Joseph Joseph have a knack at taking really Boring household products and giving them that tweak that you always thought ‘wouldn’t that be good’ this bin is no exception. It’s always annoyed me slightly that with just one bin in the bathroom, nothing gets recycled, it all goes in the bin. JJ have effectively solved that. The bin has two compartments (one bigger than the other) which allows you to split out rubbish and recyclable material. The cover comes off and the smaller rubbish container can be pulled out to empty, allowing you to tip up and recycle the larger container contents easily. We were a little worried that there was no cover initially. We have a dog and didn’t want him rooting about in the rubbish. The holes are the top provide plenty of cover to make sure this doesn’t happen and you really can’t see the rubbish at all.Really recommend for anyone that wants to recycle more bathroom waste. If you found this review helpful, please click yes below! The split design is quite clever, but in actual practice means you're basically buying a crippled bin with a unsurpsingly underused recycling section. You don't often recycle items in the bathroom, or at least I don't. Many items you're going to recycle, such as shampoos and other toiletries last a while. Whilst the waste that builds up, cotton pads, tissue etc. will fill this up quite quickly. A better idea would have to at the least make both holes equal in actual volume. But keep the different sized holes. Note that if you're looking to put a plastic bag inner liner, this only works for the small hole, as there is an inner container that is part of the bin frame. It's not possible to practically put a liner for the recycling section, but that shouldn't be such an issue if you don't put very wet items in there. That said, it looks really good in a modern bathroom, and isn't a hassle to empty, won't rust, so I'll give this the thumbs up.

Good, simple bin! Looks fine and no noise (from clicking a lid shut, or the push lids when they bounce back).A lot of reviews state about the regular waste side being smaller than the recycling; it's not labelled, so how you use it is up to you entirely. If you want to use the smaller side for recycling, do just that. Personally I think it helps highlight where you could recycle. If you're filling up the smaller side with non-recyclables very fast, are there any changes you could make? (etc). Not sure what bin liner would fit in the smaller bin, but having said that, I'd your add a bin liner, you're adding more plastic. Easy to just tip the contents into your main bin before rubbish collection day and give it a wipe.No negative comments about this product.I may actually buy another for my downstairs loo.

The waste bin hole is quite small and this gets smaller when you have a bag in to collect the waste. However, it’s changed1-2 weeks and takes that waste. The recycling section is brilliant. We don’t use a bag in here and just throw in cardboard boxes from bathroom products, toilet rolls, bottles from shower etc. It is big enough to hold 1-2 weeks worth. As a huge amount of bathroom waste is not recycled according to research this was our main objective of purchase. And yes we now recycle all bathroom products and makes us feel good!! Considering the purchase for other bathrooms but the one downside to this bin is the waste section is open with no lid so people can see in.Not a problem in the en-suite!

I'm impressed with this bin. As with many Joseph Joseph products some thought has gone into its design. I like the fact that the bin is largely covered by the light blue cover - who want's to see what's in a bathroom bin... I also like the ability to recycle bathroom waste. The smaller compartment, with the smaller opening in the top of the bin, stores waste in a operate removable compartment. The larger opening deposits rubbish into the main bin. It's a smart, sensible design. The bin has a clean design which looks good. In addition there are several other bathroom products which match the bin.Nothing to fault here. Five stars.

I really like the size and colour of this. It holds quite a lot whilst still being fairly compact. It fits nicely down the side of the toilet in the WC which is quite a narrow space. It loses a point for me however in the lid. The lid sits on the bin/gets placed inside the rim of it, it’s fine if I am just dropping something in but if it’s a bigger wrapper and I need to stuff it in a bit more then the lid lifts off when I take my hand away. (So I have really small hands too). It’s have been good if the lid clipped on better. Or was like the nappy bin we have for our baby where you press the sides and it lifts off for emptying.

