Bought this for the arrival of puppies. Glad we did. My dog delivered 9 puppies. Height wise it's great and the fact you can extend the panels, small lip at gate, good for mum to get out but not pups (at the moment) mum can come and go as she pleases and her little family are safe. Very sturdy both for inside and outside use. Lots of room for puppies to grow. Could also be used for playpen. I can't praise this item enough, it has everything we need.8 weeks later:Our little puppy family are now 8weeks old and very active. They now leave and enter the pen on their own when the gate is open. We have added all the panels now and there is plenty of room for the puppies to sleep,

We wanted are puppies to be crate trained but allow them to have space to roam [we have 2 chugs who are very small in size]. This particular height is fantastic for puppies, continuing on to dogs of a small age. You can chose to use all pieces or not; you can have it in a circle, square, or just choose to cordon off a section of a room. Very very sturdy and safe- no sharp wires or corners that a dog could injur themselves on. It is a heavy product (which is not at all a bad things) but just means taking this from place to place is not it's best function [only as we took this away on holiday to continue with training and mimic the home environment/ routine]. Best price on amazon also!

Works well. Temporarily in two pieces, part outside and part inside. Likely to buy another to make one larger run/pen outside. I like the handles as they give an easy grip for removing and inserting rods. Plus no worries about anyone stumbling and impaling themselved on the rods like in other designs. Rods can be turned so the handle rests on the top of the panel, avoiding damage to wood floors. Rods are handy to hang pull toys on. Only drawback is the little plastic ends fall off and a couple of rods were missing them when it arrived. But resting the handle on the panel coutners that. Slight bit of rust where paint chipped from door handles but easily repaired.

I am really impressed with this puppy pen we got one for our golden retriever puppy it is absolutely perfect for him and much nicer than putting him in a crate. There is plenty of room for his bed a blanket for him to lie down on and a water bowl at the bottom. It is so easy to assemble and I know that my puppy will be safe when he is in. I would give this product five stars. I was unsure whether to get the 80 cm high or the 1 m high I decided to go for the 80 cm and that is definitely the best decision as it means I can still lean into the pain but he cannot get out.

Have a puppy arriving shortly and purchased this based on reviews and not disappointed. Had it set up in less than 5 minutes. Very well made and had rubber to stop scratching floor. I’m very impressed with this and highly recommend.When the puppy no longer needs this I will use for the rabbit for a summer run and throw away the cheap metal one that took me ages to assemble each summer. Well worth the money. Update - had puppy for 5 weeks now and this run is perfect - crate fits inside the run with loads of room for puppy when we need to leave the room briefly

Not sure how it will stand up to our sea salt air, I bought it to stop my mini dachshund getting under the drive gates...but it looks great and I found an immediate temporary use for it inside to protect wiring from being chewed! I have bought a variety of similar puppy fence/playpens, and this seems the best value and most attractive of the lot. Next day delivery with Amazon Prime, a helpful instruction leaflet although it wasn’t really needed...couldn’t be easier to put together and very nice and shiny.

We are using this for rabbits and I can confirm that the metalwork is tough enough to prevent a bunny breakout through the bars.It's easy to put together and take apart, the joints being simply secured by long pins.The latches on the gate are bent in such a way so as to prevent them being accidentally opened - a good design.Overall you are better off spending a bit more on this than one of the cheaper wire ones.

Bought to keep my Westie safe. Love the fact that it is modular and can be configured in different shapes. Also good that it can be added to if we wish to expand its size by adding another one to it. Good that it is in sections also so we can use it inside or out of our caravan awning. Bought some velcro ties so we can attach his sleeping crate to it, with a cover over this he also has shelter and a safe place.

Ideal for our cocker spaniel puppy. Pen is very sturdy and well made...considering our dog likes to jump up on the sides!! Very handy that you can use all the sides or just a few. At the moment we are only using 6 of the 8 sides and its still plenty big. Easy to put together and move if required. Would highly recommend, great way to keep our puppy safe when not around. Could not have managed without this pen.

We bought a 60cm one for a cocker puppy. He worked out how to get out of it within 2 days. It did require him to jump in a very specific way and then wiggle over the top but he worked it out pretty speedily. I have though separated off bits and used them to pen in shoes and cat food and the like. He hasn't tried to get in yet. Really easy to put together and to use any number of panels.

This is the best purchase we made for our labradoodle puppy. It’s flexible and easy to put together. Easy to extend & have different shapes. She loves it as her den. Has saved our open plan house from chewing! My only negative comment is take off the rubber tips at the end of the poles as they fall off and puppy will eat them. That’s the only poor bit of the design.

This pen is huge for the price of it! Sturdy, easy to put together and my 11wk old Beaglier couldn't move it around.One thing to be wary of - my puppy was chewing some of the metal as an escape attempt and managed to get her jaw hooked/locked on one of the metal bars, and I had to manually free her from it. Keep a really close eye on determined pups!

Haven't experienced any of the problems mentioned by some others. Seems strong, well made, all joining pins fitted fine, no paint chips or rust and gate is secure. Arrived well packaged and quick. Great pen, with 8 panels you can make a wide range of shapes, you just have to work out which side to have each panel facing! Built in less than 3 minutes.

This was very easy to put together, took about 5 mins. Seems very sturdy and I like that you can have it in different shapes. We bought if for our new puppy who arrives on 1st August, he wont be left much but when I have to go to the shops I dont want him chewing my new kitchen (or anywhere). The price we paid will be more than worth it.

It's a big pen well made but the puppies could come out the size of bars is not good in that case had to use spare pen sides to go around to stop anything getting in or out need to think of sizes of pups when first born we had to put plastic tops of storage boxes and double up on panels but apart from that it's a brilliant pen
