I bought this for my lil' cousin as her Christmas present and sent it directly to Spain. The postage cost is acceptable, but be aware that the price marked for the set is deceiving as they add VAT. Not sure if this would have happened, had I ordered it for delivery to the UK. Still, the total cost was around £22 which doesn't seem expensive for what you get. The items really look like small replicates of house appliances and will be lots of fun to play with. You can even put water on the coffee-maker and it has a little resort that let's it through into the pot - just like the real ones. This made my day :) Even my dad was impressed. I can't comment on the durability of the toy as it's not been played with yet,but it looks quite sturdy. I found it funny that the set is for two but there's only food for one. This is the only down point - but who cares? It's still a good present and come to think of it, it is educational, as it'll teach my cousin to share!ADDITION: after having seen the product in "real life" and having witnessed my cousin playing with it (ok, I was also playing) - it is very sturdy and a lot of fun! Better for the summer as you have a kid playing with water, but that just adds to the fun!Very good purchase :)

Very well made kitchen set. Bought this to go with a mini kitchen my 2 daughters (1 and 3) got for christmas.Comes very well packaged which is great if its going to be a gift for someone. The toys themsleves are well made and sturdy, no worries of them breaking anytime soon even when being bashed around by excited kids. The coffee maker is pretty cool, You put water in the top and then you put the coffee pot in which pushes a plunger up allowing the water to drain into the pot. The kids love playing with this. With the toaster you just push the lever down and after a few seconds it pops the toast up. The kettle just has a little lever for "turning it on" with removeable lid for filling up.Bonus is all 3 don't require batteries.Only disappointment is it only comes with 1 bacon, egg and sausage but two plates, cups, cutlety etc so things can get a bit heated when both kids want an egg. Wouldn't take a star off for that though. Highly recommend this little set. 5 stars!

I bought this last year for my daughters who are 2 and 4. They both love playing it and my 2 year old loves making me and her dad bacon on toast and cups of tea. It's very good quality and can see it lasting a long time. They have a 4 month old brother who I'm confident will get plenty of play from this too when he's old enough. You can push the button down on the toaster, like on a real one, and the toast will pop up. You can put real water into the coffee maker but I've not managed to find out how to do that yet. The kettle has a button that you can click on but I don't think it clicks off.Just be warned, we were potty training our 2 year old and she wasn't confident pooing on it yet. To my horror,I found what looked lile a turd next to the potty. Bless her, I thought but then to my relief realised it was the sausage! Try and keep this away from the potty :-)

I was asked to buy a tea set as a present for our great-niece who is 2 years old, but has an older sibling. I came across this breakfast set, and decided it was more pertinent to our way of living today. Not sure that we all do tea from teapots any more. More likely to put a tea bag or instant coffee into a cup and use a kettle. So it was nice to have a kettle in this set. Alternatively, the coffee machine, which has working parts is good for those of us who don't drink tea at all, but like a proper cup of brewed coffee. Those tea sets don't cater to us coffee drinkers! The pop up toaster was fun, and I liked that the whole thing was suitable for boys and girls. There's too much pink around for those tea sets,so was very happy that this is in non-gender-specific red. Mum and great niece were delighted too.

I’m really impressed with this little set considering what you get for the money. My 2 year old daughter loves it.The toast pops up in the toaster and you can filter water through the coffee machine, although I’ve yet to show my daughter that, for fear of ending up with the whole house soaked! The switch on the kettle flicks on and off and you can remove the lid.Everything is really nice quality and a good size. My little girl loves bringing me cups of tea and egg on toast! It’s a lovely addition to a toy kitchen, but equally I think this would be great to play with on its own. Would recommend 100% and I’d consider buying a second set as a gift.

The kettle and toaster are a little smaller than I had expected, however, I am still very pleased with this purchase. The quality is good and the items are quite realistic. The coffee machine is particularly realistic and cold water filters through from the container at the top into a little jug. The toast pops up on a timer. My two year old granddaughter finds it a little difficult to hold down the toaster with one hand whilst pressing the button to lower the toast with the other though. I would think it would be too small for children over the age of four. All in all, a well made, realistic and lovely toy for little hands. Would buy this again.

