I have these socks in size 42-43 and must say that they are true to the size.Fabric feels of a good quality, soft and is reinforced at the heel and toes area for comfort, durability and protection from blisters. These socks are mainly (70%) made from merino wool with an addition of polyamide (30%). They are a bit stretchy and very warm.I like the design of the socks and combination of colours /dark grey, light grey, black).They are marked with letter R and L to indicate on which foot they should be worn.The socks are quite long, aren't tight, but at the same time don't roll down.They arrived well packed/presented.Look and feel of a premium quality.I washed them in the washing machine in 30C degree on the programme for delicate fabrics and they still look like new.Quite pricey,

Fit as expected, though a little wider than expected in the toe.Other than the width, which wasn't a problem once I had shoes on, they are very comfortable. There appear to be no seams in them at all. The wool also did it's thing and kept my feet warm and 'fragrance free'(!) after two days of wear.The socks are handed, and marked as such, so you need to put them on correctly.I'm hoping that the 70% Wool /30% Polyamide is enough synthetic to keep them from wearing out; they seemed OK after their first outing and wash.

I love these socks. Love how they look and how comfortable they are.They got padded sole and it makes a big difference. Much more comfortable to wear especially with shoes that have hard soles. Mine boots have no padding at all and it can be quite uncomfortable with thin socks. No issues with these. My feet were feeling same like in trainers.And in my experience padded soles last longer.Overall good fit and comfortable hiking socks.

Falke are expensive, let's be honest, however they fit really well are comfortable, last better than most and if you are hiking of skiing blisters would be a nightmare. I have bought Falke performance socks like these as well as normal day socks and i have not been disappointed. See for yourself.

Falke TK2 wool poles can be purchased easily and quickly. Ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Saturday, so again very happy. Both shop and product are recommended.
