I read all the reviews before purchasing, that in itself gave me confidence in purchasing this tripod. It is most definitely true to its picture provided. Height is 60 inches, i am 5'3 and this tripod is much taller than me.If you are buying for your phone you would have to purchase a phone tripod attachment in which i already had.It is very steady and strong, for the prize i am extremly impressed. I had one which i purchased for 37£ off ebay and this 18£ tripod is much taller which was what i was looking for and feels alot stronger and beautifully designed.If you are searching for a tripod with a great height, great strenght, as well as easy to use,

I bought this product so that I could use it with my camcorder, so that there will be no shaky camera work etc.I like the portablility and ease of use on this tripod, but on the other hand it does not feel very sturdy to use regulary, the case included is good and the tripod folds down to a small easy and portable bar.This tripod is not very heavy however so this lets it down, as when you turn the QR head the whole unit shuffles around unless you are holding it down on putting something onto the hook to hold it down.overall this product is good for the money and it also looks the part as well as being functional and practical, but it falls down in some essential things, 8 out of 10

I was desperate for a tripod bit didn't have a large budget, and I thought all honesty I thought I'd be getting the usual ebay fail, one of those that looked OK in the pictures but when you got it looked like it would break if you touched it with your little finger. Very pleasantly surprised... Sturdy, looks pretty bomb proof, handy little carry bag, decent height, handy quick release mechanism, Decent leg span. Very pleased... The husband straight away asked me how much it was because it looked expensive! My only slight quarm is it is slightly on the heavier side compared to my old one (which was cheap rubbish) but I can live with that. All in all, very happy

This is what you want if you are out and about in nature. You don't want to get expensive studio equipment muddy or wet and this portable tripod is just the ticket when you're outdoors. You can put it in your back pack when hiking or cycling and it fits easily in the footwell of the car.Don't expect studio quality in this package - it is not stable enough to match a product built for professionals but this isn't about that. It's about lightness and portability and amazing value for what you get,It is hard to believe that it could be made so cheaply. A brilliant design built to a price.

I bought this because I couldn’t find my tripodmy missus has got a great technique of putting things away.Unfortunately when you want something you’ve got more chance getting the lottery up.So I bought this as a spare and I must admit I’m well impressed very sturdy I love everything about it.I would highly recommended it my other one the one that my missus has put in a safe place was three times more expensive than this one.But I think I prefer this one mush easier to use like I said highly recommended

The Hama Star 61 Tripod is everything I was looking for in a tripod and more. It comes with more accessories than tripods costing more than double the price of this one, including the bag, spirit level, balast hook and carry handle. The legs are easy to adjust and smooth in opperation and the tilt/pan attachment is also easy to use. I also liked the compact size and light weight so it could fit in a suitcase when going on holiday without taking up to much room.

Excellent value for money and does everything a more expensive item offers. The quick release mount is so easy to use and means you can have the camera mounted in 2 seconds. The hook on the centre pole is very handy for weighing down during use on windy days. Comes with bubble levels built in to make sure levelling is easy. It also has a handy carry handle built in and very strong along its shoulder carry case. 10/10 highly recommend this item.

I bought this to take pictures of myself for a work profile. It is perfect for the job. This is one of THE best purchases I have ever made for the money I spent. It moves, rotates, lengthens and is incredible value for money. I'd say it's worth three times the 16 or 17 I paid for it and it's incredibly easy to use. There are even two 'bubbles' on it so you know it's correctly put up.Don't delay, buy it today.Mistress Jane.

Perfect tripod for my perfect photography. It's stable holds the camera firmly and just does what it says.I've set it up the camera at one side of sitting area to have the family photographs done for other moment.My daughter 6, is also using the camera along with this tripod and she does feel more comfortable and confident to handle the camera whilst it's attached to the tripod.Recommended for everyday use. ?

I think this tripod is excellent for the money. I would question the term "professional" but only because the head is plastic. I would have been happy to pay more for a head with metal parts which would have made the quick release and pan and tilt more positive but for the price and features - excellent.

Having looked at many tripods most did what what this one did for someone wanting to start using a camera regularly so couldn't see why I should have to pay over the odds when this fitted the bill. There may be more capable ones for the professionals but this did everything that I wanted

I purchased this item for my daughter who is a budding photographer and she has found it to be excellent. I purchased a similar item for myself previously that was more expensive and inferior in quality. Apart from all else this is more sturdy and has more height. Wish I had this one!

For the price I wasn't expecting something this stable with so many features. The legs are easy to extend, the quick release works well. It won't hold a DSLR with a huge zoom lens but it copes with my 300mm just about. If you want a decent entry-level tripod then this is a good one.

For such a low cost tripod it is excellent value for money. Pan/tilt is very good and the spirit level is a welcome addition. Stability is good, I use a a Canon EOS with motor drive and 70/200 telephoto; I have had no issues. with it. Recommended as a cheap lightweight tripod.

Excellent item which my daughter loves as she's doing GCSE photography...absolutely fantastic. Really well made and of A* quality. Was iffing and butting as to whether to buy it which I'm glad I did and I would recommend you do too as you will not be disappointed.
