I am a huge fan of FIFA games on the Vita and actually choose to play the Vita version over the console versions. For me, the Vita is the perfect platform for FIFA and other sports games because of the pick up and play ability and the ability to stop a game midpoint and pick up in the same place days later. Being in my late 20's with a career and having to share the TV with the mrs, my days of taking Accrington Stanley from League 2 to the Premiership in a single day on my PS3 are well and truly over, but being able to play as and when I want on the Vita, makes FIFA fun again! Hooray for console quality FIFA on the go!!FIFA 15 is a Legacy Edition, which means that only small changes have been made since the first instalment of FIFA Football on the Vita. Kits and Players have changed, yet gameplay and graphics etc are virtually the same as previous versions. For me, this is not necessarily a problem, I still like this game and am glad that I have upgraded (from FIFA Football), but take a look below to see some of the changes/lack of changes I have identified and the pros and cons in my opinion. What has changed?* New kits and player face models have been updated* New Teams (Both Club and International additions)* New Players (Updated player ratings also)* New Balls (Including the Brazuca Series)* New Soundtrack (Short and sweet)* Online Play has been removed (This may return in a later update, but I doubt it)* Standing Tackles (Can no longer hold X to chase the opposing player. This changed for FIFA 13 and is still present in this version - no option to turn this off)What hasn't changed? (Things I would expect to be in this version by now)* No new commentary (As far as I am aware)* No New Stadiums (FIWC stadium has also been removed as there is no online)* Skill Games (These have been present in console versions since FIFA 12, but are yet to reach the Vita versions)* Player Face Models (Some `big' players that you would expect to have photo realistic faces still have edited faces - Raheem Sterling, James Rodriguez and Danny Wellbeck to name a few)* Not Enough Licensed International Teams (After the World Cup, I expected FIFA to step up and get all the National teams licensed. This is not just isolated to the Vita and is a problem for all console versions also)* More International Tournament Options (No World Cup/Euro Modes yet)* Pitch Wear (Some descriptions of the game state that pitch wear is present in the Vita version - It is not!)* In-game Cut Scenes (These are the same as the previous Vita versions)* Man-to-Man challenging (This would have been a nice feature for the Vita)* No option to use your own music in the game (would be nice as the soundtrack is really short)What are the Pro's* Still has the same brilliant gameplay (If it ain't broke, don't fix it)* Brilliant Graphics (Some things could be a little more polished, but for a handheld these graphics are amazing!)* New Kits and Players (This was a must for me)* New International Teams (Wales! Wales! Finally!!)* Editing of Players, Teams and Stadium Names (Available in previous versions, but a must for authenticity for me)What are the Con's* Bald Players (EA have made the effort to add new faces in the game, but have left some of them bald! Shaw and Lallana to name a few)* No Online Play (Not really a con for me as I don't play online, but a big part of the game to take out and not advertise this on the case...bad form EA!)* No September Transfer Deadline Updates!!* Short Soundtrack with few `good' songs in my opinion (Would be nice to use your own music in the game)* Wales National Anthem (Non-existent! Bit of a personal complaint as I follow Wales and would have liked the anthem in the game)* Unable to transfer your Virtual Pro from previous versions (I spent a lot of time with my virtual pro and am sad to have to start him up again)* No New Stadiums (Would have expected a couple of World Cup stadiums and new Big Team stadiums)* Soundtrack sometimes plays parts of songs from the old soundtrack and then jumps back to the new soundtrack...weird!* No Skill Games (I like the Be a Pro style at the start of games, but would have liked a couple of skill games as a separate option. Could have been good with the touch screen!* Commentary seems a bit sparse(No new additions, still a good show but the games can appear a bit quiet at times)* Would like an option to revert the stand tackle control back to the first version (i.e. hold down X to chase & tackle)Overall, I am generally happy with FIFA 15 on the vita. I was in great need of an update from the first Vita version and got the new teams, kits and players that I was looking for. Personally I think that around £25 quid is a bit much and would have expected the retail version to sell for between £18 - £20, with a digital version for around £15, however with Vita selling few units and FIFA being a big franchise, I can see why the cost has been ramped up to £25.I would not have wanted the gameplay to change, as I love the existing set-up and have done so since I bought the Vita back in 2012, but I can understand that some people are a bit unimpressed with the update. If you are not that precious about having updated teams, kits and players, I would recommend that you stick with the previous versions, as no other changes have been made to the game, however If you are like me and are in need of an update or are new to the series on the Vita, I would definitely recommend FIFA 15 on the Vita.Looking back at my list there are more cons than pros, in terms of considering this as an update, but taking this game as a stand-alone product, which as the end of the day, it is, FIFA 15 on the vita gets 4/5 Stars from me!Hope this has helped!RMG Reviews

