This is a well designed and solid piece of kit for power when you need it.I like the fact that I can charge batteries at home or in the car from a USB port and when off grid I charge from my solar panel.The light is a great addition and reduces the need to carry a tent lantern or hand torch.The only downside to this is the fact that you can only charge one size of battery at a time, AA or AAA with the adapter and it requires 4 batteries to be fitted for charging. There are similar priced items that will charge 1 to 4 batteries at a time.Having said that I now own 2 of these and with the silicon cover are very robust.
