i was skeptical when amazon recommended this lawn mower, but it was the cheapest and has good ratings so i took the plunge.item arrived and straight away i can tell it is well made, it is sturdy and has some weight to it but not too heavy to lift or to handle, very simple and straight forward to assemble. the blades are not sharp at all. cutting height can be effortlessly adjusted. the design and how the thing functions speaks the well thought out process it went through.it gets the job done so easily, it felt like a pleasure to do it. there is no need to fiddle with electric extension and minding the cable which add to the enjoyment. you dont need to use full force,

Maybe a bit earlier to review this mower this is based on my first impression and fist use, mover arrived well packed and undamaged, only assembly was to put the handle together, mover set to second closest cut as grass was fairly short already, I did a paper cut to check the cut of the blades and would not even cut the paper just bend it over so not sure it's meant to or not with this type of mower, I was very impressed with the cut of the mower was very easy to push and a joy to use, I've always used a petrol rotary but my first impression is that the cut look so much better with the cylinder mower, I've ordered the grass collector, with do an update after a couple of months.

The mower is well made and neatly designed with the handle folding mid way - really useful for storing in sheds and smaller boxes such as keter storage. The cut is excellent and the mower is very quiet and smooth. Out of the box, it's very easy to assemble and relatively light to lift.My only negative (hence the 4 rather than 5 stars) is that I think the orange connector used for folding the handle would be better with a metal screw thread rather than the plastic, which if overtightened could be mashed. Hopefully with this in mind and respectful use, it should be ok.

Wow! What a great mower. I have 2 quite large gardens and yet I seem to be able to mow in less time than with my previous (electric) mower. No charging, no cables, no hassle. I have never used a petrol mower btw. Folds away neatly in the shed. Great Gardena build quality as standard. Nothing to collect clippings but I mow every day so happy to let the hormone rich clippings sit on the turf and stimulate growth. One of the best things I've bought in a long time.

Decided on a push/hand lawnmower as I didn't want to bother with extension leads and subsequent tedious lead-tangle-trip-cut-electrocution matters. Excellent, simple design, a joy to use. Grass trimmings are thrown into the air with such abandon as to block out the sun and turn day into night......ok, not quite but it cuts really well. Shame it has the look of a new training shoe about it, rather than classic hand lawnmower but you can't have it all.

Cuts shorter than my corded electric mower. Definitely quieter.... almost noiseless. Cuts at a good width which will shorten the number of rounds you have to make. Easy to stow away after use and almost maintenance-free. Only downsides are you will have to clear your garden of leaves and twigs before use as these can jam up the blades. Also does not cut that well when the grass is wet as the tall ones will just bend over. All in all, a good buy.

Very very pleased with my mower, I had a cheap mains mower before and like everyone never sharpened it. Easy to assemble and so pleasurable to use it, my neighbours keep stealing it. So nice to have no noise and no cables doing my head in. Most importantly I’ve been trying to rejuvenate my lawn and since using this I can see the grass is so much happier and spreading like crazy.

Build quality is second to non. I never taught that such a simple device might change the way how ti mow the lawn. Only downside is missing grass bag. I have to buy it separately. Really really stupid.

After decades of using petrol and electric mowers finally one that cuts the grass perfectly, is almost silent and very light to push. German engineering at its best.

Good quality easy to push and adjust. Folds up so takes little space in the garage.