Okay first off I have heard a lot about online lagging issues I haven't had any and I played for around 8 hours from 2pm the day of release as I finish work at 1 on Fridays, so maybe that's why it was smoother for me, but it played well through the evening when I expected more people to login and slow down the servers.Let's talk more about the game, the first thing you will all be glad to hear is that corners are no longer as easy to score! Which is a relief considering the matches I have lost in Fifa 14 included the opposition wasting time after a sweaty goal. You also lose coins for conceding goals and fouls (only around 10-30coins)but even still this is a welcome new addition for myself.I do not yet know if any punishment has been put in place for people who quit the games which is what annoyed me on Fifa 14 I had a game wasted with no result and then no way of promotion! The goal keeper is just as described even if he makes the mistake of jumping the wrong way, depending on the reflexes, my keeper still punched a hand out to his left stopping the ball as he was diving right. The only thing that bugs me is that my players can run in to each other and knock each other over… the reaction time for avoiding this is non exisitent! Then Rodriguez and Tello are left bumbling on the floor giving the opposition that 3 seconds to counter ahead up the pitch and create a chance. In FUT I do like the fact you can loan players I already have Ibrahimovic for 2 games! Also they have brought back position modifiers which was a happy surprise as even though a LW can play in a LM position it just is better if you can get it to match for full green chemistry, also it will come in handy when wanting players like Khedira to play CAM or Gerard to play CDM.The graphics are a MAJOR IMPROVEMENT, not that they were bad before but the detail and body mechanics really gets you lost in the game making it feel like your watching an actual match, that your controlling actual people and not little stubby people that have limits to movement because its a game. The power of your shots affect the rest of the players much more for example with Torres hitting one with his right foot forward forces the left side of him to pull back for what looks like a TV finish every time.I don't work for EA or anything I just think 2 sentence reviews are a big waste of time that angry people do to think they're hurting the company, for those who online gaming is an issue with this product its a matter of EA pulling an update out their whatever and problem solved. Also with the amount of people logging on to their serves I expected them to have issues just like apple does with their website when trying to pre order.I have been anitciptating this game since ordering on June 10 when it was available for pre order and all in all I am completely happy with the turn around that EA have done.Well done EA, now make your money on Fifa Points because some people can't play and just want good players.

Each year I buy Fifa for the updated teams, player statistics and new 'physics' they implement and while things have't taken a huge step forward for a long time now, the old generation version still has a full premiership license with all 20 stadiums and improved presentation to boot. While ultimate team applies to most, I am exclusively a career mode player and always have been. Improvements in this game mode are clear from the start with the improved graphical team setup as opposed to the typical, bland list of player names. This allows custom formations to be created much easier and teams to be changed much faster, allowing a much more streamlined route from game to game. The second generation of the scouting network has also had a significant improvement with a full scout of a player giving a definitive overall and stats instead of just estimates. This means that a players statistical value is visible before enquiring so there is far less chance of overpaying for players this year too.Asking the board for extra money has also been changed so that it can only be requested twice per season in the two transfer windows as opposed to getting a few extra million whenever you want to negotiate contracts.A nice change in Fifa this year (in my opinion), is the injury system. I find top players getting injured far more often and while injuries can be turned off completely, I find myself always leaving them on for that injury crisis scenario that managers will always have to face.However...While I find myself enjoying this years game much more, there is one major problem. Referees. While EA and the Fifa development team say the same thing every year about the refs apparently 'improving', they actually seem to be getting worse! In just my first day of playing, this became obvious with crazy decisions going either in my favour or against me. Whether it was an obvious red card taking down the last man, or an obvious penalty taking out the man in the box and getting none of the ball, crucial decisions are just crazy in this game.To sum up, Fifa is the same old football game that we love with a massive library of leagues and teams. Always worth the £40 every year in my opinion and while putting up with just bad decisions can be difficult, I would never consider jumping ship to the PES counterpart and losing the familiar feeling of FIFA and the licenses they have to offer.