I love this bin. The blue colour is a gentle duck egg type blue. The two "containers" are really very useful. I use the larger one for items that can be recycled like loo paper inner tubes, tooth paste tube boxes and plastic mouth wash bottles. The small one I use, amongst other things, for empty tooth paste tubes and those flushable wipes that are not really flushable. In fact, for anything non-recyclable that shouldn't be flushed down the loo. That might also include things like cotton buds, cosmetic cotton pads and used condoms etc. A very well designed and useful item and one of my best buys on Amazon.

This is, like all Joseph Joseph products, a very thoughtfully designed bathroom bin.The main body of the bin is white, whilst the top, which has two openings is a pale, neutral blue. The magic is the functionality of main bin for waste (I am using this for waste to recycle)The second opening which is smaller is for a small lift out second bin, which I am using for non recyclable waste,I have often thought it would be useful to have a bathroom bin which allows me to recycle my waste easily and this is it.Simple.Well designed.Effective.What more could you ask for...

I'd been looking for ages for a bathroom bin that was a) compact and b) not hideously ugly - and this fits the bill. It's well made and the two sections are handy as increasingly I try to recycle. It's good that the smaller part can take a bag and the whole thing is well made. The only thing I'm not so sure about is the open top. Living in a house of females there is some bathroom waste we don't want on display and there's no place to hide here really. Still, an improvement on my ugly disposal storage from a well known Swedish store and definitely one to consider!

The brush head is a flexible flat rubber that can mould to the shape of the difficult to reach parts of the toilet, so in that sense it is fantastic toilet brush. The down side is that it is too flexible to break away stubborn build up of limescale and the top edge that is meant to clean under the rim is very difficult to use effectively. It is a very tidy and stylish product as expected from Joseph Joseph brand. My initial instinct was that I may buy one for each of my bathrooms but having used it for a while i'm not so sure anymore- for the reasons above.

Joseph and Joseph is our favourite brand in household bathroom and kitchen items. I have already bought other accessories in this design as colour is exactly matching my bathroom tiles. This bin is exceptionally good quality product and looks stylish in my bathroom. It has partition so you can put recycling things on one side and disposable rubbish on the other but if you not fussed then just take the stand alone partition away and you have a bin that is big enough for bathroom.I am very pleased with it and definitely recommend this product.

I'm a big fan of Joseph Joseph stuff and this lives up to their high standards. I love the simplicity of there being a small compartment for landfill waste and the rest of the bin for recyclables. It's durable, well made, lightweight, easy to clean and the landfill waste compartment is clicks in and out easily so you can empty it into a main bin. The only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the landfill waste compartment could be a little bit bigger to mean it only needs emptying once a week but other than that, it's perfect.

Nice size which isn't so small that you're always emptying it, but also isn't too large that it takes up too much of the bathroom. I like the idea of segregating the recycling etc. liked the sleek design and fact you don't have a noisy flip lid (or worse still the lid which opens down into the rubbish!) However, the holes enable you to see some of the rubbish inside as they're fairly big - although they need to be a certain size to enable you to get the rubbish in there. Overall it's a nice design and very happy with it.

The perfect bathroom bin. Small and unobtrusive. Fits in with the colour scheme. Encourages recycling. Wipe clean.I was fed up with little pedal bins that look nice but have a tiny little bucket and always go rusty. I love JJ products and convinced my husband this would be a good purchase. It’s great. The little side is for non-recyclables and the larger side is for your plastics and paper waste. I think it works really well for us. Yes it is small, but it bigger than most bathroom pedal bins.

Like most JJ products , this is a very simple design executed perfectly.Sorts the waste from the recycling in a simple easy manner. Trademark JJ colour scheme and quality makes this a winner. The waste part is small and allows things like contact lenses packets, toothpaste tubes and cotton wool balls to be thrown out and the larger bin is for cardboad and other stuff to be taken to the blue bin without sorting .Perfect, just need the kids to think before they throw stuff in it!
