It's a good phone but I still carry my pixel 3 to use on wifi as the battery life is really poor. The camera is great but the sensor cover seems to attract grease from fingers a lot more than the pixel 3. I miss the fingerprint sensor as the face unlock is a tad annoying. Also need to be careful with banking apps as it works with eyes closed and dark sunglasses.I buy phones for the cameras primarily to shoot nice pics of the kids without carrying a camera. The 3 was a great leap forward in that regard, the 4 is more incremental improvements. I would not bother upgrading from the 3 if you have it.Just a little underwhelming because of the battery life and the slightly bulky nature of the

Smart looking phone, dropped it a few times already with out a case and no damage at all to the phone or to the screen! Easy to use. Amazing camera! Night mode is amazing for a phone to capture such light photos in the dark! Very impressive. Only problems so far is battery life isn't great and no finger recognition which is annoying when typing passwords all the time. Also you swipe the from the side inwards to go back or to home screen which is annoying when scrolling through photos ect.

Pros: Great camera - Hardly takes a bad picture and the portrait and nightime/astro modes are terrific. Nicely built, and the battery life is good enough for my moderate daily use, though I have some features such as the hand gestures off by choice. Cons: No option to set separate sounds for some alerts, like texts and emails; no notification light - you have to check the lock screen; no fully manual camera mode. You can't set ISO, shutter speed etc. The modes there are great, though.

This is a brilliant phone!It's almost equal to the iPhone 11 Pro for £300 less. The motion sensor feature is really nice and the camera is the best out there. Additionally, the gesture based navigation (I'm told it's similar to iPhones) is really intuitive and easy to use.I wish they would squeeze just a couple more hours out of the battery, as it barely lasts the day, but I guess that's the case with most of the latest phones, right?Highly recommended.

Bought this phone knowing that the battery life would be rubbish and it is. Just about makes it through the day if you don't use it at all, otherwise dies early afternoon. However! If you can live with that it's a fantastic phone. Perfect size, quirky looks, nice screen, zippy performance and enough storage if you get the 128. And the camera is truly phenomenal. Images are superb, zoom fantastic and might mode unreal. Love it!

Once you go vanilla android you cant go back. They have perfected this version of the phone. The Google integration is so strong and intelligent. Camera is a dream to use. The phone feels like a part of my body, amazing. Only thing to let me down is no HDMI output on the USB C, should be standard - but wifi to TV is fine, but need HDMI for other purposes - monitoring camera work. But apart from that very close to perfect. Wow!

After Nexus phones were finished off I decided to get a Samsung S8 instead of a Pixel because they were cheaper. After my S8 died I decided to get back with Google and plumped for the Pixel 4. It's nice as the phone just works with your Google account but there is no notification light to blink at me and the screen is slightly smaller than I'm used toThe camera is fantastic and I've found the keyboard really easy to text

First of all amazing delivery from Argos themselves. I made the jump from a Samsung s9 to the Google pixel 4 after having exclusively used Samsung phones for over 10 years. Initially, it's a bit confusing to wrap your head around the Google layout and features etc. But this phone is amazing, the camera is flawless and battery life is good, charges quickly too. I don't think I'd go back to Samsung after having a Google phone.

Great phone, super fast and smooth to use. Has all the cutting edge features like wireless charging, NFC, facial recognition. My only 2 small negatives are that the battery is not the best compared to my last phone (Sony XZ2) The facial recognition feature is also nice, but most apps don't support it yet so you will miss signing in to your bank without entering a password.

Great Phone does everything you need it to do and more many hidden features which is fun to explore and a very up to date useful piece of kit.smart sleek display perfect sizedefinitely recommend to a friend I also switched from on IPhone which was a massive change but most definitely a good one!!

Its a really good looking phone in my opinion and i love using it! The software is amazing and the camera is perfect as always. The only problem i have is with the battery that last from 8 to 6ish if you use the phone a lot. it does charge super fast though since the battery is small.

An excellent smartphone, Google Pixel 4 gives you the latest Google has to offer and does it very well! The only downside to this is the battery life, for me it's no problem, but for someone who is out and about all day, it could be troublesome. Definitely enjoying this phone!

Snappy pocket friendly powerhouse of a phone, Google at it's best. The camera is incredibly good, I am comparing this to my iPhone 11 pro max to! , Wish I had pushed the boat out and got the bigger memory version... The os takes up a bit before you get started loading it up.

Package was abit marked and the phone itself had a call already on it but when I googled it said it's usually a test by the production company. Phone itself is great, very stylish. Long battery life. Love Pixels very easy to use. Definitely recommend

Great phone that charges really quickly, great camera although I haven't tried it at nighttime. Camera does stick out slightly so having a case on it helps to protect it. Well designed and laid out with all the latest functions.