I have played this to death since getting it yesterday morning, so I have given it a good chance, had 35 plus matches mixed up between ultimate team, and seasons on-line, now people saying that it is not an improvement on fifa 14 seriously need to take there head for a wobble or if they still own it pop it back in for five mins and thats all it will take to make you realise that you were seriously wrong, the graphics are outstanding, so much going on, on and off the pitch, its nice to see that the defenders no longer seem like they are auditioning for a circus act, there is still some very odd things that happening on a far too regular basis for my liking though, like tracking back to make a challenge, players falling over each other like flying in the air, what's that all about EA?? The new goalkeeping physics are far too over the top every keeper needs a drugs test, what is very realistic though is that Danny Welbeck still cant hit a barn door, never seen him score yet playing with him or against him, 7 plus games with arsenal involved in total, I still think its an improvement on 14 by a long way, I played fifa 14 on PS4 for all of 2 hours before putting it on ebay, it was awful, im onto day to and im not going back to 13 this time, people complaining about lag playing online, its going to struggle with the amount of demand for the first week or so, I understand its frustrating but on Xbox One I have not had many problems with lag personally although I have been disconnected a fair few times half way through a game, also its a massive bonus that EA have put back in custom tournement mode, not having tournement mode again would have been a utter disaster! overall im pretty happy, maybe a patch or two down the line will sort this out to be a very playable and enjoyable game!

NOTE - unfortunately there are some issues with internet connectivity which are hindering positive reviews for FIFA15 - at the time of writing the only way to make FIFA15 run without lag (and without logging out of PSN) is to change your router settings to disable UPnP. My review is based on having made that change and playing FIFA15 without a hitch ever since. If you are a casual gamer that likes to pick up and play FIFA just every so often then you may not notice the differences between FIFA14 and FIFA15, however if you play regularly (2 or 3 times a week or more) you will. For starters a new difficulty level has been introduced (Beginner) - this can make the game look easy,as almost every shot is on target and you end up with scorelines of 16-0 etc. however on the higher levels the game excels.Previous complaints in earlier versions of FIFA seem to have been addressed, for example, the opposition players will now slide tackle AND will be booked for mis-timed tackles - in fact, during one match I played, the opposition had 5 players booked, 1 of which was sent off, which is something I have never experienced in any previous version of FIFA. The realism is what makes the game worth it for me though - defenders clearing the ball for a throw in, players losing the ball and recovering it, toe poke tackles, volleys (when you expect them!), great saves, defensive headers back to the goalkeeper, enhanced crowd reactions, players showing frustration when a shot is missed, more realistic passing moves, it's just so fun to play. I do play FUT a fair amount so I opted for the Ultimate Team Edition, it's better value for money than spending money on FIFA points to get your gold packs, however if you don't intend to play FUT then I would recommend buying an alternative version.

This game is unbelievably good. So many times in the past the year on year improvements in the game are minimal, but I genuinely think the graphics (in particular stadium designs and players faces) have improved dramatically, as has the gameplay with much more realistic movements and motions of players. In regard to the lag problem people are experiencing, I too was gutted when my game started doing this (in ordinary off line matches) on launch day. After restarting my console a few times and seeing it made no difference, I sat up half the night searching for solutions online. Thankfully I found it, and my game is now working perfectly!!! It is poor form from EA sports however, that buyers have to fix something straight away that they have paid good money for. This is the only bad thing I can say about this game.... To cure lagging problems on your game (even in offline mode), go onto the internet on your laptop/tablet/computer and type your IP address into your address toolbar (if you can't find your IP address put it into google "whatismyip" and it should appear as the top result). This should bring you into a screen where you can log into your router settings. (You may need a username and password, the username is normally admin and the password is found on the back of your wireless router (the administrator password, not your standard wi-fi login password)).Once you are logged into your router settings, go to advance settings or advance management, then port management or firewall (depending on your Internet Provider). Here you should find an option to select or deselect Universal Plug N Play (UPNP or PNP). If you deselect all your PNP functions and restart your PS4, you should find FIFA 15 works perfectly! Worked for me, hope it works for others.

