I had one of these in my last property and since moving I've missed the versatility of having it, so decided to get one as my combi boiler is now in the loft and must say I am glad I did, they're just so useful. Especially when the boiler isn't immediately accessible.I can now sit in the office at a relaxing 20C with the door shut and have all the doors and windows open elsewhere if I so choose without any impact on the environment I am in or boiler usage. Gone are the days of fannying around with radiator thermostats in different rooms.The only gripe if there has to be one is that I am not entirely convinced the temperature readings are entirely accurate and don't have any reliable means of checking them.

Great wireless thermostat to replace our old wired one that was oddly placed in the hallway behind a door, placed the transmitter/receiver in the odd location and know have the wireless thermostat inside our living room where the temperature matters most. Very easy to install and will suit almost all applications just follow the documentation provided.One thing was confusing since it was detailed that this version has the optimization, to learn how quick the house warms up and change the heating pattern accordingly. The option was disabled by default but could be enabled through an advanced menu. This menu is accessible through pressing the menu button and + button at the same time for 5 sec,

The T4R has 6 time periods per day, each of which can be programmed by the user. The thermostat is smart, it brings the room to temperature, then uses the electronics to hold the temperature within +/- 0.1 deg. (when room thermostats were mechanical this precision was achieved with a mini heater in the thermostat which eliminated the backlash). It can also optimise the start and stop times (eg switch on even earlier on a cold morning) and there is a holiday setting. It takes time and effort to set the programs that suit you, but the override is simple (eg your partner arrives home early and wants to turn the heating up). The T4R was well worth the investment.I used it to replace a Salus programmable remote (half the price of the T4R)

I needed to update an eaerlier thermostat. This one comes complete with the receiver. Rather than try to link to the earlier receiver - many years old, I decided to install the new one. The wiring was not quite as shown on the diagrams, but being an electrical engineer it was easy for me to sort it.After about 30 minutes and careful attention to ensuring no bare wires were visitble, I switched it on and it worked like a dream.I then sorted the temperature settings. Please note that the installation instructions give information on how to enable six time periods a day and to access the optimisation menus.

I bought this for the underfloor heating in the kitchen/ dining area as a replacement for the BG wireless stat. Installation was simple and setting up just as easy, the user interface allows one button to switch from auto to manual for quick boost of heat and having a backlight just makes everything easy.I no longer have to listen to the heating switch on in the middle of the night when the temps drop and I get up to a warm room, what’s not to like.A previous controller was so complicated that you couldn’t use it without having the instruction to scroll through loads of menus, this is not an issue with the T4R which is almost fit and forget.

This was my second purchase for this item, the first one said "Wireless" but soon discovered that it was a "Wired" system.At first thought I could link the new Thermostat to my 7yo receiver but No.Took a photo of the old receiver wiring (Honeywell), turned the electric off and dismantled the old one.Offered up the back of the receiver to the already present holes to see if I needed to make others.They all matched up. Fitted wires and closed it all up. Linked the thermostat as stated in the "Quick" fit leaflet and up and running. Took about half an hour no longer.Very Pleased.

I bought this product to replace the Honeywell CM921. Quick and easy to install the receiver. Just turn off the electric, remove the old one and wire the new one in its place. The instructions are clear and simple and as the programmer is already paired with the receiver it was a simple 10 minute job. I would definitely recommend.

Bought as a replacement to the older Ng model (the display was unreadable). Installing the slave unit was a direct wiring replacement and the master unit came already bound to the slave. The unit also came with the 4 day timers pre set, which was great as only fine tuning was needed.

I bought this to replace my old Honeywell CM927/BDR91 system. It was easy to install - the wiring on the relay unit is exactly the same as the BDR91 so was easy. It has a nice clear display. I have found nothing to dislike about it so far.

Tried a cheaper alternative, but heating engineers couldn't get it to pair with the boiler control unit. The Honeywell was simple to set up, paired straight away, and has worked perfectly wherever we place it.

Item arrived before due date, well packaged.It does what it is supposed to, seems reliable so far.Had one of these in previous property, never had any problems with it.Good make. Well worth the money.

Really easy installation if you have a similar set up already. Just a straight swap of receiver and controller. Display is clear on controller and easy to program timer.

It controls the heating well. You need an electrician to install it to the boiler but once shown how to,programme it, the rest is easy..

Straightforward replacement of older thermostat, same make.Much better quality, easier to programme and the buttons actually work,
