I received it the day after ordering it. So far so good. Checked it and no marks/scratches on it. These days, you have to check even on a new product. Fitted my GoPro Hero 4 Silver so the statement "fits all" is correct.FeelTiny bit on the heavy side but for me, that only translates as build quality. The handle grip is rubber allowing for a "grippy" feel. Does not feel like it will slip away from you. Not too thick/not too thin. Just right for my average size male hand.Telescopic ActionTime will tell how this fairs up, especially when using it under water. Extends to a pretty long length. Locks at each joint.I did a lot of research and found this pole to be the best in the market, at the best price.I will update this review in the coming weeks after having used it for a while a let the Amazon community know if any pros/cons.

As a huge fan of GoPole's products, I decided I was going to upgrade my £10 selfie stick and push the boat out and buy a proper pole! I'm so glad I did, because the difference in quality has been amazing! The grip is exceptional and feels nice in the hand. The pole is quite heavy, but sturdy. This is mainly due to the (I think) metal construction. The pole comes with a hi-torque thumb screw, which makes tightening my gopro up in cold and wet conditions a breeze. It also comes with he usual carabineer clip screw, wrist strap and remote clamp. One thing about this pole which I'm not so keen about is the locking mechanism. Once it's locked its not going anywhere, but sometimes it gets stuck and is impossible to unscrew when packing away. Not a deal breaker, but something to think about.Overall, an excellent gopro pole!

Great pole for action cams etc.Got this for on holiday, used it in the sea off Dubai. Had a couple of problems with it probably more down to me, but first time I used it it filled with water, I also had difficulty unlocking one section, it's hard to twist when you are covered in sun cream and in water! However I finally Sussed out which way to twist, one way to lock one way to unlock the sections. It's the opposite to the old rule lefty losey, righty tighty... Left to lock.I subsequently used it at full reach so every section locked, but then it doesn't half have buoyancy no problem floating my cam in its case. All in all its a great pole and the length is good, just a bit fiddly to use and lock, always rinse stuff when finished in the sea though.

A must-have piece of kit for anyone whose use of the GoPro cameras extends beyond simple helmet or handle bar mounts. The ability to raise your point of view also raises the possibilities for using the GoPro; controlling the camera with the remote or (to enable you to see what you are shooting) the GoPro app.The pole is reassuringly solid without being heavy, and the mount, of course, reassuringly positive. The telescopic range is excellent too - fully collapsed, it provides a carry handle for the camera, and the metre or so extension allows a wide range of different shots and angles. The pole also works well for underwater shots - but the remote doesn't (at least, only at very short range)- something to bear in mind.

An extending pole like this one is an essential accessory to get the most out of a GoPro camera. Relatively light weigh, with a good rubber hand grip at the bottom, this pole quickly extends and is easy to twist lock into a rigid camera pole. I have had hours of fun using this pole with my GoPro and got some amazing results. One tip, by gripping the pole at the top, loosely between thumb and forefinger, it makes a very effective Steady Cam, balancing and stabilising the light-weight GoPro Hero3 easily. An extending pole is a must have for the GoPro user and this one is as good as any other.

It works very well. I've used it for filming walking and snorkelling on holiday and I've had no problems with it. The twisty bit it does for holding in place works very well and I haven't had a problem with it not staying in place or the camera rolling round as I've some others say it has done. I did find that you do have to find the sweet spot for it to grip in place but this only involves a little adjusting and common sense. It thought it was a bit pricey at £30 but now I see it is on for £50! Which is why I've only given four stars. I was pushing the boat out when I bought it at £30!!

Fantastic productGopro feels secure when mounted on the end of the GoPole.Quick to extend and short the pole as needed.Only issue that I had was of one of the extension parts coming off. It was a simple fix with super glue and it was back to working perfectly. When used in water it fill float for a short amount of time until it has filled with water then it will unfortunately sink. I use this in the Ocean all of the time. Just make sure you attach the wrist strap to yourself and you will be good to go.

Built a like a tank. Has tumbled down mountains, got stuck in mud and taking selfies of some pretty ugly people yet still didn't break! One niggle; if you let snow/water get stuck in the twisting mechanism bit and it freezes, it does make it damn hard to twist it to extend/shorten it - this did mean I had to go down the mountain with a rather large pole sticking out my bag as it couldn't retract. So just make sure you look after it in that sense.Would still recommend it though, better than alternatives.

I bought this after my first pole broke in my bag snowboarding. The first one was pretty cheap and a lot thinner.... This on the other hand has, so far, turned out to be pretty bomb-proof! Its very strong, nothing happens when trying to bend it with your hands - even when it's fully extended, the grip is great and shuts down to a good size for going in a bag.It has a bit of weight to it but I suppose if it was lighter, it wouldn't be as strong.Good purchase

Really happy with this purchase. I'm planning to use this extension pole for underwater recording on our boat and have full confidence that it will be able to safely support the GoPro camera. The GoPro mounts onto the pole just as it would a genuine GoPro product and feels very secure. The pole itself feels thick and robust and it also includes a screw-in wrist strap to make sure you don't lose the pole while recording. Overall, 5/5 stars.

Bought this in December 2014 and instead of the MK1 version as was listed I received the newer Mk2 version which is extra compact (14"-40", as opposed to the older 17"-40"). Looks like amazon need to update their product information.Seems like a solid product, the white parts are metal rather than plastic and the twist lock seem to work most of the time. I'll update this when I've been able to properly test it.

Great for shooting another perspective on your GoPro. The pole extends out to longer than a golf club, this suprised me! Set the length of the GoPole Reach to tailor to your needs. Easily collapsible and and all round essential accessory for every GoPro.One negative to this pole would be that the paint has rubbed off leaving bare metal at the 3 collapsible joins.

this is quite a good buy for me and used it on two water trips already.does everything it advertises! it floats and the wrist strap is very handy for when you are snorkelling!only small thing is the branding started coming off in an oily form on my hands... didn't know where it was coming from to begin with but realised after.no biggie.

well i spent ages searching the web for a decent pole to attach my gopro on for my skiing holiday! Ive not yet been but ive played about with this and the build quality is brilliant with a nice firm hand grip and easy twist to lock extention poles which go out to over 40" Not to sure if it flotes but im guessing it doesent!

Well worth paying more for this pole, its a decent light weight and strong, I took it to south Africa to film great whites and got amazing footage, others on the trip had metal ones which began rusting come the 7th day can honestly say its a great purchase and one I will continue to use