After Fifa 14 I was curious as to how Fifa 15 would be different, but EA have pulled the cat out the bag and made a great game! The Visual effects for a start are great, the crowd is more responsive and the 20 Premier Leaugue grounds look great, also the wear & tear of the pitch during the game is a smart addition, although it is a bit over dramatic and maybe pushes it a little too far by the end of the game, also the players kits now get muddy the more your player slides/dives etc. Which is a smart idea. The overall game play is good, the players feel more responsive and have a much wider range of movements both on & off the ball and the goalkeepers have much improved motion range, the only downside is when you are playing with a lower league team, I started a pro career with Accrington Stanley and the AI bots would do sloppy unrealistic things like needlessly run the ball out of play, or run it into the corner of your own half before punting the ball out for no reason! One thing I would improve is the commentators, it really winds me up when they say something irrelevant (Pedantic I know)Some of the things they say just spoil it, for example I scored a goal into the hard right corner, then Alan Smith starts babbling on about how it was easy & straight down the Middle! Also the amount of times they say "The heat was on but he stayed in the kitchen" is baffling and its such a stupid thing to say! But to be positive the addition of them going through the Team sheet (only in the higher leagues) is another way the game adds towards realism.Overall I would give the game 8/10. Alot of fun and some really good improvements, but still hindered by little mistakes.

i have loved all fifa games. the detail to graphics and gameplay. only downside for me is that although they have made the dribbling and attacking better they forgot to really upgrade the defending for online pro clubs. its seems to be a whole lot easier to score from distance. hit a good shot from around 30 yards out and chances are you score, but when 1 on 1 with the keeper and seems he may have the upper hand. big downside is that you keep getting paired with useless players in pro clubs that dont pass and keep losing the ball or sub your player cause your doing better than them. also in pro clubs it seems that the AI players take alot of the corners, free kicks and penalties when there are even CAM's or ST's on the pitch that can take them.something that really shocked me is the Snow. last fifa only a bit of snow here and there and the pitch was frozen making the ball skip when playing a lobbed pass. this year the pitch is pure white with some green so if your the white team your gonna have problems seeing your players. not a big fan of the celebration system. i like the way it zooms in on the goal scorer so if you didnt score then you wont see your celebration all that often. and when you do score and are doing a celebration some times it cuts off to a defender looking unhappy that you just scored.career mode seems to have been upgraded with how good your players are preforming then their rating may go up or down.havent really got into the Ultimate teams yet.

First of all lagging is to do with internet settings so you guys need to disable UPNP (universal plug and play) you can do that from your network settings its really easy on bt just find port forwarding on home hub page and disable the UPNP then see game flows no lag whatsoever and the game itself is pretty good i would say graphics are quite impressive gameplay could be better when ball hits the post or bar it doesnt sound realistic they could never pull this off and also shooting is weird its hard to score from distance let alone just inside the box keepers seem to have one step ahead of you all the time.Chipping doesnt look good despite the fact that i managed to score couple. It seems likethey made goalkeepers intelligent enough so players have to be right in front of goal to beat them.however pitch is alive gets dirtier players argue with each other etc.i like the fact that you got more leagues this year more players you can have in ultimate team lets be honest if EA made everything the best you wouldnt need to buy next years game so every year they just add some new touches the bring excitement thats the way it is i dont see the point of signing loan players just for couple of matches thats another way of saying you cant find the likes of ronaldo or messi in packs so there you go have it for 4 matches.they have all the stadiums from premier league but i would have liked to see even more stadiums it would bring more atmosphere from different countries more chants.

I've little to say in addition to a lot of the negative reviews on this (expect that I think they're being ever so slightly too harsh). I've traded mine in and I've happily returned to FIFA 14, which despite its faults, seems to be the best I can do right now for football simulation on the PS4. I wouldn't give this less than 3 stars, however. It's still FIFA and when you're on the attack this game is great fun, only not so much fun when your opponents are attacking. The attack centric gameplay makes it far too easy to score for both parties. If you're pretty cool with an arcade like game that finishes 4-4 with startling regularity, then this is the game for you. I don't mean that in a derogatory way,I'm guessing there are people around who like that sort of thing. But I'm writing this review chiefly because of a suspicion: there seem to be a large number of reviews giving this game 5 stars and giving us only a word or two about it. Is this odd or has this become the norm for reviews of video games? I just didn't expect to find so many "I've never played it but my son loves it, so am giving this 5 stars" type reviews. It's really skewed the data and it gives the game an undeservedly high average rating. What you repeatedly find are a handful of 5 star reviews like the one I mention followed by more detailed low scoring reviews. What's that about? Is is just that one group of people are very easily pleased or are so eager to review a game they've never played?

