My Anker obsession continues, with the purchase of my second power bank. I already have a Powercore 20,100mAh which is great, but a tad heavy to lug around everywhere. I have a long haul flight coming up soon, and wanted something that would be suitable for carry-on baggage; not too heavy, not too big, but able to fast charge my Samsung Galaxy S8+ and be under the 'regulation' 100 watt hours to avoid any problems with heightened security checks.A quick search through the options on Amazon and I was left choosing between the very similar (in size, weight, power and price) 10,000mAh battery packs from RavPower and Anker. I opted for the Anker for three main reasons: it's the slimmer choice,it supports fast charging on my Samsung, I already have other Anker products so they are a known quantity when it comes to reliability etc.The power-pack itself is, if you'll excuse me getting excited about a battery, a thing of beauty. Yes, it's a black lump with a couple of USB sockets on it. But, it's also a very thin (1.5cm) black lump. Actually, calling it a lump is doing it an injustice. It's not only svelte (6.5cm x 13.5cm) and relatively light at a smidge over 200g, but very tactile. One surface is smooth plastic with a small Anker logo embossed, the other rubberized with the Anker name embossed large from side to side. There's a small flush button on the side which activates the blue LED charge remaining display. All four lights and I can charge up my S8+ a couple of times from near to nothing. What's more, courtesy of the very clever Anker +IQ charging system it does so very quickly as it fast charges (and properly, so that the phone displays it as a fast charge). Neither the battery pack nor the smartphone get overly warm either, certainly nothing out of the expected. So I assume the circuit inside is regulating the charge properly.Equally important, recharging the PowerCore itself a painless procedure. It has a micro USB socket, and plugging the supplied 60cm (bit on the short side, but who hasn't got some longer cables laying around these days?) into a suitable USB mains quick charge charger and it goes from zero to max in around four hours. That may sound a lot, but it sure beats the overnight charging I am more used to with these powerbank batteries. What else? I love the black 'net' bag with the drawstring top that comes with all these Anker batteries. That said, you don't really need it as this thing is slim enough to just slip into a backpack or handbag pocket. To sum up then. A very sturdily constructed, efficient and reasonably priced solution to that 'need a little bit more battery life' problem that we all end up running into when coupling long days with power hungry smartphones.

This is officially my daily carry. I have had so many different power banks now. ranging from huge monsterous things that really weigh your bag down, down to the ones that are the size of a lipstick. I love them all because mobile batteries are just so terrible these days. I am constantly looking for a power bank that is lighter in my bag but also allows me multiple charges. As a commuter I am always carrying a lot of stuff and having a bad back whatever I can do to the lighten the load I want to do.I saw that Anker had released a range of "Slim" power banks and thought they would just be a bit slimmer version of previous models so still pretty heavy but I was wrong. This thing barely weighs a thing.Being that it weighs less you would think you would be swapping capacity for weight but your really not. It still charges my iPhone 7 Plus 128GB multiple times which is handy as I enjoy watching Netflix and listening to Spotify for almost 4 hours per day while travelling.I love that charge time of the power bank has been greatly improved. about 4 hours to charge it compared to some of my others that just seem to take an age to charge. I do have an Anker Quick Charge 3 adapter which you need or similar QC3 to charge this quickly. - well worth the investment.Really happy with it. Looking forward to future models that get even lighter.

I was constantly having to re charge my iPhone 6s and needed more power when travelling or out for a day. This power bank has not let me down! I’ve not had it long but have been testing it to see how many full charges it will do. So far it’s done three full charges and is still showing 3 dots on the power pack. My reckoning is it will do at least 6+ full charges and it does a 0-100% charge in soon over an hour. You can still use your phone whilst it’s charging. The soft mesh case is great as you can carry the cables and charger in it too. I have a small handbag and it fits in perfectly! Very happy!Update on the product! I have been so pleased with my power pack which I received last week,BUT am giving it’s first full charge and after four hours of charging there is only one light on the light bar so not happy!!

