Its incredible to think how many westerners have adopted anime so causally from young children to grown adults etc.I an 28 years old but grew up with Akira since the age if 4 and have followed Shonen Jump since the beginning. Had a bootleg Fist of the north star on VHS back then and just a month ago I watched Broly movie on the big screen.To me and I'm sure many others; its such a heartbreaking idea. To have All the animes/manga I grew up with all in one game (YES I'VE COMPLETED THEM ALL OR UP TO DATE) and get to share with other via online? F@#K MEMy team set up is Kenshin as lead along with Ken and Pegasus just so I can nake a statement that old school is pure muscle and strength lol.

Now I know that reviews are a personal opinion but I have to say I disagree with most of the negativity around this game. Graphics are amazing on my XBOX ONE X and the sound effects awesome. The fact you can create your own fighter and give them any 4 of a huge choice of special abilities as well as having 42 fighters straight away only adds to the enjoyment. Now this isn't the most in depth combo memorizing fighter out there and that's what in my opinion makes it fun to play as well as watch. The fact that myself (aged 48) can pull of some brilliant moves and also see my 9 year old do the same only adds to that Fun. Brilliant for anime fans and most of all Fun to play!

When i purchased this the guy told me "its not very good" but i dont care i get to play with Deku and Ichigo ? and boy im loving it i am RUBBISH at beat em ups but i dont care as this is so cool.Somone reviewed it with one star because its dubbed yes there is no option to have sub but i personally i wouldn't expect anything but dub as its a game made on characters from shonen jump which is made in Japan!...its no way near as much reading a person 5 ?

The game is great especially the fighting combos, the moves and the awakenings which are made in a very cool looking way.The graphic is a 10/10 in my opinion The story mode idea is great however it could have been improved in terms of cut scenes.The cac should have awakenings too in my opinion and this should be based on the fighting style you choose at the start of the game (Saiyan,pirate,ninja)they should add more

One of my favourite game of ever. I'm not a big fan of fighting games but this one is something amazing. Have a chance to fight with the most popular characters from anime world is so cool: Naruto vs Ichigo, Goku vs Rufy, YuGi vs Pegasus and many others. You can choose to play online with other players or offline by yourself. Realistic graphic and the easy gameplay made this game a top

so basically if you like anime and fighting games, this is a great games for you, plus it came to my door with no scratches or dents on the box, this game allows you to make your own anime character and play the story mode and online/offline battles, in my opinion its overall the best fighting game for people who love anime

Regardless of what reviewer said, I quite enjoy this game. They have improved the fighting mechanics since J Stars Victory Vs and the fact that you get to make your own character :).I think the only downside for me is the loading for the game takes ages.

This game is amazing. What it lacks in difficulty( although naturally it gets harder as you progress) it makes up for with a stylish graphics and a flashy combat system. I’ve had so much fun with this game and would recommend it to anyone.

The game was great. It is good for anime and manga readers so I don't recommend it to people that haven't read it watched the different series as you won't enjoy the experience as much because it doesn't bring any nostalgia.

Got this for my son and I haven’t seen him since :)He loves it he tells me the graphics are really good the story is quite easy but when you play on line with others it’s harder and he has recommended it to friends.

Brought for my son he loves this game, if you are a fan of dragon ball z you will enjoy this game. It’s great that you can customise your own characters!! Would defo recommend!

Love it bought it on pc a while back servers aren't the most active but ps4 for sure has much more active servers.
