What can I say about my Jack Wolfskin Velocity 12 Backpack, purchased in April this year. Its just the best made and designed back pack I've ever owned. I do use it as a Day Bag and although some might say it's a bit on the small size I find it just perfect.On top of this I trod on, and broke, the chest strap buckle ( I am 18 stone ). So an Email to customer services enquiring about how I could purchase a replacement, resulted in them replying instantly AND sending me one to me FREE OF CHARGE, which it arrived within 48 HOURS, sent all the way from Germany no less.Can't recommend this product / company enough. 5 StarsOutstanding Service, Thank You Jack Wolfskin.General Fitness /

Great product. I have taken this travelling a few times over the last few weeks and used it running and it has lived up to my highest expectations. It’s a little heavier than others on the market and yes the rain cover is annoying rather than just being waterproof but it’s a great compact bag. The straps are comfortable and offer good support with the extra straps. The side pockets take drinks, the inside has two compartments which will fit a lot of items, I packed iPad, beach towel in here no problem. Great little bag. Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend if you are looking for a small capacity bag which can be used for lightweight travel.

I was looking for something lightweight/compact for our hikes. This is a great quality day sack that has some nice features, is well made and comfortable to wear. Has enough space for a couple of lightweight water proofs or fleeces, plus maps, and other essentials (phones, wallet, sunglasses etc.). If you are looking to fill it with clothing,food and drinks then look for something larger! I have no hesitation in recommending this bag to people who have similar requirements to mine!

Good quality back-pack, the outside webbing can hold a bladder pack (in my case a camalpak 2 ltr) and the inside is big enough to say pack a seperate fleece, lunch, flask on the side and maps etc, but after that it was full.Straps are comfortable, and the rain cover is good. So overall very good product for a short day out, but be aware that the space is limited so prob not the product if the familly are also out on the walk!

I ordered this bag as I have other jack wolf skin products and I'm very happy with them. After ordering the seller contacted me to let me know it had sold out and offered the same bag in a different colour and slightly cheaper.The bag is quite small but that's not a problem as I only use for walking and can fit what I need in. The added rain cover is a bonus but I have not found the need as it appears quite water resistant.

Very light and functional. I used it to run between the office to the train station. I managed to put an 11-inch laptop in protective sleeve, pair of trousers, gloves and running hat, 2 phones, keys, wallets and other personal items in it. I strapped my winter jacket in the front.The chest and waist straps are also very well designed.A perfect backpack for those who commute and run part of the journey

As other reviewers mention, this is not a big bag. I'm only 5'1" so wanted a day sack but something not too big, although this prob is on the narrow side. Knocked a star off because the back padding is really, really stiff. It's a lovely bag, strong, lovely bright red, but could just do with. Being a bit wider and less stiff. Brilliant seller though - fast delivery signed for arrived in 2 days!

This bag is small but perfectly formed. I bought it for going on holiday for day trips etc. the rain cover it particularly useful not just for rain but so that you stand out in a crowd if you get separated from family/friends. I'm now joking to start using it for bike rides. Very happy with this - loads of features that I haven't utilised yet but I'll get round to them in time...

Fantastic Day sack for work and mostly for cycling, very good build with lots of clever thought out bits, I spent a lot of time travelling the world and in the military so I know about space saving comfort etc love the built in rain cover, rear torch attachment and the Hydration ability For my current needs this is the ONE not too big and not too small, plus it looks good YAY !!!

This is a quality backpack with plenty of useful features. I like the integral rain hood that unfolds from the bottom of the pack; the way the pack can be adjusted to provide a perfect fit; the decent air breathable back cushioning and the various loops for lamps and hydration packs. It has more functionality that I will ever use in reality, but I'm very happy with my purchase.

Arrived promptly for a present for my other half. the bag has loads of great features for his downhill biking, with a water pouch and a waterproof sheet to pull over if it's rainingraining. it is also very comfortable and the 2 clips keep the bag nice and securesecure. You hardly notice you are wearing it which is great.Highly recommended for mountain and downhill biking.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my aunt who is retired and more active than I am and I'm in my 30's!She absolutely loves this bag, its light weight, comfortable and surprisingly roomy. The other cool thing she likes is there is a waterproof outer bag that comes out the bottom and covers the who thing, so here shopping and newspaper are dry. Nice!!!

Absolutely love this bag. It has so many great features (like the whistle on the strap and the attached waterproof cover). You can fit a surprisingly large amount in the bag and it is my go to day pack now. Have used it regularly for several months (including traveling around Europe and hiking around Wales) and the bag shows no signs of wear and tear.

Perfect size for a short lady. I am 5'. So practical. Love the built in rain cover. I wanted a cycle helmet attachment and this is great. Plenty of pockets. I managed to cram in water bottle (side pocket) , waterproof coat, sandwiches fruit, paper, helmet (On outside) purse,keys and first aid kit. Love the colour of Glacier Blue.

i am dissapointed in the size its a lot smallker than it looks on the picture but i will keep it because its so well made and looks great.I love the waterproof cover and its got plenty of pockets and feels comfortable on my back.Im used to having to carry things for my family in my bag but this one isnt suitable for that.
