When I ordered Jak X, I allowed myself a healthy degree of scepticism. Would the developers be able to make the leap from platformer to racing without destroying the characters and worlds we've grown to love? The answer is simple: yes.Jak X continues existing plot threads from Jak 2 & 3, bringing Krew back into the picture (weaving his despicable schemes from beyond the grave, via a series of carefully laid plans before his death), and introducing us to the third major city of Jak's world: Kras City. This city is home to the spectacularly dangerous combat racing championship.There is no more platform-jumping at hand, the franchise has moved on now.

History repeats itself as Naughty Dog bring out another brilliant trilogy followed by another racing game based on the trilogy's characters (i.e. Crash Bandicoot 1-3 followed by CTR on the PS1). However, the Dogs said that Jak X was created simply because they felt the vehicles from Jak 3 had so much more potential that they deserved a game of their own. This is also true, and this is exactly what Jak X is about.If you remember the vehicles from Jak 3 (if you don't know them, they were skeletal-looking dune buggies), then picture much more sophisticated versions of them placed into racing tracks and battle arenas all over Jak's world, with multiple weapon capability. Jak X overall is a pretty sound game.It takes place just after the events of the last title (Jak 3), in the racing obsessed Kras city, where Jak, Daxter and crew have been summoned for the reading of Krew's will, along with his surprisingly slim daughter. After the toast, Krew's hologram announces that all that are present have been poisoned, and the only way to get the antidote is to race for his team in the upcoming Combat Racing Tournament.This game basically takes the desert driving missions from Jak 3 and elevate them to a whole new level, with sharp graphics, Hilarious, Jak style cut-scenes, and enough explosions to keep an arsonist happy.Personaly I feel the game play is missing something,

Jak X is the ultimate in combat racing. Though not exactly what past Jak gamers are looking for, it still provides the thrills and oil spills past titles have.But where would Jak be without his ottsel friend Daxter, and the laughs that follow him around. The same Daxter humour, that makes Jak games so special remains with this game. And where would Jak be without his precious storylines? This racing game features a storyline like no other.All in all, Jak X is really only something that fans of the games will enjoy. It slips jokes about previous games, which may fky over the heads of first-timers. If it was the platform shooting that you enjoyed in Jak, don't buy this. But ye hardcore Jaksters,

ok jak x is a great game excellent sequel to jak 3 and it fits in nicley with the rest of the series. the cars are fast and amazing and if you look carefully when driving through a famileyr city you can see the old building such as haven city you can really see all the buildings in the slums and industriol part of the city but there is one annoying thing you explode to easily i mean when you havent enhanced your vehicle but when you have its much better the turbos and all the rest of the eco is always usefull and one more thing if you have a psp and daxter for it connect it up to jak x and you can unlock the best car (in my opinion) but i wont ruin it for you.

i liked this game so much that when my disc broke i bought it again. i think that the gameplay is great, i think that the races are fun, the graphics are good, the cars can be good fun to modify and hero mode's good as well. good story line but i think they reveal meezo a bit badly. the only bad bit of the game are the freeze rallys but thats just my opinion.

Described perfectly by the seller, superb packaging and delivery time.The game itself is an absolute must have for any fan of Jak and Daxter, even if your not a fan, but you love racing games with a story and/or weapons on the car, then this game is definitely for you. I'm not big on racing games, but I love this game.

jak x is quite a fun game, where you drive a dune buggy thing ( which you can slightly customise eg colour and whether to have spoilers and bunpers etc) and you can shoot the opponents cars, by driving over things, which give you some sort of wapon. overall the graphics are pretty good, and its lots of fun to play

A different game from the previous platformers, but its still ace.The storyline is great, forget about anyone saying its not what they expected, if they were a fan of the series they would know what this was going to be like.Jak rules!!!

I' ve played this game for 5 years when I was a child and it was my favourite videogame, so I bought it. The game arrived in time and with a gift into the box (an 8 mb memory card). Reliable seller.

Well what can i say it is not Jak 4 but its a damn good game! The Action is Constant action will leave you gasping for breath the secrets will keep you going,and the Cut-Scenes are Hilarious.

i bought this for my daughter in law's brother, he likes it so much he got his family to get the others in the set, he is 14 yrs old
