I bought this as a small tripod to take on holiday, it is compact enough to fit in a back pack and is light, it appears to be well made and hopefully will prove to be durable. In use it is easy to set up just bend the legs to suit the terrain or use them to wrap around a suitable object, tree branch, rail etc, it easily supports my camera (sigma quattro h with 24mm lens, not particularly lightweight). There are of course some limitations with such a compact tripod, the low height for one, but you just need to be creative about how you use it. I used it a lot more than I thought I would and am very happy with it. I fitted a sirui ballhead which I already had. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a small tripod for travel,

this is a gift for my husband for Christmas he has been looking for a small tripod for a while so I decided to gt this for his present. He is a very keen orchid photographer in the field and many of them are very small as he is getting older he find the big tripod to much to carry this will go in his back pack no problem

Great - pricey but it has allowed me to get some stunning landscape shots where as before I simply could not get that close to the ground. I take this everywhere with me.
