I love Julius-K9 products. I am giving this a 4 star vs 5 star based on the velcro. The velcro for the large saddlebag is SMALLER than that on the mini bag! In all fairness, this could be because I bought the size 0 saddlebag for a size 1 powerhouse harness based on other's reviews of how large they are. If that is the case, they could have remedied the issue the same as they did on the mini bags..that is, have the one smaller piece of velcro, with a larger piece for the bigger harnesses with a strip covering it so you can use or not use; I would have really loved a more substantial velcro for attachment. Note that on the size 0,you have one less attachment point than on the larger sizes..this is the underbelly attachment that shows up in questions a lot. The size 0 has 3 attachment points: the velcro, a strap that goes on top though rings I never even noticed as well as the 2 new rings they give you to add to chest strap. I find it overall secure, but velcro does come detached when leash catches it while hiking. Overall, still an AWESOME pack..especially when my girl refuses all other packs..including my ruffwear packs. She took to this harness with no problems and to the added packs as well.Again..feel important to note that the size pack I bought was the size 0 meant for the SMALLER size 0 and baby harness versus the size 1 harness it is shown on..I did this purposely because my girl normally hates packs and what I needed her carrying was minimal.

I bought these Julius-K9 Attachable Side-bags for my Sheltie’s Julius-K9 harness and it fits securely with perfect lines as though they were made together. I am handicapped and use my sheltie to sense things I cannot anymore. Needless to say he goes everywhere I do. These side-bags gave me a way for him to carry his own food, brushes, leashes and a fairly large Lithium Ion battery that powers the camcorder w/audio mounted on the harness. This long life battery he carries extends the camcorder's life from 20 minutes to four hours.This guy is my ears and I use the camera to evaluate dangerous situations he may have missed during our daily excursions that I did not notice at the time.So the camcorder with audio is critical to his continued training. These side-bags made all this available to me at a decent price. If you need your dog to carry anything the size of a shoe or smaller, these are for you. I use them all the time and the dog doesn’t even realize he is wearing them.Note: The entire Julius K9 line of harness gear has worked out great for me and my dogs. These dogs are critical to me getting around safely and the harness gear has made it more practical allowing the dogs to carry the gear instead of me packing it all on my wheelchair somewhere.

These side bags are excellent and well made. I add the bags before putting the harness on my Husky but i have a bit of trouble with the strap that needs to be looped through the buckle of the harness. Aside from that, its really easy to put on and take off. I do wish the sides were reflective but i'm sure you can buy the patch OR do what i'll do and make it yourself!He walks a little funny with it but i'm sure its because he's still adjusting. Also, you can fit a pod-sized water bottle in one pouch but there is still lots of room left (just be mindful of the weight)!Update: 2/21/2018I love these bags! It did take a few try’s to perfect the usage but these are excellent for training/excercising.I can pack all of my things in there OR weigh it down with his balls, water for the two of us, snacks, even small weights like cans of tomato. Once I bring out the bags he gets excited because he knows we’ll be out for a while:). 100% recommend them.

I read the reviews about how these panniers fail with active dogs and I can see that they could but they are about as well made as you could hope for and if your going to put them on a dog that 'crashed through the bushes' and chases dear with them on then 5 minutes on a sewing machine might not go amiss. They are reasonably waterproof, but if your dog is a swimmer then don't assume that the contents of the panniers will be dry after a swim.They fix the Julius K9 harness an absolute dream. Yes balancing them can be a bit of a faff but so long as you pack everything in them is small bags then its easy enough so swap things around to get it balanced.In short if your going on a long adventure with your dog don't be a plank about how you pack and what you allow your dog to do in paniers and you'll find that these are a great by.

I wish they were a tad bigger. Don't get me wrong, it is perfect size for my huskies body, she is a very lean and small 35lb 8 month old. But I just wish I could find her water container in them. It's a bit taller than a standard sized water bottle.But all in all, I do love it. Perfect size for a small baggie of food, treats. It can even hold your phone if need bed.

Bought to attach to the Julius K-9 harness on my Siberian Husky, I can add weight or just let her carry her own water and treats on long walks. Bags do not get in the way. Clever attachment means they will not fall off or be knocked off easily. My dog is very happy wearing them.

They're Ace! Took dogs on holiday n there where able to carry their own food, water n bowls arc. Makes a cracking conversation starter too! The only reason not 5 star is instructions not very clear and can be awkward balancing out the weight which you need to do.

Field testing pending, but feels well build. Good add on product to go with the idc powerharness, which has proved itself to be high quality.Can't wait to take him camping and hiking with this thing.Size 1-2 bags on my 80# mal, wearing a size 2 harness.

I have had the Julius k-9 powerhouse harness for a couple of years and have been wanting to get back packs, these are perfect.I am using a size 3 and the packs fit it perfectly. Now he can carry all his own stuff LOL

Made well, quality materials just like the harness. The only downside to this product is one that exists with any sidebags, it makes the dog wider so when in a heel they can hit you in the leg. lol

Bigger than I expected though I may have got mixed up with the sizes, I bought a mini harness. I will need a bigger harness in a few months and then they'll fit that perfectly.

Product works well and is very robust, but be careful not to overload them as this can cause problems with twisting and could lead to muscular problems for your dog.

Ideal bags. Just have to watch that the weight doesn't move to the front of the bag else the harness moves up the dogs back

well made but the Velcro set up needs to be reviewed. Bags wont hold for a long time or with some weight in them.

Great quality but could do with an additional metal loop to fit on the clasp side or buckling is awkward.
