Originally bought a FX4 for my tank and after 10 months it failed, the motor packed in, Fluval would not take responsiblity even though it supposed to have a 3 year guarntee??? My tank is set up with the pipe work etc for this filter so had to re purchase with another FX4 to fit. Hopefully this one will last more than 10 months. Fluval are supposed to be the best? Thats why i originally purchased this expensive piece of kit!!! But up to now they havent got my vote and still Fluval have not took responsibility for the original FX4

Easy to set up, quite easy operation. Didn't realise how inadequate my old filter was. Easy drainage system for water changes and the free gravel cleaner is a real bonus(make sure you see the offer for the free gravel cleaner on the box, if it is not advertised on the box you will have to pay extra for it) . Sent away for it and it was delivered just three days later.

This fits in the middle between the beast FX6 and the 406. Easy to set up and comes with everything you need but would recommend adding more biofilter material as fluval have been a bit stingy. No longer comes with the gravel vac though.

Everything about this filter is excellent, including the free gravel vac that you have to claim from Fluval, more expensive than most, but well worth the extra cash, and fantastic next day delivery too.

Quality product if a bit expensive. Does the job,easy to set up and no leaks, but the jury is still out on noise levels. Definitely wouldn't use on Tank in Bedroom. Still trying to reduce noise levels.

So easy to set up. Don't need to prime it starts itself. Easy to empty.refill & clean. Pretty much does it all itself. Expensve but worth it.

Replaced my oase 350.with this filter. Brilliant not to big fits in my. Cabinet lovely. Runs very quite. An excellent product from Fulval.

The fluval fx 4 it's an amazing filter I have a 6-ft tank and my tank is crystal clear extremely easy to setup and runs without problems

I have not had to change the media yet but the water changes have been very easy and the tank is clearer than it ever has been
