Had lots of fun with this product was despatched to workplace and I offered a cake to every one who came in. They looked so real until you get right up close. My 2 year old loves them, the paper cases were ruined within 2 minutes but the cakes are durable and squashy like mini cushions. A great addition to pretend food collection and something a bit unusual and certainly different from the plastic food in toystores.

This is great. Bought it for my 22 month old, along with a tea set, and she loves serving up tea and cakes. Good quality for the price. The paper wrappers that the cakes come in obviously don't last with youngsters, but that's not a problem. One of the cakes has a bead on the top which invites chewing by a toddler, so you just need to keep an eye on this - or put it away until they are older.

This set of little cakes is so beautiful and pretty. They are dainty and smaller than I expected. I think these are better for a slightly older child as they need to be well cared for and are quite small for little hands. Perfect as a special gift for someone who will take extra special care of them. I have marked them as four stars rather than five because of their price.

My little girl received these toy cakes as a gift and when we opened them they were so pretty she was enchanted! She plays with them every day and it's all very civilised having tea parties all the time! I'm really glad they're machine washable too after all the play they're getting! Fab present - everyone who's seen them agrees!

These beautifully made and robust little cakes are one of my kids' most played with toys. So dainty and pretty but just as much fun for boys as girls. Great for pretend tea parties and shopping games, my boys particularly like to fit them into a bun tray and put them in a toy oven. Well worth the price.

I was dubious whether these would live up to their price tag, but I was happily surprised. They're lovely little toys and work beautifully in my kids' play shop. They are always missing from their box, so they're clearly a favourite!

Bought these for my Granddaughter to go with the new teaset. They are the prettiest play food I have seen. The paper cases are not going to last very long, but they can easily be replaced. We look forward to many happy teatimes.

A lovely set of play cakes. They're well made with lots of small details. The cases are made from paper, which is a shame as it's not very durable, a soft nylon would have been better. Lots of play value, a great present.

These little cakes are made of different types of cloth, which creates texture and interest. They are very believable. They are a little over size for your average mini-picnic/tea set, but my niece does not seem to mind.

I bought these for my toddler as he loves having tea parties. He absolutely loves them and hasn't stopped playing with them. They are absolutely gorgeous and look good enough to eat!

Bought for our 3 year old little granddaughter. Well made and realistic. Safe for little hands. She loved them and so did her dollies and teddies!

Great for pretend tea parties. Bought with spotty tin tea set for 2 year old twins and have gone down really well not literally!!) . Washable too.

My three year old niece loves playing shops and cooking. These were an ideal gift that she has played with every day since she had them.
