catch quite difficult to pull open and being high up it was causing the kitchen to topple forwards. I know there is a kit that you can attach the kitchen to a wall but it was easier just to leave the closing clip unattached. Maybe a magnetic strip would have been better. Only other thing I would comment on is get someone to help and give yourself a good couple of hours to put it together.

I recently purchased this kitchen for my daughter for her 2nd birthday and she LOVES it! It is so cute and stylish and she just looks adorable in her 50's skirt cooking up a batch of cookies :) The whole thing is really well built and the instructions are clear with all parts very well labelled. It took me 2.5 hours to put together but this was prior to my morning coffee and I am far from a handy woman! You need to be careful of the paint when putting it together as it scratches easily which is the only downside, however as I had been warned of this I was careful and only ended up with one small mark that you can hardly notice. Melissa and Doug red accessories go very well with it. Enjoy :)

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Disappointed for a few reasons. 1) A week after I purchased it, it went on sale, Amazon refused to refund me the difference although I could return it (at their cost) have it refunded and purchase again at the lower cost. To me this goes against their sustainability pledge but whatever. 2) You can also see from the photos, some of the panels didn't line up exactly, there were (small) scratches on the front of the fridge and I don't know if you can tell but the fridge front panel is a darker red than the rest of the kitchen. Ultimately my daughter won't care bout these and these issues don't change the functionality of the kitchen.

Overall v good quality. Just a few niggly chips on edges etc... On the whole tho that's me being picky as my daughter loves it too bits. The smile on her face forgives anything. Instructions for assembly are excellent, but don't get cocky read everything as there are subtle differences . Took me about 2hrs to build but I do know one end from the other of a screwdriver. Get some help if you don't as the odd slip could see you easily damaging something. Lovely product when finished so worth it. So much better than the plastic rubbish otherwise available. Comes with spare bits n bobs aswel in case you lose em in the carpet lol. All bases covered , Enjoy

My son has just received his kitchen as part of an early Christmas and he absolutely loves it. I built it myself over 2 nights and in total took 5 hours. The only problem I encountered was the screws to put the feet on. All 4 of mines got stuck with quite a bit left to go. I had to remove them with a vice grip and use proper screws instead. These went in a lot easier and it is still very sturdy. Amazon offered to replace the full kitchen when I explained my problem but I had spent 3 hours assembling the kitchen before I got stuck with the screws. Me and my son are very happy with our purchase. I just wanted to highlight the feet problem .

This is a solid play kitchen for a child. It is fairly sturdy when properly constructed and I do like that it comes with a wall anchor for safety. The parts are okay quality, though I do believe they'll stand up to use over the long term so long as a child isn't overly energetic about using them. My only complaint with is is that the interiors do not really resemble the kitchen items they are meant to (the oven and refrigerator simply have solid wood panels painted the color of the kitchen rather than looking like an oven rack). This is a minor complaint and not one worth knocking a star off.We are very happy with this purchase.

I was very weary about ordering online, but decided to go for it as the product was cheaper than in store and in the color I wanted. The kitchen was delivered quickly, the instructions were very easy to follow although it did take some time to put together due to so many parts but like I said very easy. Once together I was in love with the kitchen. The only downfall to this kitchen is the front edges near the hobs and sink can chip quite easy and be careful not to let your kids get hold of any bathroom products as it stains the paint. Overall I think the kitchen was brilliant and am very happy.

We brought our daughter a fairy cheap plastic kitchen for Christmas 2012 so i was a little reluctant to buy another one for her when my partner suggested getting her another one for he birthday in April but since i have opened the box and assembled it i can say with 100% confidence that this kitchen was well worth the money. From opening the box you can see this is a quality item and should last a good couple of years of toddler abuse. The instructions were easy to follow and it was packed nicely. The only downfall was that it took 2 hours to build it but looks great now its up and ready.

Bought this for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. It looks exactly as the picture. It took me about 4 hours to construct myself but when you see the finished product it was worth it. My granddaughter absolutely loves it and is now always cooking and using the phone to call her "friends". It is very sturdy not like some of the other flimsy ones that are around. My daughter and son-in-law were so impressed with it that they have purchased one for her Christmas to use in their own house. It is so realistic and definitely glad I bought it. Oneof the best things I have bought.
