Pretty decent headphones. The orange and blue colors are bright and poppy in person. My son loves having a pair of headphones just for him and on sight he knew they're for kids. There are loads of stickers included in the box so now these cans are even more kid friendly.Sound is pretty good, not excellent but certainly good for the price range. Worked well for talk and music. I wasn't sure how useful quiet headphones would be but 85dB is louder than I thought! Apparently 85 is a safe volume too so a little peace of mind there. There is a microphone that was actually quite clear when tested in phone calls. As a receiver the headphones were a little muffled on the call though. The bluetooth has been flawless. Easy pairing with everything I've tried (android/ios/pc) and good range. I got whole house coverage with no chop or static (small house maybe 50 feet range tested but worked clearly from corner to corner through 1 floor). With the phone just inside the door I got about 30 ft outside through a wall before significant static. No complaints regarding battery life. I haven't actually made it through a full discharge yet so these could be excellent. The charging cable is a bit short (8.5"). Not an issue for me but if you're an Iphone family you might not have spare andriod cables lying around (usb micro B). The charging cable does not work for data transfer so you cannot access you phone through your computer with this cable. It charges fine though. Love seeing that JBL signature orange! All in all pretty good, definitely sized for a kids head but as a rather large headed adult (hat size 7.5) I can still wear them comfortably at the widest setting. 4 to 4.5 stars. You know the best way to get your kids to appreciate great sound, get them using JBL products at a young age. JBL has always been one of my favorite audio choices, and it just won the heart of my 6 year old little girl. Lets start off with it was just fun for her to pull out of the box and set up. From the arrangement of stickers, to colors, it really allowed her to show her creativity and artistic side. For the parents job, connectivity to her devices was super easy, and the long battery life was a plus for the long road trip across state to keep her entertained watching a movie on her tablet. I also greatly appreciated how the headphones folded up for easy storage and travel.A big plus in my book when you have a million other kid items to carry and haul on a road trip. Lastly, I greatly appreciated that the volume level of these headphones was designed with children in mind. So many times I am worried that the volume will be so loud it will damage their hearing. The JBL JR300BT are set to be a perfect volume for children. As for my daughters opinions, she felt they were super light weight for her head. In the past we have used wireless headphones that we big a bulky. These made for a child, fit perfect. With an easy adjustable headband to find that perfect fit, to the super flexible over ear headphones, my daughter found them to be comfortable and and not too bulky. She clearly loved the crisp sound, and found it easy to control with the handy controls. Overall great product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

These are probably the best children’s headphones I’ve used! My kids are 3 and 2 years old and love these JBL phones. They prefer them over their character themed phones. I’ve tried them on to check the sound and comfort. Obviously they’re too small for an adult, but the ear pad cushions are very plush and the head band has a lot of adjustment. They fit both of my kids perfect! The only issue is that they’re kids and when moving around a lot, the phones tend to slide off the top of their head. I think by age 4-5, they’ll realize its them knocking them off.The sound of these is much better than anything else I have seen rated for kids. They get loud enough to use in the car without even going to max volume. At the max, they’re still at a safe volume level. This is great! My kids can safely play with these and I don’t have to worry about them maxing out the volume. We have the blue and orange model and they look awesome! My son loves the look! They look just like expensive trendy adult headphones, but made for kids! My son also loves the wireless bluetooth. He doesn’t get caught up in traditional wires anymore! No more tangles! They pair quickly with a strong connection to his Kindle Fire Kids Edition. As a parent, these are great for car rides where my son previously just blasted his tablet for everyone to hear. Now he can quietly play alphabet games while we drive.I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great sounding set of headphones for their children! As soon as they arrived, my son wanted them on! However they needed to be charged up first which was very quick....10mins charge gives you an hour of battery life. He chose the orange and blue version so it came with an orange USB lead. The operation is really simple using only 2 buttons on one of the ear cups, which my son picked up in no time at all. The volume is regulated as they are child headphones but it was still a good volume. When I tried them on, I was surprised at the quality of sound they produced and the actual comfort of them. My son commented on how they felt as if he hardly knew they were on!!The range of the headphones is advertised as 15metres which we never fully used however he moved from room to room in the house with no loss of music at all.The battery life is 12hours which was more than sufficient to deal with the needs of a 7 year old. The quality and build of them is also great and has stood up to being dropped on the floor a couple of times.A nice little addition to the headphones is that they come with a set of stickers that allows your child to personalise them to their hearts content. In summary, they are a perfect set of headphones for children.

