The Anker PowerCore 10000 is an excellent product, and it’s biggest strength is its small size that makes it so portable. It has a strong plastic shell that doesn’t attract fingerprints and it comes with a carrying pouch, as well, to protect it from scratches. It’s fairly light, and very easy to slip into a pocket just in case.It charges very quickly, even though it doesn’t have Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology, and it has enough capacity to recharge my Galaxy S6 fully around 3 times. It still comes with/uses a MicroUSB cable to charge, instead of the newer USB C standard, but considering most devices still haven’t adopted USB C, it’s not too much of a problem. It’s very easy to use, just plug in your device using the given cable, and press the little button on the side. It also has a set of 4 lights on the top indicating it’s charge level. It never shut off accidentally while I was using it, which is nice peace of mind. This charger is best for someone who wants a battery pack they can take with them easily, without needing a bag or purse to store it in. Because of the small size it will fit easily into a jacket or pants pocket.I’ve used the older Anker Astro E3 10000maH battery pack which has the same capacity, but a very different form factor. It was much larger wider and taller, though a little bit skinnier. Also, it had 2 USB ports as opposed to the one on the PowerCore, however they were specifically labeled “Apple” and “Android”, while the PowerCore’s single USB port utilizes Anker’s PowerIQ and VoltageBoost technologies to automatically detect the right output for your device. I found that on a power bank of this size I never used both USB ports at the same time, so having only one on the PowerCore made little difference. I have attached several pictures comparing the two devices in form factor.Overall, this device has slightly better build quality than the older model I had used, but a much nicer small form factor. It charges faster than the old model, but continues to use the MicroUSB cable instead of USB C, which isn’t a huge issue. I was supplied a sample of this product for testing, but I promise that my review is a fair and honest evaluation.

I currently own a number of Anker products from external batteries to chargers. I have bought most of them, while I also received some as samples from Anker in exchange for my honest review. The Anker PowerCore 10000 came in a package with the external battery itself, as well as a mesh drawstring pouch and a charging cable. The included micro USB charging cable is from the Powerline series (improved model with better speed and durability).I have included photos of the PowerCore battery in (size) comparison to an Apple Magic Mouse, a $1 coin and a $1 bill. The PowerCore 10000 is quite portable in terms of size and weight. It is not entirely lightweight in comparison to some of Anker's portable batteries, but it is indeed a portable battery considering it's power-packed with 10,000 mAh. I can fit it inside my coat pocket, jacket pocket, and the side pockets on my backpack.I have tried charging the PowerCore and encountered no problems at all. I used the included charging cable with an Anker PowerPort 4. You can use almost any USB power adapter to charge the PowerCore; I have tried charging it with the Apple Power Adapter (from an iPad) as well as a USB power adapter from a Samsung Tab. The 4 LED lights serve as indicators for remaining power and charging status. There is also a small button on the side of the PowerCore; press this button and the LED lights will turn on indicating remaining battery level. When charging, the LED lights turn off once the PowerCore is fully charged.I have charged an iPhone, iPad, iPod Mini, Kindle, Samsung Tab, Samsung DUO phone; I have noticed faster charging time using the PowerCore 10000 compared to the older (models) Anker external batteries. The PowerCore 10000 supports PowerIQ and VoltageBoost fast-charging technologies, though this feature is dependent on device compatibility. It has a matte exterior which gives a good grip; no problems with fingerprint marks and smudges. This is an affordable high quality external battery that supports USB charging for your devices; it is portable and power-packed to charge multiple devices (though not simultaneously).

The powercore 10000 arrived in some of the best packaging I've ever seen. Right out of the box 3 of the 4 blue led lights lit up. This indicates it was approximately 75% charged. I plugged it in and waited for the 4 led lights to light up. It charged my ZTE 955 (Galaxy clone, 5.5 inch, lollipop) from 25% to full in less the 3 hours. (note: it could have been a lot less I plugged it in and 3 hours later the phone registered full). There was still 3 of the 4 blue led lights lit, so I plugged in my 7” tablet once again I checked it in approximately 3 hours and the tablet battery registered 100%. When I plugged in the tablet it was registering 29%. There was now 2 of the 4 blue led lights,so I got my wife’s 5.0” android phone. That was registering 60% when l plugged it in in. Less than 90 minutes later her phone registered 100%. After charging her phone it was able to charge my Bluetooth earbuds before needing a recharge.A full recharge took a little over 7 hours. The powercore 10000 comes with a nice nylon carry bag, and a micro USB cable. The battery weighs approximately 6.7 ounces. It will easily drop into most daypacks / backpacks or even a purse. Providing the ability to charge the average Andriod / iPhone SEVERAL times; T3ch5upp0rt can easily recommend this as a great power addition. Pick up one of these and you’ll be able to charge your phone and your boss’ phone when attending the next day conference.T3ch5upp0rt has previously purchased Anker products (particularly their mice) and was asked by Anker to review this product. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for a fair and honest review.I hope you found this helpful, if so, please click on the Yes button for a helpful review.

