Having changed from a Blackberry (6 days average battery life) to a Samsung Galaxy 3 (average 36 hours battery life) I bought this device to guard against having a dead phone when traveling and unable to use the charger. Generally I'm very pleased and would recommend it on the following basis1/ It's quite light and compact - can be carried easily in a pocket.2/ If you only have one phone (or rather, one type of connector) then you only need to carry one cable which can also be used to connect your phone to your laptop when required.3/ It's easy to use (except see below)4/ It took about 5 hours to fully charge the Pebble from empty using the USB port on my home PC.6/

I spent ages trying to find a back up charger for my HTC phone and my IPAD. I travel a lot with work with A lot of kit and needed a charger with a large capacity and doesn't take up too much space while being kind to the old wallet.This charger meets all those criteria and more. It comes with a multitude of different charging adapters and it can be charged from your laptop or a USB plug that are becoming more and more common these days. Once charged stick it in your pocket or your bag with the relevant adopters and off you go! It charges my phone and my iPad just as quick as they would charge normally.My only criticism (and I'm splitting hairs here)

Big things come in small packages, this device adds a big punch of electricity to a variety of devices when your juice is running low. It's great, I've seen other portable chargers which just do not match up either because they don't give you enough charge or they're just not so 'portable' and are more bulky like a brick in your handbag! I did think the device would be smaller than it was but that was my lack of judgement at not clearly looking at the measurements. Having said that it is still a convenient size. One thing I would say is that you've got to buy yourself a better cover - one with some kind of fastener or 'lid' as the sock/sleeve pocket doesn't stop the smaller parts falling out from time to time.

Bought this with some apprehension as read some negative reviews. However, pleased to say so far it's worked very well. As the Pebble has a larger battery capacity than my iPhone 4S it actually charges the phone to 100%. It's not exactly light, but in a shoulder bag etc you don't notice the weight. Comes with plenty of adapters for various phones. One criticism is that the little sock it comes with is opened ended, i.e. No drawstring to pull tight to keep the Pebble in the sock. It does tend to full out.However, if you use your smartphone a lot then this is a very handy accessory, which I would recommend.

This is a useful little battery - it is small and cylidrical, about the size of a ciggy lighter in height.It comes with some different connectors - micro USB, classic iPhone and I think NokiaIt takes about 6h to fully charge via USB and the light on top will change colour when fully charged. It is enough to charge my S3 from 20 to 90% and will fully charge some smaller 2200mAh batteriesMy biggest gripe is that it does not tell you when it has drained and a minor gripe with the sock, which is useless unless you are using it to store the charger and the cable.

It does exactly what it should! There is not fancy buttons, LEDs etc. Just an indicator light that is blue when charging and red when full (that confused me at first). I can fully charge my HTC chacha at least once. Takes a while to charge up but thats fine. Carry it everywhere since you never know when your phone will die. It was an easier alternative to buying a new battery and needing to take the back of teh phone every time. Had mixed reviews so I bought it with some uncertainty but I have been greatly pleased with it so far (bought about 2 months ago)

The Smartstick gives my Nexus 4 about a 75% boost in charge (the one time I measured it, the Smartstick charged the phone from 13% to 88%), which is perfect for the days when I'm out and about and using it for tethering my laptop.It didn't come charged as it claimed on the packaging, which was disappointing and made me think it might be faulty. A 7-hour charge later, though, and it was ready to go. Since that first time, charging time has been more like 3 - 4 hours, which is OK.Overall, I'm pleased, and have recommended it to friends.

I purchased this as a means to charge my phone whilst on a trip abroad. It managed to keep my phone at 100% charge for almost a whole day without need of recharging. I am going to be honest; the time it takes for the smartstick to charge completely is a bit on the slow side, but it is worth the amount of charge you are receiving. Overall, this is worth the price, as it provides great ulterior means of charging on the go, and is small and light enough to carry on person without it burdening you.

I was surprised how good this product is. Having read previous reviews I didn't expect a full charge but it charged my iphone from 9 to 100% in a few hours. I only want to keep in my bag for emergencies in case I run out of charge unexpectedly so it's perfect for that. I did have to buy and iphone 5 adapter but ordered that via another Amazon seller so only cost me an additional couple of pounds. All in all it's well worth the money for peace of mind.

I initially bought this to charge my BB when it ran out - but the phone wasn't allowing it to charge (hence not the 5 stars). However, since then, I have upgraded my phone to the nokia 920 and it works on that.It's also great to use it as a battery pack for my Raspberry Pi.

Does what it says on the can. The adapters fit my Nokia phone, and my I/pad, but alas NOT my Samsung phone. This is strange as they are the leading manufacturer it seems. Instructions scant, need to advise that on full charge light colour changes from red to blue

Can fault this little gem, I bought this on recommendation of my daughter who has had one for a couple of years and hers is still going strong, so here's hoping mine will doing the same. Would recommend to anyone.

this is a decent all rounder charge pod, it has 4 adaptors for various phones, pc tablets etc, and is always useful to charge on the go when your phone etc dies

Very happy. Looks great and does what it promises. likely to be this years Christmas present! A minor point but would like to be able to top up from the mains.

This is an ideal add on charger for days when the mobile is heavily used and the battery gets drained. Enough power to re-charge the battery completely.
