This is a well made little toy. I love the fact that it sticks together and that encourages little hands to keep pieces together . I'm not sure how durable the propeller at the bottom is but it hasn't broken within 2 weeks of playing so in this house that probably counts for something .My only criticism is that the box you supply it in is huge compared with the product. It would be fairly easy to redesign it so 1) it doesn't use excess packing and is more environmentally friendly 2) doesn't look very disappointing when you look in the box and think that half the pieces must be missing 3) fits through a letter box so you don't have to pick up yet another parcel at the sorting office .

This has been one of my child's favourite toys since bought 18 months ago. It has been thrown around on hard surfaces and so far has not broken. It does come apart rather easily, more easily than it did originally. In fact it's much better to use it in the house as it's come apart in the street a few types and bits have gone everywhere.That said is a beautiful object. My son has consistently played with it since it was bought and it is still one of his favourite. In my experience it is also much more robust than some reviews suggest which was my main reason for writing this as balance.

This was bought for my 3 year old as a gift! Lovely quality and durable product - I wouldn't class it as a 'toy' to be played with by younger children! The paint has chipped slightly where the magnets catch each other, but doesn't take away from the outward appearance. It looks great in his rocket themed bedroom as a decorative item, and when he plays with it he can take it apart himself and has now mastered matching up the magnets to put it together too! He gets easily frustrated when toys fall apart during play but there is no risk of this happening with the magnetic rocket!

My son received this toy for Christmas. It is really lovely looking and very durable. It is very easy to reassemble and the magnets hold everything in place with just the right amount of strength - enough to be easily pulled apart but it won't fall off either. My only gripe is that it looks fairly big in the picture - I would've assumed about 30cm (12 inches) high but it's actually half that height.

This was the first toy our son actually played with, it was very good around 6m-12m. The magnets make it very easy to assemble and take apart. Some parts are harder to assemble than others and so it remained challenging for him for sometime. Unfortunately the checkered part broke when he threw it hard onto the floor. I am going to buy it as a gift gift for my nephew who will be 6m.

Great little rocket. It's small, but cute. The finish of the construction lets it down a little. The legs are glued into the base and the man is glued into the rocket, however it looks like it was glued together by a child. Glue over flowing out of the holes etc. (see picture). Bit of a shame, as it would have been five stars otherwise.

My 3 year old loved this for his birthday present! 5 months on, he is still playing with it every day. The magnetic pieces hold well together and it's an exciting piece of toy which allows him to make the rocket from scratch every time it breaks/falls. Great product !

my 18 month old son loves this toy but i think it would be suitable for oder children too. the magnets are great and he has now learned to build it in the right order. it's well made, a lovely simple design and something i hope he will keep for a long time.

At first thought this was overpriced as when it turned up it seemed tiny. However my 1 yr old loves it - it is the perfect size for little hands. I can see it will be something he plays with for quite a few years. Good quality toy - although pricey.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my best friend's 2 year old. He loves playing with it - taking it apart and putting it back together. My friend loves the look of it too - much nicer than many of the plastic toys around.

Overall a really good quality toy.My two year old loves it, only thing I could say straight off the bat is that the magnets could do with being slighter larger/stronger and when playing with it, it falls apart.

My 2yo absolutely loves this rocket! We have since got some other toys of the series and they weren't as great but this rocket really is amazing! He builds it on his own so proudly great for them little skills

This is a wonderful little toy, my 2 year old loves it and has played with it every day since getting it at Christmas (7/8weeks ago). I like it so much I've just got another as a gift. Highly recommended.

Great toy. We already have the Aeroplane and although the concept is very simple our 3 year old loves playing with them and enjoys the independence of being able to build them himself without help.

Bought as a 1st birthday present along with other Janod toys to have for years to come. Perfect mix of cute and quirky, combined with the learning and motor skills it was a no brainer for me.