I just got the Anker Power Core 10000 a few days ago and I have been using it ever since and I must say I am very impressed with it. For its small size it packs quite a bit of power and charging capability. It is very small and it easily fits in the palm of your hand. It is very light weight so if you are ever heading out for day somewhere and you want to make sure that your cell phone works all day than I would throw this charger in your purse or pocket. It will easily charge your cell phone three times before the battery charger needs to be recharged again and it will hold a charge for months. It has one USB port, which is the IQ style that will charge your device as fast as possible because it’s computerized. It has a button on the side that when pressed will display blue lights to show you exactly how much power is still left in the battery. There are four blue lights at 25% per light. It comes in the matte black finish, which looks great. It also comes with the recharging cord and a handy black bag to put everything in. I have a Phantom 3 drone and I make sure I throw this battery pack in my drone case when I am heading out just in case I need it as usually I am out all day. I use it for my Ipad that I have for my drone as well as my IPhone because you don’t want to drive out to a Phantom shoot and then suddenly realize that you are running low on power. This handy battery pack gives you the capability to quickly charge up your electronic devices. I will for sure take this camping up north or in my sailboat for a quick and easy way of charging up my devices when on the go. I give this product a 5 out of 5 on this review. Anker sent me a sample of this product for my review.

This unit is small enough for a pocket or handbag, and quite light. The power cable is not very long. It comes with a handy drawstring bag, which will be useful for carrying the cables. Not being 100% sure how it worked I did this very unscientific test.Day 1 - When it arrived it had one light steady and the second flashing. Plugged into the MacBook, 2nd light quickly changed to steady and in 3hr 45 mins it was fully charged. Disconnected PowerCore from MacBook and charged iPhone from the mains overnight.Day 2 - iPhone fully charged and connected to PowerCore (USB a VERY tight fit) and ran it from there all day. At one point all the lights were off on the unit , the phone was in use and the battery went down to 99%.(I then realised that in order to keep it charging I needed to press the light indicator button. Phone recharged in no time at all). Still 4 steady lights so left it all night.Day 3 - In the morning **** lights steady and iPhone fully charged.Sometime I will use the phone without the pack and see how long it takes to charge it up.Although this is not one of the most powerful batteries, on these results it will be more than enough for my needs. It is not very often I am away from mains power for more than 15 hours. My main concern is to keep the iPhone charged while travelling. No worries on that front now. I am very pleased with it and wish I had one 2-3 years ago.Update - had it for a week now. Topped up the iPhone, from about 50%, couple of times and the iPad the same. Still got three lights showing with no recharge - well pleased.

The Powercore 10000 comes in a nice blue box.Inside the box is the Powercore, a mesh draw string bag, USB to Micro USB lead, Welcome Guide ( Instructions ) and a Happy, Not Happy card. The Powercore 10000 is guaranteed for 18 months. It’s a shame they don’t let you have a choice of leads as I would have preferred a USB- C lead. The Powercore 10000 weighs in at 178 grams which is not to light but reassuringly weighty. It is just over half the size of my Powercore 1600 making it much easier to carry in your pocket. Its about the thickness of a finger and sits easily in the palm of your hand.It has a nice black matt satin finish which looks classy. On one end you have both the USB ports, micro and normal. One to charge your phone etc. and one to charge the Powercore. On one side there is a small button. Pressing this button illuminates 1 to 4 lights on the face of the device. These are indicators of the state of charge left in the Powercore.Charging.It has Ankers proprietary PowerIQ and VoltageBoost but is NOT Qualcomm Quick Charge supported. My phone has a QC2 charger which pulls 1.7 amps this Powercore performs exactly the same pulling 1.7 amps also.It will charge my phone, which has a 27000mAh battery, 2 and a half times. As I pointed out earlier it is just over half the size of my Powercore 16000 so I can carry this in my pocket when I go out, unlike my 16000.I have lots of Anker stuff and as with all my other kit this is a good looking bit of kit.Add to that the superb Anker support which is second to none.

