This is a great addition to my SDS drill. I always used to get the wife to help and hold a dustpan and vacuum nozzle underneath any masonry holes being drilled indoors. It was always a juggle for space and didn't work very well. This changes that.I've just drilled 32x 6mm holes for some IKEA shelving brackets, using this Festool nozzle with my workshop vacuum, which is essentially a Henry. The vacuum fits well without any tape or similar, with the right-angle removable section that came with the Festool nozzle being removed and not required in this case.On my lining-paper covered walls the nozzle held in place every time. At the end of the job, I literally did no extra cleaning. One of the photos I've added shows the collected brick dust on the white skirting boards after drilling 8 holes in a vertical line above it.My drill's depth stop works past the side of the nozzle without issue.I would say that the air does make a fair bit of noise in the nozzle, but then drilling holes in bricks does too so no problems with ear defenders to help.I also ordered a Bosch setup at 3 times the price of this, but didn't even open it as this is just what's needed. This Festool part is also small enough to fit in my drill's box for next time, unlike other larger styles. If you have a momentary trigger vacuum, like a handheld Dyson for example, this might not be quite so useful as of course the dust collection would then not be hands free.Buy one of these Festool nozzles if you have a suitable vacuum. At £20 it's ideal.

Ok I’m gonna make this short (cause I wrote two previous reviews for this little beast here and both got erased before I sent em ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️).Get this. You won’t regret it.No dust or debris while drilling.Cleaner holes cause the dust gets sucked out while the actual drilling is taking place so the bits can do their work(much like when sanding with/without Dust Extraction).Great design. Sticks to the surface easily. You can take out the pivoting angled adaptor part if you prefer sticking that hose straight in.Just swivel it around till you find a notch in the ring, line it up with the adaptor -protruding-plastic-part ,and pull it out.easy.That’s Festool for ya...making work ...andlife ,clean, easy, and fun!Go go go go go go go go!!??????????????????‍♀️??‍♀️???????✨❄️❤️?❤️??

As others have said I suspected it might be a bit of a gimmick, but given the effort I've had to take in the past to prevent brick dust hitting the newly painted skirting board and the carpet, I thought it was worth a punt. It fits my shop vac attachment well and sticks to the wall like glue once the vac is switched on. I've used it twice so far, both times into brick, and on both occasions it was totally dust free. The first time was a papered wall and the second a masonry painted brick wall. Suction was great on both surfaces. All I would say is that you need to position it carefully before you switch on the hoover as once it's in place it's a challenge to adjust i.e.it stick so well you won't be able to nudge it into position.

I don’t write product reviews often, but felt the need to rave about this fantastic product. I do quite a lot of DIY at home, including drilling, and this thing is a game-changer! I really don’t know why I didn’t get it sooner; it could have made life so much easier considering the amount of drilling I’ve done in the past! No more dust and debris getting in your face, leaving you to focus on the job at hand. It stays on the wall very well (by suction) allowing two-handed drilling, so no assistance required. Better yet, little to no cleaning up to do post-drilling as all the stuff you usually hoover up from the skirting board, floor and furniture ends up in the hoover WHILST drilling.Probably my best DIY purchase in a long time.

Very happy. The most annoying thing when my partner ask me to drill a hole for hanging a picture or anything else is not the doing it's the ear ache I get afterwards about the dust.... but no more. Yes in real terms it's expensive for what it is but as far as festool goes I thought it was pretty cheap. Makes clean-up after a job a snap because there is no clean-up. Provided your Hoover has a little bit of suck it will get every molecule, no more trails of brick dust down the wall or trying to follow the drill in and out of the hole.A great addition to the tool kit for any tradey working in a clean environment.

This nozzle is the next best thing to having someone hold a hoover for you. The rubber cuff snugly fit the nozzle of my henry hoover, and then with the hoover switched on, it's easy to place the dust nozzle in place before you start drilling. The view of the job, and measuring when to stop drilling is a bit trickier, but the removal of dust from the hole, and from your drill bit after drilling is brilliant. No marks left on the wall, even with black cinder bricks under a white painted wall.

I thought this might be a bit of a gimmick and possibly a waste of time and money.Boy was I wrong! this is my new most favourite tool. I have just drilled 200 holes in a mixture of plasterboard, brick and block using this and I think at most I had a pinch of dust escape and most of that was stuck to the drill and dropped off when I put the drill down. This holds very well onto flat plastered walls with its sponge rubber seal and well enough on brickwork even when spanning a mortar line!

This is amazing - I have used dust collecting things before but never one as good as this.IT STICKS TO THE WALL SO FREEING YOUR HANDS.Turn on the vacuum, connect the gizmo, place it on the wall, and hey presto it stays there by suctionand still has the guts to suck every scrap od brick dust.BLOODY WONDERFULI've ordered two more for son and son-in-law for Christmas.Worth its prize believe me.(NB you may need to buy and extesnion to fit the vaccum)

I am not a Festool junkie but I do have a CT26 vacuum and an older track saw as well as at Rotex sander. Though I like the quality it is far too often that the price scares you away. So it was a nice surprise to find this for a reasonable price. Even better that it works great too!Once on the wall it is held up by the vacuum letting you get on with drilling the hole. No dust left afterwards - very nice!

Fantastic bit of kit. Simple and well designed. Looks like it would fit any domestic vacuum. If not, resort to gaffer tape.To stress the point, I am made up with this gizmo; it really works and your wife/customer will love it too!

The cheapest and probably one of the most useful festool purchases I’ve made. Sticks to the wall very well and removes all dust from drilling. Red bricks behind white painted plaster wall and not a trace of drilling dust

Had to drill a 10mm hole in a thick stone wall from interior to exterior. There was no noticeable dust within the room after the process and room did not require significant cleaning afterwards Very impressive!

19.7.2019

This clever device sticks to the wall perfectly, does not obscure the drilling, stays put and sucks up all the dust. It's pricing is consistent with Festool - premium product for a premium price. So worth it!

16.2.2018

Used immediately and was brilliant. No dust and self-holding With hoover.Worth the money to save on clean-up time and keeping things clean.Client impressed on professional job done

22.6.2015

Clear and useful. Stops making a mess, but only good it your dust extractor is handy as a lot of times it may just be easier to hoover up the dust afterwards anyway.
