I walked 800km with two pairs of these, so 400km per pair on alternating days. I expected them to wear thin, to be too warm on hot days in Spain. But they were the best socks I have ever had, still as new (aside from a bit bobbled). They are roomy around the toes, good for bunions. Some days were very hot, and when taking breaks I would remove my boots. The socks were air dry in 15 minutes. Incredible! They have light cushioning which helped prevent blisters. Had I worn regular poly-cotton mix socks, they would have been wet and clammy and I am sure I would have suffered lots of blisters, not to mention horridly smelly feet. These simply don't smell, sometimes I wore a pair two days in a row.

I love these socks for general winter wear. They are extremely comfortable, the variable cushioning wasn't noticeable (wasn't too thick), and formed to my feet right away. Most importantly, they kept my feet not just warm, but temperature regulated. I like the height...if it's cold enough, I wear longjohns under pants so I don't need a longer sock. When my feet are warm / regulated, the rest of me feels warm too. Immediately bought another pair, and will likely buy more next winter.

I got these during the 50% off end of season sale and I can’t recommend these enough. So comfortable and cozy, you won’t want to wear anything else. I can say without a doubt that I’ll never be able to wear anything other than merino wool. I haven’t had the chance to wear them a lot but my dad is a huge advocate for icebreaker having travelled Europe for months a time and only having icebreaker clothing in his backpack. He loves icebreaker and I’m starting to understand why!

The Hike+Light Mini is perfect for my days outdoor giving sport classes.2-3 days with the same socks is not a problem, I just leave them outside for a few hours when I am back from work. Socks are as new for next days activities.Comfortable and thicker just where you need more support.Please make them in even more fun and happy colors so I can find them in my drawer.It makes your day happy if your socks are in happy colors!

Never imagined spending this much on socks, but I have to admit that I'm pretty impressed so far. Super comfortable, cool and breathable, and great fit. Was a little worried that they fuzzed up a bit on the back of the heel after my first day hike, but wore them a few more times and have not noticed any further wear, and they do have a lifetime warranty. Looking forward to doing a lot of day hiking in Gros Morne this summer.

Great cushioning and warmth for my winter walking commute. Ankle cuff is higher than the look I prefer but very comfortable to wear. I’m a 9.5, just inside the large range so these were a little long on first wear. I knew I’d tumble dry them and anticipated shrinkage. Great fit and wash easily. The left/right really makes for a great fit - if you put them on the correct foot! Excellent value with the 3 for 2 deal.

As all Icebreaker products and I have been a long time buyer, these Sox are wonderful, comfy and super warm. Just could be a little more breathable. I find myself taking them off because my feet are too hot. I am observing a trend to blending a lot and thus the merino content gets less.... which I regret.I like the light teal colour and sharp design and they even have an L and R on them for left and right!

I bought a pair of these to wear with my RMs in winter; they're the perfect fit, warmth, and height. They're not thick they're just really warm and well cushioned so I've now bought 4 more pairs. They're also fantastic in my hiking boots. LOVE THEM! As they're wool you don't sweat and your feet don't smell at the end of the day despite being in leather shoes all day. Highly recommend.

I wasn’t overwhelmed by these socks but they do the job I expected of them and what they were designed for. I was just looking for a short sock versatile to wear in lots of conditions and still be warm and breathable, I love the light cushion because I can wear it with ANY shoes casually or tramping, these will be great for me to wear at work walking around all day everyday outside

Once the warmer weather started I was getting very hot feet in my usual hiking socks, which resulted in swollen sore feet and blisters. I changed to Hike Light socks. They still provide comfort and padding, but don't cause my feet to over heat.The 'mini' length is long enough to wear with hiking boots. Prevents rubbing at the top of the boot, but the legs don't get hot.

I wear these in my riding boots. Summer heat does not make my feet feel sweaty because the socks truly wick the moisture away from my feet. I like the specific left/right fit of the socks, less bunching and NO SEAMS!!! I hate seams in my socks. These are the best - all the socks from icebreaker are fantastic. Even better when you can get them on sale...

These are great for hiking in shoes. If you have hiking boots I would suggest a taller sock. These provide great comfort without being hot, yet still keeping your feet warm in cold conditions. Wool is the best sock to keep warm when wet, but not over heat your foot when it is warm out. These aren't at all itchy like some wool socks. Great product!

These lightweight wool socks keep my feet warm and dry, even when I sweat or my shoes get damp. The quality is great - I wash them (and hang to dry) often and they continue to perform! And they don't smell after they dry out, even without being washed. They are worth the money because I only need a couple pair even though I use them daily.

Bought a pair for myself 3 yrs ago - still wearing them. Bought them for Christmas presents 2 yes ago- they’re still wearing them. Bought a his and a hers for a wedding gift. They loved them so much that they purchased their own. Now, I’ve bought Icebreaker ankle socks. They’re the best! Never wear out. Washable, dryerable. Perfect!

So very comfy, I love these socks for hiking, these are the second two pairs that I've bought. Even when it's really hot, they are not too sweaty. My only comment is that I have very skinny ankles and they are don't really hug my ankles tight so I do get the odd bit or two down my socks! No biggie though, would buy again.