Fantastic value. I like to carry a backup battery in my messenger bag at all times. My girlfriend uses her phone very often and some times needs to charge on the go. I have never trusted public charging points. So I need something reasonably light, as compact as possible, which can hold charge for long periods of time, sturdy, and with an integrated way to check the charge. This product covers all my needs.I'm very impressed with the length of time it holds charge. As a backup unit, I don't check it all the time. But want to be sure it will be ready when needed. Never seen a significant drop in charge. Even after days of being unattended in the bag. The integrated charge meter lets me do a quick check if I want to be sure.I can definitely fully charge my smart phone twice and still leave some energy left in the power bank. It must be compatible with the smart charging in my phone as it does fast charge for it.My girlfriend has taken it on holiday many times when she thought she will lack/have limited access to a charging point during the day, and it has been a life saver. She specially likes it for long journeys or journeys with many changes. On the down side, because of its maximum charge it takes some time plugged to energy source to fully replenish. But was expected. The integrated meter also lets you know if it is charging and the progress. As a plus it comes with a very smart, padded, mesh bag. So even as I carry it every day is in perfect condition.

I bought this roughly 2 weeks ago.It is my first ever portable charger purchase, and so far I couldn't be happier. The package arrived safely and before the estimated date by the tracking system on amazon. The outer box: just a simple cardboard brown package. The inside of it held another package, also a resistant cardboard material box, wrapped up in a plastic cover. The contents we're carefully protected, it included the power bank unit, charging USB cable and a travel pouch for both items.I've put it to charge fully before I used it for the first time, blue lights flashed. Then realised there's 4 of them, indicating how charged is it. Those lights also tell you when it's running low,and have to charge it back up again. Can't praise this product enough. At least so far! Very happy mainly because it charges my phone completely in maybe 20min or so! That fast! Having a Samsung S6 I thought I'd be disappointed at the charging time, as my original one is super quick, but I think this power bank charges with the exact same efficiency. In my opinion, and being a female who carrys a handbag or backpack everywhere, it is small, also when I think of it's 10000mh. It weights more than my phone, but being very compact it is smaller in size. The pouch is one great extra, as it holds the cable, preventing me to simplyou lose it, as it would be expected.Hope this helps!

DISCLAIMER: I WAS GIVEN THIS AS A PART OF A TRIAL PRODUCT, I WAS GIVEN THIS FOR FREE IN EXCHANGE FOR A UNBIASED AND HONEST REVIEW.Great product, best for long distance travellers like me.Delivery:Very fast and quick dispatch, thanks to FBA, it is very efficient and I was very impressed.Boxing:A simple minimalistic box, with the classic Anker white and blue colours.Build Quality:A great build quality, feels sturdy. It is made out of a matte black plastic shell. it feels great in the hand, and it should definitely get me through a few knocks. This version is much better than the PowerCore 10000 version, which doesn't feel as nice in the hand. The mesh bag provided was also a very welcome addition. The charging cable is a bit short for me, but it definitely feels quality, unlike some other brands, which includes poor charging cables.Real World Usage:With its 10000mAh cell, it easily gets me through the toughest of days while on school campus. I will taking this on my 15 hour flight in a few days time, and hopefully it will live up to my expectations.Verdict:It is once again, an amazing product from Anker, great build quality and from my usage, a great gadget for those of you whose phones don't last long enough. Great value and a must buy if love your gadgets like me, but also don't want to splash out too much cash. Great bang for your buck.

I’ve never been much of a believer in these carry-around power packs, had one in the early days and it didn’t impress but this one is changing my mind quickly. At only 9x6x2cm and weighing in at no more than a typical smart phone [I’m comparing it to the weight in hand of my Huawei P9] it’s small enough to fit in just about any pocket or bag so it can happily go unnoticed until you need it.I charged mine to full in a round 2 hours off the back of my Anker 6 port USB wall charger [it may have already been partially charged] and it held that charge for a week before I used it to recharge an iPad Pro 12” from 20% to full and my mobile from 15% to full with a bit of juice to spare..They’ve come a long way by the looks of things.Good solid construction with no flex in the plastic casing which is reassuring; I’ve had older models from elsewhere that have been very easy to tear down. Both the re-charge socket and the outlet socket, micro USB and USB A respectively, are on the same end which means it can be stored in a pouch without the need to remove it to charge etc. There’s a ‘test’ button that allows you to see how much charge is left with its 4 blue LEDs and these LEDs stay lit whilst charging so you can see the charge status of the power pack.Usual high standard of packaging and came bundled with a USB A to Micro USB charge cable and mesh carry pouch.

