They're pretty good. The dial mechanism eats in to the storage space inside the boxes. Where you can see the lip of the lid in the product photos, imagine that inside the lid there is a piece of plastic of the same depth, with just a groove for the container to sit in. So the clear plastic you see is approximately your available storage space. Lids also don't fully engage without a bit of down force

Incredibly simple design, it's hard to think this hadn't been thought of before.As uni students who cook communally, lots of food is often left in the fridge when we previously had no idea if it would still be good or not.A simple purchase on Amazon, where it is much cheaper than from J&J direct, and this problem was solved.Will definitely be buying again.
