Looked all over to find a good solid strong butter dish, and this is perfect. Dishwasher safe, comes in 3 pieces, and washes well. Delighted with the fact that this is not at all flimsy as transparent dishes can be, and I can see at a glance how much butter is left in the dish without opening. This is large enough so the lid does not get messy with butter when returning to the base after use. Really good value for money, and extremely pleased with this purchase. Long-looked for item found at last!

This does the job perfectly. I was looking for a red butter dish, and this is great. It is just the right size for a slab of butter, and it not overbig to have out on the kitchen worktop. It is easy to clean - there is a white 'tray' in the bottom of the red base where the butter sits, and this is separate from the base making it easy to clean with hot soapy water. Very pleased with my purchase, would recommend!

This is perfect, after breaking my crock one on our granite work top, I needed something more forgiving, I love the little tray inside that the butter sits on, it looks good and is perfect for what I was looking for - we have the completely clear one.

When i first tried to order this item it was out of stock,but im glad that i waited a few weeks,it arrived on time and packed really well.It was slightly larger than i expected but it does have a light plastic top to it so hopefully i wont drop it!

Fantastic, great value, colour great will go with any kitchen decor.What I like the most in the inner compartment.May have to order another one,Would certainly recommend this dish.

How excited can you get about a butter dish? This is a good one: light, convenient size, easy to use, looks good, more or less unbreakable, easy to wash. Good for keeping butter in.

I love the fact that there is a separate removable tray for ease of washing. It looks nice in my red themed kitchen and is quite substantial.A very good buy.

This butter dish looks very well and is very practical. It is especially handy to be able to remove its base to clean it. Really happy with this purchase.

Great Italian design. Ceramic dish allows the dish to be transferred from the fridge to the table whilst keeping the butter reasonably cool.

Looks good and I like that the butter sits on a removable tray, you don't have to wait till the butter is finished before washing it.