I'm very pleased with the quailty and scale of this set. Having had to return a Casdon toy pan set the day before for being low-quailty rubbish I decided to take a chance on these as they looked much better made and they are.The toaster, kettle and coffee maker are great. To be honest I could have done without the plates, cups, cutlery and food, they're a little more naff than the main items. I'm making my son play food with baked salt dough and felt and have purhcased a good set of stainless steel play cutlery that can also be used for real.Worth it for the main items alone. You might want to consider purchasing separate cups and plates etc.

Very, very happy with this purchase! It's a brilliant price for the quantity and quality that you're getting.. Can't say what my toddler think's yet as its part of her birthday present for next month. (She'll be two years old!)Everything seems to be sturdy, i've already had a play with all the items. They look fancy and very adult-like so my daughter will enjoy doing what mummy and daddy do, and hopefully i'll get lots of pretend tea in the mornings!Definitely recommend. It arrived before estimated too and well packaged, with everything inside individually wrapped. Cannot wait to see her face!

Lots of fun for the kids! These toy appliances provide hours of entertainment. Product quality is great, apart from the toaster. The relwase handle broke upon first use. Other than that they're a joy to play with. As they're made for kids, I thought I'd ask them to review this one for me. Here's their evaluation:"We love the toys. They're so much like real toaster and kettle, except we can't make food with them. I wish it made noises and had lights like mum's kettle."They had lots more to say, but I thought the above summarised their views. I'd highly recommend this set.Hope this helps!

This is a very neat little set. I bought it for my 2yr old son as I was looking for a tea set that was not too girlie for him and had a toaster that actually popped up. This was perfect. The items are only small, but well designed and functional. The percolator is a superb idea and actually decants the water from the top into the coffee pot underneath - but only when the coffee pot is in-situ (thank goodness). Despite the size of the set and the amount they have been used/thrown about/drowned in water, they are still going strong nearly 1yr later. I would highly recommend this product.

I got these to try and stop my son from trying to get to our kettle and toaster (he has an obsession with them) and it seems to have worked - the toaster actually pops up and love that you can put water in the coffee machine. The kettle switch doesn’t automatically flip (not sure if it’s meant to or not), but not really an issue. Also liked that it came with plates & cups and cutlery, plus a little dry up (!) as we didn’t have any of that before for the toy kitchen. Everything has taken quite a beating already and nothing is broken, so far so good.

My boy loves this set and it's a great addition to his play kitchen. The toaster pops up and the coffee machine percolates water into the jug, so can be used for water play too. The plates, cutlery and food are small but a nice size for ny 2.5 year old. The only negative is the spring mechanism in the coffee machine that depresses when the jug is put in was quite flimsy and easily bent out of shape. Overall, very happy with this set as it's a low price and has already provided hours of play in just a few days.

I moved into a new flat and needed some kitchenware so my sister recommended this, I ordered the set thinking that a coffee maker, toaster, kettle and accessories for such a low price was an absolute bargain so you can see how I was excited for them to arrive. The day comes and I am sadly let down, none of the products work or even have electric plugs, the coffee maker can only handle water drips, the kettle leaks, the toaster came with stale bread.Next time I think I will buy things individually.

This kitchen set looks like the real items, working toaster where play toast pops out, a kettle that can be filled with water and a play switch to pretend to turn on, the coffee maker can be filled with water and filters through to a coffee pot, the set also comes with 2 piece cutlery, crockery and play food. All packed in an attractive box. This was a present for a 2 year old and has played with this continuously with her play kitchen, well made and attractive. Well done Argos on a nice set

I ordered this set for my Nephew who turned 2 in April. He absolutely loves it and gets hours of play with it. It's well made and look really realistic which is good value for money. This is one of the best sets on the market for the money and for what you receive. The only downside (but it's not really) is that the toaster is very lively - it pops the toast up so quickly it shoots into the air and makes everyone jump. But it's not dangerous so don't let it put you off buying.
