The Balega no-show Hidden Comfort socks are the best workout socks I’ve ever had. Yes they are expensive, but they are worth it. Very soft material feels plush on my skin. The thicker sole and heel adds a lot of extra cushion under my foot, and the thinner top allows for breathability and keeps the sock from feeling too thick inside my running shoes. The rolled collar on the heel keeps the socks from slipping down inside my shoes, particularly helpful when running on uneven ground. The socks haven’t shrunk or stretched after multiple washings, and seem to be retaining their softness and shape. I gave only 4 stars out of 5 for moisture wicking because the socks are thicker and will naturally hold a little more heat,

There are few things I really want for Christmas, but these are always on my list. I have at least a dozen pairs. I have given them as gifts. They are super soft, have excellent cushion, and they last a long time. The tab at the back seemed a little gimmicky to me at first, but now I understand why it's there, and it works. The tab doesn't really show. I own these in white and black. I felt so strongly I actually emailed the company to tell them how much I love these. They replied with a very nice email, thanking me for their support. I would never have thought, out of all the tech gadgets and other stuff that I have, that I would write a company or a review, about SOCKS.

I was a little worried about some of the claims of not getting an official balega sock. I ordered one pair to try. I can tell you my package states balega, says made from US yarn and made in South Africa. All things noted on the official balega web site. And they had an inspection stick on them with a picture of one of the official inspectors per their official web site. So, I would first have to say these are balega socks. I wear a size 8 so I also was a bit confused on ordering a small vs a medium and saw various reviews on that. I ordered a medium and they do feel like I have too much sock in my shoe. They did not shrink which I thought they might. I’m ordering my second pair but a small.

I absolutely hate wearing socks. I can’t stand the feeling of them on my feet. And if there’s a seam, forget it - it will annoy me all day. I know this sounds weird but I’ve had this issue with socks since I was little. Unfortunately, not wearing socks can cause some pretty stinky odors and blisters. Therefore, when I need to wear socks, I only wear Balega’s Hidden Comfort. I was introduced to them at a running shoe store a decade ago. They are literally the most comfortable sock you will ever wear. They are pure bliss for your feet. I’ve introduced family members to these socks and they are equally in love with them. I’ve just been for my first run in these (just 4km) and am extremely pleased. I bought them because I’ve recently begun having issues with blisters on the insides of my feet - just behind the ball of the foot. I’m not ready to replace my running shoes (which prevent all manner of knee and ankle problems) and bought these in the hope that they would help. So far, so good. Considering I have blisters from Saturday that are still healing, todays run was very comfortable. I didn’t even bother with plasters. I've been buying Balega socks for over five years now. They are so cushy and soft that I had to ban my fiance from wearing them (I very kindly bought him some pairs of his own so I am not a total non-sharing jerk).I absolutely recommend these socks for workouts, long runs, or just kicking it around the house. There is a little lip at the back of the sock that niftily fits over the heel of my running shoes, trainers, sneakers...whatever you prefer to call your kicks.Balegas are a little pricey but oh so worth it as they last for a long, long time.Lots of Amazon Love,Laurie

These are the nicest feeling socks I have ever worn. I only have two complaints:1. They make my feet sweat more than the regular cotton socks I was wearing before2. They pick up stuff off the floor more than other socks. For some reason everything and everything will stick to these socks and it’s hard to pick off. We have a wood stove and I always get tiny flecks of bark and wood stuck in these socks, but not my others.They are pretty pricey as well, but as long as they last a long time that doesn’t matter I guess.

I have been buying these socks now for about four years. They are super comfortable, mostly because the elastic around the ankle is not as tight as many other similar socks. Also, they are a bit thicker than many similar socks and so give an added level of comfort. The only downside about the white socks is that they get nubby pretty quickly and look dirty even after washing. But, there are all kinds of colours in this style.

I’m an avid tennis player and sports enthusiast so I spend a lot of time in my sneakers. I received a sampleof these socks in a tennis tournament and I can’t say enough positive things about them. I am slowly replacing all my sports socks with Balega Hidden Comfort socks. The added cushioning of the socks really does protect my feet from all the pounding, stress and soreness after a long match. They are worth every penny.

I read about Balega socks in a book I was reading and thought I'd check them out. After reading the reviews, I ordered a pair to see what the big deal was and now, I think my feet are in love! I've always had issues with the seaming on other socks while running - not so with Balega! They are cushioned, comfortable and my toes aren't sore afterwards. They wash nicely and keep their shape. I'm ordering a couple more pairs!

these are very comfy socks. BUT THEY RUN BIG. i ordered a size Medium based on the sizing guidelines. I wear a size 7.5 shoe. wow, i was still able to pull about 2 inches of extra sock from the tip of my toes after i put them on. next time i will get a size Small if i order these again. Im still able to wear them ok, but they are pretty roomy, too roomy for me. They are good quality and thicker then my Adidas socks.

These are hands down the best quality sock I have ever tried on. Despite being a no show sock I wanted one that fell at the edge of the sneaker and didn't slip down into the shoe. There is absolutely no slippage with this sock.QUALITY: Well finished seams. Bottom of the sock is well padded - besides walking, these are comfortable for around the house.FIT: M - fits women size 8.5 / 9 well.

They were comfortable and didn’t slip at all however they are not really “no-show” when I was wearing them with my cute little sneakers...I didn’t buy them to use as a workout sock but as a no-show for walking around the city in little white leather sneakers but ended up keeping them as the other no-shows I bought all slipped down inside the heel of my sneaker very quickly.

I have only tried a few pairs of running socks, so I don't have alot to compare it to. But this one for me is the most comfortable and works the best. I started looking into running socks because I was getting blisters inbetween some of my toes. That hasn't happened since I have been using these and they add a little bit of cushion without adding bulk.

Bought both the purple socks (Made in South Africa) and the white socks (Made in Turkey). Two separate Amazon orders but they won't let me review by color. I'd give the white ones only 1 star but the purple socks are awesome so they get 5 stars. Purple socks stay up where the white ones slip down into my tennis shoes.
