Having had cheaper bell pushes we decided to go for something a little better. My mother in law moved in to our extension recently so we ordered two sets of bell and push. The second door push is now used as her 'call button' to summon us if help is needed. The bell is loud and has a nice clear sound to it, the strobe and glow lights work very well. Setting up was easy - but only once the online instructions were accessed, the provided printed instructions are rather too basic. We currently have different tunes and lights for our front door and the 'call button' and are about to add a third push button with a third tune and light as mother wants an independent front door bell for her friends to use.

Had suffered several intermittent faults with our Friedland door bell which was an expensive decent Libra range product with a remote "repeater" included and it seemed the bell-push frequently suffered from damp cold weather. Hooray for Honeywell controls who now run the business as on discussing my issues with their technical team, they assured me that a new bell push would simply "pair" with the frequency on my existing Libra product. It did just that and is now working 100% again. Saved us over £50 or more.

I had to buy another complete doorbell as the rain had got into the bell push and Honeywell didn't sell the bell push on it's own. This time I have covered the bell push in cling film so hopefully that will keep the rain out!! Otherwise I am very pleased with the product.

Works fine with my old Friedland Liba + system after the original bell push failed .. Not particularly intuitive to split the casing so it can be screwed on to the wall tho.. Hinr try You tube

Design seems more weather-resistant than old model. Pity the fixing holes aren't the same spacing!
