Having owned FIFA 2004 and FIFA 2005, and enjoyed both of these doing the career mode with my dad, it seemed logical to buy FIFA 2006.When I first got it on day of release, I couldn't wait to get started. I must admit that my first session on it was a great disappointment as it was just too different from FIFA 2005 in terms of cameras and controls to be enjoyable. Back in the box it went. My dad then asked me what it was like as he was keen to play it. I told him that FIFA 2005 was so much better and that FIFA 2006 wasn't worth it.He convinvced me to try again, and wow do I thank him for it! Once I worked out how to set cameras and difficulties, and also got used to the slightly slower play in the matches,

Fifa games, I got to admit I've enjoyed all of them, except Fifa 64, but that was quickly sorted with the rest of the Fifas on the N64, especially road to world cup and 99, great games! The gamecube games of fifa have been superb too. In my opinion better than playstations as I've played both versions of 2003 and 2004. But 2006 on gamecube is just as good. Good fun, good challenge and yes at times hard to score and yes a few little problems, like no low shots, well that I've seen, some of the commentry can be a little off putting by saying things that aint happening or is too late to respond, but its like that on pes 5 too that I have on the xbox and most footy games. But apart from them problems the game is good!

I got this game for Christmas and i game is excellent i can't stop playing it. I enjoy the game play as all i play is the season mode which is really good. I think the only downfall with this game is that the transfer marketis not that good on the season mode, as you don't deal with millions for players and its very hard to sign players. The game play is great and much better than pro, if you don't have this game then get it, its quality.

Fifa has slowly been getting better and better and now id say its definatly as good, if not better than pes, ok it still has the standard niggling faults, such as the inability of your keepers to react to rebounds (if you stick it on world class then this is pretty much erradicated), but overall the game plays spot on. so if your after better graphics, licensed players/teams and better single player then go for fifa.

I got this game a few days after it came out and I was shocked to find out how good it was,the graphics are ace,the players mostly have high skill levels,but most of all you can tell which player is which.WICKED!