Another year a new Fifa. This year however is the breakthrough year (unless you're crap of course, hence the 1 star reviews!)GAMEPLAY:Gameplay is massively improved with controls as slick as can be, fast tempo matches make for a goal machine that Fifa 14 certainly wasn't.GRAPHICS:Life like graphics from that of a real footy match. Replicates watching Super Sunday on Sky Sports. Player visuals are the best they've ever been and finally the crowd look real and not like cardboard cut outs. All 20 PL stadiums are included too which is good.COMMENTARY:Never been a fan of it on Fifa, but this year it's improved somewhat. Hard to explain, they're just not as annoying as previously!TITLE SCREEN:Slick and great.Playlist is great, too.Best Fifa yet. Cudos EA!3 DAYS IN EDIT:After 3 days of playing this virtually non stop, I am happy to say this is the best football game ever made. Adding additional information about my point that it's more realistic than ever, I've come to notice a few things I didn't pick up on at first. How the pitch gets wear and tear throughout the game, or how there'll be a stadium announcement mid match because someone's car will be towed away. (There's always one plonker who parks on double yellow lines!)I've also learnt how defending is the key to victory. Goals are easy to come by in Fifa 15, to the point if you concede less than 4 goals, you have a shot at winning! So overall this is GREAT GET IT!

Another year, another fifa. So does it cut the mustard? For me, it does and it dies it very well. I love feeling like I'm in a game and fifa 15 certainly does that. It's the closest your going to get without being actually there, in surround sound it sounds amazing! Fifa has a great formula and not a lot needs to be changed. EA have made lots of little changes, not all noticeable at first as some our very small, like the 5th assistant. My favourite has to be the ability to have several different squads setup. So for example, I have my prem team, champs league and a cup team and can select which team to use before the game starts. Saves a lot of time and helps to manage who you need to buy in the transfers. As for the gameplay,it's very similar, but just feels more responsive and sharper. The players run, pass and tackle better.Graphics wise, it's also slightly better, it's the crowds and stadiums that have had a massive uplift and it really shows. It's a hard game when you go beyond world class and takes some getting use too and I can see why people are getting frustrated and giving it one star, but it would be a very boring game if it was easy! I would advise looking up slider options to customise it to your playing style.Overall if you enjoyed fifa 14, you'll love fifa 15!!!!

Much improved on the utter abomination that was FIFA 14 but still not a patch on 12 or 13 in terms of being enjoyable. There is still too much emphasis on "being realistic" IMO and not enough on the game being fun to play. It's ok though and a pleasant surprise after last year. Defending is impossible, passing is a bit of a struggle compared to 13 but you can at least retain control of the ball again so games are much less scrappy than last year and opossession isn't continually going from one side to the other in midfield. Pace has been reintroduced which is nice, last year it was so slow and unless you had Ronaldo everyone else was much of a muchness in terms of pace but once again pace is a weapon for many players and you no longer need to be Real Madrid online to compete.Despite EA's obsession with making the game realisitic the stats seem a bit all over the place so for some reason united *spits* appear to be one of the best teams in Europe despite being about 10th in the Premier League and struggling against footballing giants like Leicester at the time the game was made. And as usual rooney appears to be about as good as Messi and Ronaldo which I think we can all agree is not realistic at all.

I am very pleased with this years Fifa. I always have high expectations of Fifa when it comes out, and while I do think my expectations have been exceeded, I still feel like more should have been done to really make it feel realistic. One of EA's main objectives was to make it 'feel' like the real thing. Although they have improved this there are fundamental issues that they simply have overlooked. The stadiums are still so quiet and lifeless...Why???.. This was an easy thing to improve and would make the game 100% better. It's like you're watching behind glass, there is no atmosphere.Fans want to experience the roar of the crowd when a team equalises, the chants of the crowd when their team is thrashing the opposition, the mania of the last minute winning goal.Sadly, weather you are away from home and score a consolation goal or you are at home and score a last minute winner the crowd react the same... From a mumble during play to a feeble slightly louder mumble as if there's cheering going on 5 miles away....I was really hoping for this to be improved like it was in FIFA World Cup Brazil.Anyway, the rest of the game is impressive and an all round improvement.Shame I can't give it 5 stars.

This game's brilliant. Thankfully, I've had no lag issues or glitches so far. The soundtrack is the best to date and the gameplay is a lot more fluid. The players touches are more realistic- you have to time your tackles right otherwise the opposition skips past you, graphics are good too with a lot of detail to stadiums and players faces. I like how you can give each player individual instructions on the formation page, you really notice it during gameplay.Scoring was very easy to begin with so I play on world class mode and win by about 2 or 3 goals. If you like an intense game though, just up the difficulty to legendary- this gives me sweaty armpits though so I don't do it regularly.Overall it's a great game. It's an improvement to fifa 14. The commentary could do with a slight overhaul but I really enjoy the gameplay. I've had every fifa since 1995 and have never been disappointed.
