I chose this play kitchen as I didn't want anything too big nor did I want anything to garish in terms of colour. I was also looking for something that didn't have 'stickers' representing knobs, food in the oven, utensils on the shelves, etc. This item ticked all boxes for me.The neutral colour scheme means it should work perfectly in any child's room and because it is easy on the eye it doesn't look too bad in my sitting room.A downside is that you have to construct it yourself, which on opening the box and pulling out a myriad of parts seemed like a daunting task! However, the instructions were really, REALLY easy to follow,

I have never had to assemble anything with such horrific assembly instructions! Most pieces have little stickers on with the part numbers on them, however, some stickers are on the wrong parts (!!!) and many of the parts look nothing like the ones in the assembly manual. Moreover, the instruction booklet often does not tell you which way 'round the items need to be, and some of the screws are labelled identically, which means it ends up being guesswork, which of the two F type screws you are meant to use at any one time.The kitchen is pretty, but it came with a few chips and a missing part. I have contacted Kidkraft about the missing part and so far their response has been far from great.

Absolutely gobsmacked by the quality of this kitchen. The quality, attention to detail, everything is wonderful about it. The moving parts are fantastic and work beautifully. It's the perfect size for our daughter's outdoor playhouse, but it would look equally wonderful indoors (we even considered putting it in her room just to show it off to guests!). For assembly - the kitchen has 31 steps, and it took me a couple of hours to put together. Everything was pre-drilled and easy to assemble except for the two plastic hobs and silver plastic drying rack - the holes were flat and the screws were flat, so we had trouble getting the screws started.

Me and the Wife absolutely love this kitchen, it looks even better in real life, and not one bit does it look cheap. We ordered Sat AM for delivery Sunday AM and the delivery driver arrived nice and early.It takes a good hour or so t put together and the instructions are really straight forward and easy to follow.My only 2 complaints are that it was a tiny tiny bit damaged, under the work top which holds the sink, oven hobs etc there is a block of wood at each end which enables you to secure the work top to the base. The holes that are used for the screws to fasten the blocks were damaged therefore would not grip the screws so it is only fastened on one side (more than secure,

I chose this for my daughter's 3rd birthday. It is sturdy and adorable and any child would love it. She was thrilled when she got it and plays with it constantly. Amazon price and delivery was very good, as usual.Just a few comments to consider:1. The color is not white, as it appears on amazon, but very off-white almost pale yellow. The kidkraft website however portrays this accurately.2. It is not wood but MDF (which I suppose is technically wood) and the pink handles are kind of a cheap looking plastic (but sturdy).3. It was smaller than I expected in the sense that the oven is very narrow. The height is fine for a 2-4 year old but it is lower than other kitchens, such as the Ikea one,

We have brought this kitchen for my 2 yr old, she has been playing with a plastic one round her Nan's house and loves making us cups of tea and opening and shutting the doors so we thought this would be a good purchase.The kitchen was ordered on Friday and it arrived on Tuesday earlier than expected. The product was very well packed and protected, the hardware was clearly labelled and came with spares which is alway handy.The instructions were easy to follow, there was a few errors on the item list which didn't match but to be honest it wouldn't take a genius to figure out what was what!It is a great size for us as we wanted a kitchen to fit in her playroom without taking over the room.We

A lovely little kitchen and perfect for any little girl. We had to return the first one as there were a number of problems with it. The oven door wouldnt stay on as the pre-drilled holes were too large so the screws wouldnt stay in. One piece was missing the pre-drilled holes altogether and trying to screw into the wood resulted in distorting the whole kitchen out of shape. The customer service was good although they initally said they would send replacement parts so I gave them a list of the parts that needed to be replaced and different pieces turned up! In the end they sent out a brand new kitchen and were very helpful so overall ended up with a happy customer.

This is a fantastic toy! Before we bought this my daughter was often bored with her current toys and starting to develop a unhealthy interest in the Tv.I love the way the kitchen has really inspired her imagination and she is often playing for a couple of hours after nursery and role playing with her other dolls in various scenarios copying her mum.Though a little more expensive than the other kitchens out there it is worth the money especially as it does have a great build quality and looks and feels the part. We previously bought a plastic one for a third of the price that soon feel apart so worth the extra investment in the long run.Only complaint is that it does not come with any accessories

This kitchen looks lovely and is ideal for gentle children, Within 10 minutes of playing with it a little boy opened the door of the ovenassuming it went right back and it did - right off it's hinges!!! Kidkraft did send a replacement door and hinges in a couple of weeks with no charge but for a couple of pence more they could have put on hinges that opened fully rather than to 90degrees which is asking for trouble with children. It was easy to put together but did take a while so allow at least an hour (I speeded up once my husband got me an electric screwdriver as the tool provided is very slow to use and hurts your fingers!) We do love it and get lots of pleasure from playing with it.

I decided to buy this kitchen when the secondhand one I was bidding on ebay for became more expensive than new!! Crazy. I am so happy with this kitchen, it looks great and my children (3 & 1) love it. The package was missing a few parts which made me concerned as someone had mentioned customer service were awful. But I did not find this at all. Although a little frustrating not to have all the parts, just one phone call and email sorted the problem and I received the parts within 10 days - they do warn a 10-14 day shipping. Customer Service were so helpful and apologetic. Fingers crossed I can sell this in five years for more money than I paid for it!!

This is a fantastic product that will both delight your small person and monumentally piss off the poor bastard who draws the short straw and has to build it. My two and a half year old absolutely loves this and plays with it loads - the quality is good and it looks nice too. Instructions and parts are good but it is complicated and super fiddly to construct. My husband spent at least two hours swearing whilst building it and claims that it’s easier to put together an actual kitchen from B&Q - which is saying something. But it kept him out of my way for several hours, so it’s a five star review from me ?

This kitchen is really brilliant! We got it at a good price and our daughter adores it - she got it for her second birthday. We have teamed it with wooden pots and pans, with play food etc and it's perfect. Substantial and not flimsy - nearly a year on, nothing broken or cracked and looks as new.It loses one star simply because we found it an utter nightmare to put together! If you're not the handy type, find someone who is, ad don't leave it till bedtime the night before birthday/christmas and expect it to take 5 minutes. Once done, it's brilliant.

This is gorgeous!! I have a few little problems with it but it still scores a 5star rating because it is beautiful and i got it when it went down to 60 something pound which i thought was an excellent deal!1) The B screws that fit the gas rings, Me and friend could NOT get them to screw in properly the holes just weren't big enough2) It is slightly smaller than what it looks like3) some of the stickers that number the pieces had fallen off making it harder to decipher which piece was which.Don't let me put you off off purchasing this though!!

We are so pleased with this kitchen, we bought it for our little girl as her main Christmas present this year along with some of the bigjigs candy floss kitchen accessories (that match it perfectly in colour and size!!!) and she has not stopped playing with it all morning. The other reviews stated it takes about 2 hours to put together which is pretty accurate, but it was pretty straight forward and def worth it. Can not recommend the kitchen enough.... Worth every penny we payed for it!

We have purchased this wooden kitchen for our 18 month old twins. It's absolutely fantastic!Delivered promptly, all parts supplied, and my husband assembled it with ease. We'd recommend using the wall fixer supplied to guarantee there is not a chance of it toppling over (don't think it would... but better to be safe than sorry, hey?)We were keen to get this for them, albeit, before the recommended age range, but are delighted to say we'll have many years of fun with it!
