I bough this for Time Machine on my new iMac. I was going to buy a solid state hard drive but seeing my iMac as a mechanical hard drive I did see the point. I plug it into my iMac worked straight away no complicated set up no need to format. if you have Mac make sure you buy the one for the Mac other wise you may need to re-format your new external hard drive.

So far so good. Ordered for my MacBook Pro as it stated Mac ready and that’s exactly what it is. Plugged it in and was transferring data within seconds. I’ve used Western Digital and Samsung external drives on Windows laptops before and so far this is just as good. Thoroughly recommended for Macs.

Not had any problems so far, it's been particularly useful in providing additional space for RAM, especially when using Adobe Illustrator and other memory hungry software!!It's like having a power upgrade without the big price tag.(Macbook 13-Inch 2018 No Touch Bar)

Great product, it worked straight away when plugged into my Mac, no installation needed. Very fast transfer of files comparing to my older drive.

Purchased to back up Apple Mac! Seems to be working well does what it says on the tin! Doesn’t take up much space either