The JBL JR300BT are an all-around solid choice for children’s headphones. My initial reaction was that the headphones were well built with enough movement in the earpieces to prevent kids from easily breaking them. The colors are fun and my kids loved the stickers that they could use to make the headphones their own. Pairing the headphones was quick and easy and they quickly re-connect each time the headphones are turned on. The buttons are large and easy for kids to use and conveniently lack volume buttons so that kids can’t adjust it themselves. As I’ve come to expect from JBL, the sound experience was very good. Perhaps a little tinny in the high pitches, but overall very good range and clarity at any volume. The headphones are supposed to limit audio to 85dB and they did prevent me from achieving extreme levels, but the volume from my phone was still more than loud enough. I haven’t fully tested the battery yet, but life appears to allow many hours of happy listening and I was able to quickly charge them. Overall my kids love listening to music with these and they would enthusiastically recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have to say that these headphones are great for kids. The sound quality is pretty good and for most kids these will be great. Limiting the DB to 85 is great. My kids love to listen to their music loud and 85 loud enough and it is a safe volume according to studies. The headphones fit really well and can get big enough for adults. The headphones also bend and seem to be pretty durable, my son has already wore them to sleep once and they still look brand new.The battery life has been really good, my kids took turns listening to them for two days straight out of the box. The usb cable is a little short for my liking. The cable is only about six inches long although the USBA side is reversable, you can put it in either way, no flipping it three times to put it in the correct way. I seriously love the JBL charging cables that have this. My biggest drawback are these headphones are bluetooth only. They cannot be used as wired headphones. After using them for a couple of days I now realize that I need to buy another pair because both my children love them. So i'll be buying another pair of these soon. First off I have to say thank you for finally making a wireless headset for my child. The products available for kids are pretty sparse and lacking in quality. It was a pleasure to receive a pair of the JR300BT for my kids to test. I loved the built in max volume to protect their hearing. No more telling them to turn their music/device down. The comfort and fit is great and haven't had any complaints so far. They aren't audiophiles like their father so they are happy with the sound quality as well. My take is that the sound was a little flat, not a whole lot of range high or low. Some of the cons I can see are the micro usb port is wide open. I'd like to see some sort of cover so liquids and other foreign material isn't spilt into it.My daughter is nine and I doubt they will fit her past 11 or 12. So it seems the max age, or sweet spot is between 3-10. And the battery life seems to be ok. I'm not sure if these are suppose to auto shut off after a certain time frame not being used. Because these do not and it drains the battery if she forgets to turn off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I recently got a pair of these JBL bluetooth head phones for my 6 year old son. He had a been using an adult pair of Beats but some how lost them. These headphones have made him forget all about his lost pair. These fit is head wonderfully as they are smaller and lighter than headphones made for adults. The simplicity of these bluetooth headphones has allowed him the freedom to manage the power. With only two buttons on the headphones he only has to worry about using the power button. The second button is the bluetooth button and is used to pair to devices. He has these headphones paired to his iPad and to my phone. The apple products display the headphones and battery life at the top of his iPad so he gets to monitor the battery level and knows when a charge is required. There are some sheets of stickers that come with the headphones allowing your child to customize or decorate their headphones if they so desire. My son has used them yet, but I threw out the idea of him putting his initials and possibly his hockey jersey number. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I was impressed with the headphones, they were very easy to connect with the tablet (even my 6 year old could do it). Comfortable with super soft ear padding and had a good adjustable range (fit my 2 year old and also myself). The sound quality was very good and had a balanced sound profile. My son had no complaints watching films and playing games with them on and I was able to watch programs on my tablet while the tv was on. Even though they are sound safe at less than 85dB I was still able to use them in the car and my son didn’t complain that he couldn’t hear, a big plus as other headphones haven’t been loud enough when traveling. The colour of them is nice, not too garish as some kids products can be and they come with lots of stickers so they can be customised. I love that when they are folded up they look like a smiley face however I would have liked some kind of case or bag to store them in. I would definitely recommend these for kids but also for small adults especially those with sensitive hearing due to the sound restrictions.