This is quite simply a superb bit of kit!Perfect in every way for me. Its comfortable weight fits exactly behind an iPhone 6 in the palm of your hand and isn't heavy at all. The slightly rubberised base also means it doesn't slide all over the place if you had it on your car dash for example and is a nice added touch.I have managed so far to get about 5.5 full 0-100% charges of my iPhone 6 out of this bad boy and now take it every where with me.Genuinely the best power bank I have ever owned. On a side note, Anker's customer service team is fantastic and answered numerous emailed questions within 24hrs and with coherent and direct responses!

I found this charger great but the charging connection is loose and has to be propped to work.Is this a common problem?I had a response today from Anker and they suggested I use a different (the correct!) charging cable.Once again All is fine and Anker gets 5 stars.I have always bought their products and they always are of the highest standard and response with queries are quick. Many thanks to your company!I wasn't paid to write this in case you think I was!

Ive bought 3 of these now. 2 are brilliant but one seems to be faulty. It indicates it has battery, but when you plug your phone in it drops to 1 bar. If it loses charge completely it can take over 24 hours to charge up, which neither of the others I've purchased do. I sent a complaint to anker a few weeks ago and had no response.I would recommend this product but if it does any of the above then return immediately, as clearly they can be faulty.

Combines a high end look with great functionality. Anker always deliver, without fail. Its my second purchase of a powerbank in 3 years - my last one failed to charge up due to a voltage issue abroad, meaning there was a surge of power which affected the power bank. I bought a bigger alternative fron Anker as it's a very trust worthy manufacture. Comes with a very handy carry case and a charging wire. Would definitely recommend

It's nice. Compact yet holds enough power for heavy use. Only one output USB so if I wanted to share power between two devices it would be a problem but that hasn't arisen yet. It will fast charge itself and will offer different modes of fast charge to devices. For instance, my Xiaomi phone will fast charge from it but if the phone isn't being used, it shuts down for the power bank to go into an even higher charging mode.

Delivery:Was fast and efficient as promised and the packaging arrived in great shape.Product:As slim and fast as advertised and the surface of the Power Bank is not so easily scratched.Never have to worry about running out of battery and there is more than enough juice to share among the numerous devices I own. This is my 4th PowerBank from Anker and will definitely keep purchasing in the future

I bought the first one about a year ago and I have been really pleased with it. I gave it to my son when he was going on a trip so I bought another one. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks I had a problem with the lead but Anker were really helpful and quickly sent me a replacement one. Would definitely recommend as it has plenty of charge left, even after fully re-charging my phone.

What a fantastic little product perfectly sized to slide into my rucksack. I bought a small 1ft Anker powerline cable which fits neatly into the small carry case supplied. Combined with an Anker 24w 2 port usb charger it was fully charged and ready to go very quickly.I only received it today and already my Partner has ‘borrowed’ it so had to order another one. Should arrive Monday

Bought this product ahead of my holiday and was an absolute game changer as it kept charging our phones and tablets why we were abroad.Top tip: We used this top top up our phones and tablets instead of fully charging them which would kill the battery. The pounch is handy as you can slip your phone in while it charges as well.Great product. Worth the cash.

Anker has done it again! Great product to have with its very large battery capacity that charges my Switch twice without recharge and it comes with a nice feeling bag to keep it protected from any scratches and scuffs. Perfect product to have if in need of power away from a power outlet. I bought this for Gamescom 2018 and I won't be disappointed

Very happy with this product. It's able to charge my galaxy note 4 fully 3 times and exceeded my expectations when I realised it also ha's the capabilities to do fast charging and I was very impressed by it. You get a pouch and a cable with the anker product. Takes about 4-5 hours to fully charge the powercore. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve had this product since July of 2018 and I have only used it a handful of times since. It now no longer holds charge past the first led indicator, it’s useless nowEdit: after posting this, I was contacted by Anker customer support who were very quick to apologise and are sending out a replacement straight away, can’t fault!
