Don't get me wrong, I knew the price and I knew what I was getting for my money but I think £20 is a bit steep for a plastic frame. I think you should get one free with a hive package and be able to pick which one you want. That said, it does completely change the look of it and it looks a lot smarter on the wall in the living room with the new frame on so no regrets in buying it

Very easy to fit. Simple instructions. Just a tad expensive for a square piece of plastic that is a different colour from the one you already have. That said, it does make the heating controller look a little less conspicuous on the wall when you have a close matching colour to your wall, rather than 'Heating Controller White' :)

I dare say there are people out there that would say £19.99 for a piece of plastic would be excessive. Probably is. But the colour looked a great match for our living room scheme, where the thermostat sits. And indeed it is. It doesn't look as in your face now as it did all white.

Its a good colour and couldnt be easier to fit to the thermostat. As for value, £20 for a bit of purple plastic is a bit rich, but adds a nice touch to what is normally a boring white dial on the wall.

This frame adds a nice look to fit in with the decor but it's a bit expensive for a piece of plastic. I suspect the box it came in costs more than the product which is why I only give it 3 stars.

£18 for a piece of plastic, but when you have paid to have it in your house why not at least make it look better. I'm happy with it and it looks a lot better than the white you get as standard.

It does what it is meant to do, change the colour of the surround !!. Very easy to swap with the original. Only dropped a star because of the price, but then it was my choice to buy it !!

Makes our hive thermostat blend in with its surroundings better, slightly expensive for a piece of plastic although this is common with all hive products so is no fault of Amazon.

I would say this is slightly darker than a usual teal colour butthat was perfect for me as it matches the same “teal” colour I have in the same room. Was easier to install as well

Not much to say about a trim ring really. It looks quite nice, matches the surroundings. Easy enough to remove the old one and install the new one. Nice little upgrade

Looks good, bit pricey for what it is but looks better than the standard one that comes with the Hive. Matches in well with my black nickel light switches/sockets

Its a piece of plastic that fits around your Hive controller, probably way overpriced but means my controller blends into my decor now. Very easy to install.

Quality item but expensive for what it is, but that said it matches the HIVE controller face very well, looks nice on the wall.

It’s a nice colour. It only goes round the hive control to make it look pretty. Whether it’s value for money is debatable!
