The Universal 3 Building Kit is a great introduction to this, the most expandable construction system yet devised for children.As it stands this kit can be used to construct at least 40 working models. It is well within the ability of a 7 year old to master and be stimulated by the system. As the budding technologist matures so can their F/T system be extended almost without limit. Indeed it could keep pace with them through primary, secondary and tertiary education and support them past their PhD into a career in technological research, should that prove to be the path they choose.Word of warning to the lucky recipients. Remember - it is not your dads.

I bought this for my 10 years son,and he really loves it!Can learn structure of stuffs or science principle with this toy while enjoying.It is very educational.