I got these for my daughter and i'm very happy with them. They are well packaged and very easy to connect to a Bluetooth enabled device. The review that follows was written by my daughter: - I think the JBL JR300-BT headphones are very good. I like the shade of pink and the padding on the headband makes them very comfortable when wearing for a long time. The speakers have lettering (L or R) on them so it is easy to see which belongs on the Left & Right ear. When listening to music, the sound is very good and clear. You are unable to have the volume so loud that it would hurt your ears. I have mostly used them indoors when listening to music,it is good that I can walk around without worrying about getting caught in cables.I would defiantly recommend these headphones, especially for use when on long journeys. Good for the car or aeroplane. They are easy to store and can be compact when not being used.I rate these headphones as 4.5 out of 5.

"Munch" was super proud of the way he styled his headphones using the cool stickers included. Extra awesome that there are enough letters for us to spell out his nickname and his proper name. We loved the colors of the headphones too. They are super easy to adjust, feel durable and of quality material. Munchies was adjusting his own headphones and bragging to his mom about it. The volume is sufficient for him to enjoy in the car, but not so loud that he can damage his hearing. After testing I was really happy that it was a product he could enjoy comfortably that wouldnt cause me any worry for his hearing! Pairing to multiple devices has been easy, munch takes the headphones with him everywhere, which has been great because his favorite song right now is the theme to Ghostbusters the movie(s). Super comfortable, great build quality, feels durable but light and munch loves using them! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

When I first told my 8 yr old daughter that she would be getting these new Bluetooth headphones she was so excited! I left them in her room fully charged along with the sticker sheets. She got home with her mom about 2 hours before me. When I got in she had already decorated them with the stickers and had them on connected to her tablet. She was watching videos on a popular open steaming site. I had to force her to take them off to take a bath. Needless to say she fell asleep using them after bath time. I took the opportunity to try them myself. The earpieces are very comfortable. Sound level is of course low for my taste but that's what's great about them for kids with their more sensitive ears.It gives me a piece of mind that her hearing is safe in the hands of this JBL Jr product! She takes them everywhere she goes now. Lol. 2 thumbs up from me and my daughter! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

As soon as these JBL headphones for kids arrived, I knew my son would love them! The earcups are so soft, and the headband padding is too! So lightweight, my son wore them for a solid hour while playing games on my iPad. He said that his, “...ears never got to hear everything before. These headphones are great!” After he was done, I listened myself, and these do sound terrific. They charged up fast and connected easily via bluetooth. My boy also thought is was pretty cool that they came with stickers, but he only put 2 on the headphones and wanted to save the rest. The ONLY issue I have with these is that I wish they came with a 1/8 inch cord/jack as well as many of the kid’s toys that play music and sounds are NOT Bluetooth. He was a little upset he couldn’t plug them in to other stuff, but overall was so happy to use them for his “screen time.” [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got these for my 5 year old daughter. The colour was an obvious attraction and her face, on opening the box, was justification enough. My daughter had been known to borrow my headphones in the passed, but thankfully she can now enjoy these. From a durability point of view, they are coping with small hands and a 13 mnth old sister who has been known to try them on and off for fun. The simple two button (on/off and bluetooth) options allow my daughter the ability to work them herself. Charging is easy, but can't been achieved whilst using them (at least we find the 6ins charge wouldn't be long enough for that option), however a quick boost can you you 20/30 minutes, should you miss judge the batter power. They seem to fully charge in 1.5/2hours. The device that is linked to the headphones displays a helpful remaining battery life indicator. The JBL sound quality is great for the price paid.

I bought these a month ago for my children to use with their tablets so I don't have to listen to all the rubbish blogs and families on YouTube that spend their entire life uploading videos about themselves that my children constantly watch all the time. They both think that they are really comfortable and look 'COOL!' (this I presume is another way of saying. "Great design, great looks and that you wouldn't be embarrassed if seen wearing them by your friends"). They have a good adjustment for different size heads. The thing that I like the best about these is the fact that the volume is restricted so that it won't burst their ear drums. All in all I would recommend these earphones to anyone with children. My youngest who is 2 years old wanted to try them on managed to take one of the ear sponges off. This was an easy fix to put back on so not worth knocking the product just for this.
