Took a bit of a punt on this for an extra Christmas present for my 8 year old daughter. I'm glad I did she loves this game. It's a platform game which very much reminds me of the games I used to play in the 90's, the ability to "twist" between world's adds an extra dimension to it. I'd say it's a good difficulty level for an 8 year old, challenging but not to the point of frustration. The artwork in the game is beautiful and the characters are appealing to little girls. Overall well worth the ten pound price tag.