I have used the Anker PowerCore 10000 for just over a month now and so far, it has proven to be an awesome little power bank.As with all Anker products, presentation is second to none. The PowerCore arrived in a nifty little box including a carry pouch, Micro USB lead and user manuals. The PowerCore is a 10000mAh power bank and I expected it to be significantly larger to match its capacity. The dimensions come in at a mere 92 x 60 x 22mm which makes it smaller than Xiaomi’s impressive 10000mAh power bank. It is also very light at 188g.The design is basic but effective. The matt black rectangular design, touch plastic casing and smooth rounded corners makes the PowerCore comfortable in the hand or in the pocket. At the top, you will find four LEDs to show how much juice is left and on the side, a single Micro USB and single USB port. The PowerCore supports PowerIQ and VoltageBoost to deliver a fast charge output of 2.4A (12W). In my experience, I have been able to charge my Galaxy S6 from 0 – 100% three times before the PowerCore ran out of power. It supports auto-on, which means you simply plug in your phone or tablet and it will begin to charge.Overall, I am impressed with the PowerCore 10000. It is a fast, portable, high capacity and affordable power bank. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a power bank.

I plugged it in to charge it as soon as it arrived, it probably took 4-5 hours to fully charge it for the first time. WARNING: you don't get a corresponding plug with the charge cable which is USB-capable. This wasn't an issue for me as a lot of my electronic devices (phone, kindle etc etc) have USB-capable plugs so I just used one of them, but it's something to remember when you're buying if you don't have any of those on hand. (Obviously, a laptop would be fine too!)Handy little display shows how much charge is left, and the button on the side activates it once you plug something in. It comes with a little net bag that I'm actually able to fit my iPhone 5 into as well,so when it's charging I can keep them together easily. You might want to get a slightly larger bag/holder if you have a bigger phone though. As for the actual charging, it does the job brilliantly! I tend to continue using my phone as it charges so it goes a bit slower, but one day I did just plug it in and leave it in my bag and when I next went to check on it the battery was full (maybe 2 hours later?). It doesn't get hot at all meaning you can have it in your pocket, and it seems to lose one light of charge for each full charge I use it for on my iPhone - so I'd be able to get 3-4 full charges out of one use of the PowerCore.

This pocket full of power is fantastic for anyone who needs lots of charge in the size of a credit card. 10,000mAh is quite a number for something so small. Inside the box you can see from the pictures that you get the small breathable sleeve for the powerbank as well as a cable which fits nicely inside too. The charger takes around 6 hours to fully recharge but i was charging many other things at the same time so it might be faster. Its a great feeling when your out on holiday walking around towns and taking loads of pictures on your smartphone and then you see your battery is extremely low after only half a day of enjoying the outdoors. In comes the Powercore 10,000 from Anker.Plenty of charge for;Up to 4 charges of an iPhone 6 Plus (2900mAh approx.)5 times for an iPhone 7 (1900mAh approx.)3 charges for a Huawei P9 (3000mAh approx.)Bearing in mind the charger supports Anker's IQ Technology which optimises current to charge the device at its fastest without harming the battery. This powerbank overall is great, the size is small, the price is great and with super fast charging and long battery life. I would recommend this product.Thank you for reading.I was sent this product by Anker to give a unbiased opinion of this product. These words are from my experience and are genuine.

Used the Anker Powercore 10000 for a while now and I can safely say that it will be my new daily driver. It is quite durable and has survived many drops and scratches as you can see from my images. It features the same intelligent IQ charging system as my previous Anker Powercore 20000 so it can deliver the right amount quickly to my devices whether it is my 12.9 inch iPad Pro or my iPhone.I especially liked the compactness and weight of this charger what made it ideal for my daily commute. It felt like a feather in comparison to the previous Powercore 20000 which I found quite necessary due to my light usage.I found that it can fully charge my iPhone 5s more than 6 times. It comes with a usb cable and a nice handy bag, though I don’t really think anyone would use it.The only thing I found quite frustrating was the time it takes to fully charge this.It took about 9-12 hours to charge from 0% to 100% using my 5W Apple charger. However your charge time and mileage may vary based on the charging brick you use.Overall this is a fantastic compact high capacity portable charger albeit the slow recharge speed and I would definitely recommend it to any heavy device users who find their devices running out of juice quickly.

I bought a number of Anker products including 3 soundcore speakers (for myself, family and friends),Bluetooth earbuds and now this power bank. I have only previously had 1 problem with Anker products (a zip vault on a case for a soundcore speaker) and contacting Anker provided a very quick resolution. This power bank It has performed really well for the first couple of months and is excellent at providing the ability to recharge an IPhone 11 at least 4 times on a single charge but unfortunately mine developed a fault at an in opportune time whilst I was overseas in that it would no longer charge.A quick email to Anker and they sorted out a replacement immediately.(They even had a problem with Amazon delivery an empty package for the replacement which they sorted out in 24 hours). It’s fair to say that Anker provide good quality products at a fraction of the price to more well know brands. Yes you can buy even cheaper but my experience is that Anker provides the right balance of quality and value and in the unfortunate event that you have a problem have an excellent customer service ethic wanting to sort out any problems as quickly as possibleRECOMMENDED
