Having been let down by a recent cheap rechargeable ch***** job, mind you , it did last nearly 10 days, I thought I'd try a HP Brand proper one. Sturdy and a quality build in the usual HP manner. Not that expensive. It works fine, uses 2 x AAA batteries ( supplied ) Connected as soon as I plugged the USB in the back of the Tower. Is accurate, and tall enough for me to be really comfortable, glides easily, and is the right weight for moving around efficiently.I will update this review should the unit misbehave but I have the feeling it won't . Unlike the previous cheapo. When will we learn.

My mouse died unexpectedly and I had this one delivered the same day (buried in work!). Chose it because it matched the colour scheme and manufacturer of my latest laptop, nothing more scientific! Works well but the instructions are a little vague, although it's easy to work out, although the connect button on the base is slightly unusual. I do miss the extra page up/down buttons on my previous mouse, but not the end of the world.

Love it!! Works like a charm & it's been really useful as my mousepad on my laptop stopped working but once plugging the mouse in the response has been fabulous. I would recommend this product to people who's mousepad on the laptop have stopped working and for those who just find it easier to use. Its lightweight and easy to carry. Could take it out when travelling.

This is my first wireless mouse. I should have got one years ago. It is fast, light, controllable, suits my hand, easy to switch on and off. I have no complaints at all about it. I have problems with my index finger and wrists, and while using this mouse have had less trouble than with my very old wired one. I have used it on various surfaces successfully.

I bought a new iMac and got cramp after a few days' use of the 'magic' mouse! So I bought this. It worked immediately on plugging in and has been fantastic. Good to have a 'proper' mouse back. Only reason it has dropped one star for ease of use is that the on/off switch is quite fiddly. However, it has to be, to avoid accidental switching.

When I first saw the mouse, I was surprised by how small it is, as it is a bit smaller than a standard mouse but it is actually very comfortable and easy to use. It is easy to install - simply plug in the usb device into your laptop and it automatically installs the software. I got it to work well with both my windows and apple laptops.

I've had problems with HP optical mice in the past but they is the best design they have come up with in a while. Previous versions used to spring open were the battery was located and they became frustrating. Discrete on/off switch is great on the underside of this model and there are no issues with the battery lid springing open.

At first this product was too small for my palm but I got used to it and I’d never change it for any other computer mouse plus it matched my HP laptop. It’s very easy to use and set up. When you buy it always make sure you switch it off when you’re not using it so you save battery life, then it lasts forever.

Bought this for my HP laptop recently, once it was connected it worked straight away and has been responsive and easy to use ,only slight criticism I have is I have large hands and it can become slightly uncomfortable during extended use.Not really a major issue as I don't use this for long periods

Bought for working from home. Easy to use and comfortable. A little tricky to remove and replace dongle to battery compartment, with flimsy lid, but doable and hasn’t broken so far.Mouse appears reliable and easy to use just battery compartment fiddly and a little flimsy for a branded mouse.

This is slightly smaller than a standard mouse, but very comfortable to use and a bonus if you travel for work but hate using a touchpad. Comfortable, accurate and easy to start using (just plug the receiver into a USB port). Highly recommended, quality product as you would expect from HP

This was a replacement for my old HP mouse. The only issue I have with the new one is that the battery cover is not so easy to remove as my previous HP one was! Would be easy to damage it if not careful in removing the battery cover. Otherwise is a comfortable to use wireless mouse

First wireless mouse I have had and it is great. Smaller than my previous wired Microsoft basics optical mouse but its fine to use.When turning wheel there is a quiet 'click' which is great. Auto switch off when not in use with an 'on/off' switch when putting mouse in computer bag.

Couldn't get on with the laptop touchpad so took a chance on this wireless mouse. As it's my first ever, I was slightly worried by the cheap price, but I needn't have been. Excellent value for money and happy with my purchase. Very easy to set up and performs well.

I have never used a wireless mouse before so I wondered why it did not work at first then I plugged the bluetooth or dongle into my computer instead of leaving it inside the mouse. DerrrrrThen I was well away, it has a good range and is very responsive
